I stayed for two nights at this hotel, and it was a decadent, lovely experience. The pool is the perfect temperature and they let you borrow swim caps (which are required in the pool). The single-sex spas (which guests can access gratis) feature steamroom, sauna, and hot and cold whirlpools and they were clean, well-kept, and such a treat. The hotel room itself was so comfortable -- esp with free minibar snacks and drinks, and the bathroom is lined with gray marble and luxuriously large. The Taiwanese restaurant in the hotel has a Michelin star, so it is usually booked far in advance. The breakfast and lunch buffet is about $50/person and offers a tremendous variety of excellent food and drink, from a sahimi bar to custom-cooked noodles, single-serving hot pot, and unlimited desserts that are as gorgeous as they are tasty. It's too much food, to be honest! The only downside I could see is that it is located off the beaten path, so you need to take taxis or Ubers to get anywhere. But if you just want to relax and stay in the hotel, there's plenty to do.

建物・施設全般・部屋は贅の限りが尽くされており圧巻でした。朝食ビュッフェはとても充実しており、昼ごはんは摂れないくらい満腹感を味わえました。しかし、選んだ大きな理由のサウナと大浴場が壊れた？との理由で滞在中2日間使えなかったのは残念でした。また台北の中心部からは8〜9kmほど離れており若干の不便は感じました。最寄駅までも徒歩10分弱でしたので毎回タクシーで片道NT💲250かけて目的地まで行っていました(家族４人での移動ならかえって楽でした)。でもその分、ホテルのエリアはとても新しく整備されており静かでキレイな街でした。

The breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet were hard to leave behind after my stay. The staff was extremely helpful catching and directing taxis. Also, this hotel was the quietest hotel I have stayed in. It was busy, so I do not know if the guests are courteous or the walls were thick. The bed was softer than expected in Asia, so this was great as an American traveler. My wife and I slept so well. Compliments also to the cleaning staff. Great job making us feel cared for.

I truly enjoyed my stay in the Grand Mayfull Hotel Taipei. Stayed in a room in 8th floor for 3 nights. Hotel facilities and amenities are all of excellent quality and thoughtful for guests. Room is fitted with an unusually generous walk-in wardrobe, a delightful surprise for a female traveller like me. Bathroom is also very spacious, high ceilings and built with solid materials. Mattress is hard enough to my liking and pillows are comfortably soft. My back didn't play up that says something. All staff I've come across are super polite and helpful, from front desk staff, concierge, doorman to breakfast restaurant staff and cleaning lady. I pre-booked a pickup from local metro station when I arrive. Driver turned up right on time and is very friendly. He also kindly arranged for me a drop-off to the metro station for my next journey to Taichung. It went smoothly. Breakfast are fresh. Not overly spoiled with choices but foods are of good quality just like everything else. Beef noodle is delicious. The mochi cheese tart I had on Monday was a die-for. It was a pity that they only served it once during my stay. The hotel is situated at North side, slightly off city fringe. Not far from the Gu Gong National Museum. Grand Mayfull Hotel has certainly made its way to my top 3 "return hotels" list for future stays in Taipei. Already are planning for my next visit!

This is obviously an upscale property which, architecturally borders on over-design and at times, a defined decor. Nonetheless, it is opulent and the rooms were well laid out, and in contrast to the lobby, tasteful. Our only beef was with restaurant staff who consistently demonstrated a lack of training with respect to monitoring the needs of their clientele. Water glasses were not refilled, offers to replenish wine were non-existent and once food was served we were abandoned.

近くに有名な食堂があって気軽に食べ歩きできるような街並ではないですが、ミラマーに行けばお店も数多くあってお土産も購入できます。小学生、中学生を連れた家族旅行であり地下鉄ではなくタクシー中心の移動、快適なホテルを重視した旅行だったのでこのホテルの選択は正解だったと思います。ホテルプールは宿泊者無料。ロッカーにはタオルも常備してあり、本当に快適です。

さすが台湾老舗の5つ星ホテル！重厚感がとても心地良い。吹き抜けのロビーや天井の高い客室は解放感があり、廊下や客室内のカーペットもしっかりふわふわ。フロントやラウンジの接客も親切。日本語も片言で話してくれる。朝食ブッフェは種類も味もいまひとつなのが残念。フルーツはおいしかった。大浴場の入場は21時までなので利用できなかったけど、客室のバスタブが広くて十分満足。屋外の音も館内の音も一切聞こえず、とても寝心地の良いベッドで毎晩しっかり眠れました。最寄り駅まで10分ほど歩いて電車にも乗ったが、台湾はタクシーが安いので、都心部ではないこの立地は治安と喧騒と匂いを考慮すると断然おすすめだと思う

Staff was nice and friendly. Room was very spacious. It's a Japanese style hotel with an awesome Onsen. Men and women are separate. Only issue was they required a swimming cap to enter and use the pool. Considering we only wanted to lounge around and dip only, not swim, we decided to pass on purchasing a cap. Hotel itself is not convenient to the central parts of Taipei so we took a lot of taxis. But the area is very quiet and nice.

My stay at the Grand Mayfull Hotel was fantastic. Apart from the not-so-great location, everything else was perfect. Getting around was not challenging, as there are two train stations within a 15-minute walk, and at least one bus station within a 5-minute walk. The breakfast was also great. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

It was a very nice and fancy hotel. Great amenities. My only comment is the breakfast buffet is the same eveyday. We stayed for 6 days and we started to get tired of eating the same food evry single day. I was hoping that they would vary up some of their menu.

The location is nice and quiet. The hotel’s breakfast and seafood buffets are excellent. My only complaint is that the Michelin star restaurant Meipon was a big disappointment. We have been to multiple Michelin restaurants around the world and I must say that this was the worst one ever. We had to ask for linen napkins; the ambiance was lacking; it was noisy; the menu was boring and the food was a big disappointment. Everything about the restaurant did not align to the essence of a Michelin Star restaurant. It was very confusing.

The resort was so clean and beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. So luxurious, comfortable beds, gorgeous room, delicious breakfast. The hotel staff was amazing. The only feedback I would give is to change the breakfast buffet items daily for guests who are dining daily and also to have more vegetarian options. We felt very much at home at the Grand Mayfull!
