It should be made very clear that there is no in-person reception at the hotel. Only when attempting my check-in did I discover from a sign outside the previous reception area that check-in must now be carried out at the associated pub/restaurant opposite. In addition, the web site posted telephone number, which has a Telford area code, in reality links to a comms centre situated somewhere else. I was told that I would be redirected to the hotel. But no one picked up my call. I now understand that this redirection was in fact to the pub/ restaurant reception desk. On a Sunday afternoon this was very busy and no one answered my call. All very frustrating.

First time staying in this hotel group. Room similar to a travel lodge or premier inn. My room was ok but needed attention to detail to address some issues such as toilet roll holder missing but a hole on wall where is used to be, shower gel dispenser broken off wall, towel rail above bath hanging odd work. Also the bar (separate to accommodation block) shuts early at night at approx 1030pm. Breakfast was good except for no flora or non diary option for butter. Order due on the next day. I am intolerant to dairy. Would stay again without hesitation based on what we got for what we paid. Many thanks.

Interesting set up with the rooms all in a separate building to the pub. You have to check in at the pub and then go across to your room. But it was clean and the staff in the pub were friendly. Food in the pub was very tasty.

Fallow Field Hadley isn’t a fancy hotel, but the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room and all shared spaces were clean and tidy. We had all the facilities we needed for a short stay. The bed was comfortable. We didn’t use the nearby pub on this stay (we have on previous visits and it’s very pleasant). There is a petrol station with shop nearby (but not so close that we were bothered by traffic noise).

We got there later than we would have liked but check in was simple, staff were friendly enough. We were in the room literally just to sleep, no more than about 9hrs so was okay. The room was not greatly cleaned, dirty socks from previous people under the bed, sink had toothpaste in etc but for how long we were in it, it didn't matter that much to us. Beds very comfortable linen seemed clean

The rooms are big, there’s a good sized tv, comfy beds and a great bathroom although a shelf for toothpaste and toothbrushes would be helpful. Best of all is there’s a pub just across the car park where breakfast is served every morning and fab food the rest of the day! Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the housekeeping team are to be congratulated!

We had a lovely stay here and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was large and beds comfy and it was convenient for the Ironbridge museums etc, about 15 mins drive away. Would recommend!

Room was next to the lane for the Burger King drive through, there was a refrigerated trailer outside the window which was running 24/7 so couldn’t open the window due to noise. Trying to sleep was impossible Very disappointed.

We stayed for 3 nights. The property itself is alright for a low cost option in Telford, staff are very nice, rooms are clean but... It's next to a BP garage and a drive-thru BK, each night the local 'car' club come out the play, I think they're called 'Telford bad boy exhaust popping, rear ending, small c@ck crew'. If you like the noise of a Santa Pod race weekend through from 10pm this is the place for you. If not then stay away as the noise is quite incredible for a couple of hours each night. I did talk the garage about it and they said they couldn't do anything about the noise, not sure the police are too bothered either...

Booked a room at around 22:05 to find out on the confirmation email that you can not check in after 22:00 tried to call the hotel as states 24 hour reception after 6 attempts over an hour there was no response, I went to the hotel no sign of anyone and no answer on the intercom. Now lost the money for the room and not even stayed in the room. Very poor service and not accurate advertising.

Sadly the reception staff were particularly unhelpful after they had cancelled my travelling companion’s booking. We were told many lies about their mistake and they refused a full refund to my friends. They totally refused me a refund so I had to stay on my own. They were unreasonable and unapologetic.

I recently stayed at the Fallow Field in Telford and while the room itself was comfortable, I encountered a few issues that affected my experience. I booked through Hotels.com and chose the ‘pay at property’ option, but the hotel charged my card a day before arrival, which was quite inconvenient since it was the wrong card. Additionally, I requested a VAT invoice at check-in and was told it could only be issued at check-out. Since I checked out early in the morning before the front desk opened, I was advised to request it later via message. Unfortunately, despite multiple messages over two weeks, I have not received any response or the VAT invoice. This lack of communication and failure to provide a VAT invoice is disappointing.

Hotel for what it is, is nice enough. Check in staff were really good. Night porter was less use than a chocolate fireguard!! After listening to a drunk couple argue for 2 hrs at 3am I went to find the night porter. 3rd attempt at paging him he arrived. I explained what room I was in and that the couple had been arguing for over 2hrs and that she was now stating she didnt feel safe and wanted to leave. He then went and knocked on the door and just said "please keep it down others are alseep"!!! How is that checking on someone's safety? Absolutely ridiculous! I ended up having 4hrs broken sleep and I am not amused. I delayed check out for some day staff to be on but by 9am there was no sign and I had to attend an urgent appointment.

We had a lovely stay here and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was large and beds comfy and it was convenient for the Ironbridge museums etc, about 15 mins drive away. Would recommend!

Room was next to the lane for the Burger King drive through, there was a refrigerated trailer outside the window which was running 24/7 so couldn’t open the window due to noise. Trying to sleep was impossible Very disappointed.

We stayed for 3 nights. The property itself is alright for a low cost option in Telford, staff are very nice, rooms are clean but... It's next to a BP garage and a drive-thru BK, each night the local 'car' club come out the play, I think they're called 'Telford bad boy exhaust popping, rear ending, small c@ck crew'. If you like the noise of a Santa Pod race weekend through from 10pm this is the place for you. If not then stay away as the noise is quite incredible for a couple of hours each night. I did talk the garage about it and they said they couldn't do anything about the noise, not sure the police are too bothered either...

Unfortunately my booking was cancelled although I phoned the customer care line prior to ensure we still had a booking. The pub had to close the kitchen early due to only having one chef. I had to wait 20 Minutes for my drink order and 35 minutes for food which were just starters and kids meals by which time my children were very restless. My room only had one set of towels despite being a double room and when I asked for more towels I was promised more would arrive but they never did.

We had a lovely stay in a really lovely hotel. Room very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and check in was easy. We had a family party there and the food for their buffet was delicious and plenty of it. Later that evening we had a meal there and Was delicious. Again breakfast was great and plenty of choice. All the staff at each of the stages of our day were friendly, helpful and nothing too much trouble. Will be visiting again when we are in the area visiting relatives.

First time staying in this hotel group. Room similar to a travel lodge or premier inn. My room was ok but needed attention to detail to address some issues such as toilet roll holder missing but a hole on wall where is used to be, shower gel dispenser broken off wall, towel rail above bath hanging odd work. Also the bar (separate to accommodation block) shuts early at night at approx 1030pm. Breakfast was good except for no flora or non diary option for butter. Order due on the next day. I am intolerant to dairy. Would stay again without hesitation based on what we got for what we paid. Many thanks.

Very comfortable and clean. Staff were excellent, pleasant and efficient. Accommodation is separate to the hotel so the room was nice and quiet. Meal at the pub was delicious and breakfast in the morning was really generous and cooked beautifully. Would definitely recommend.

I was very impressed with the hotel and staff. Everything was very clean and serviceable. My only issue was the food I ordered for evening meal, which had to be returned as inedible. I was refunded but was left hungry overnight. I was offered a replacement but I had been put off. The service was superb, but the quality of meat and the poor attempt at cooking it, gave me no confidence in trying an alternative. A shame, because everything else was excellent
