The Warwickshire Hotel and Country Club

Because of Heath club the facilities are overcrowded. One of the bars appears to support remote workers. The other health club members. This is a health club with hotel rooms attached. The driver here is the health club. And there are unique rules. You may need read or use a laptop iPad or iPhone in the pool area as they are afraid of picture taking. That was a first for me. Weird

Fab spa, gym and swimming pool included in the night’s rate! Loved it. Also really friendly helpful staff.

Excellent location for visiting Warwick and Stratford. Staff were very friendly and efficient, food was great, gym was unbelievable and a great swimming pool. However having two children aged 10 & 9 with us , the availability of the swimming pool was a real disappointment, as it had been one of the reasons for picking the hotel. Being swimmers and quite old, the children’s pool was not appropriate for them. They were only allowed in the main pool between 2.00 and 6.00 pm which was restrictive for visiting attractions in the area. This was further complicated by there being swimming lessons taking place in the pool on both days which restricted the area available to swim in and took away from the enjoyment

Consistent standards and friendly staff. Food good, leisure facilities excellent. Both golf courses are a pleasure to play on. Lots of parking and lovely area. One small negative for us although it doesn’t stop us visiting frequently are the beds are rather hard for our liking.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at the hotel. Facilities are great with good sized swimming pool as well as 2 childrens pools and seperate spa area with heated pool, sauna and steamroom. Also 2 bars as well as restaurants. Access to several golf courses. Room was lovely. Spacious and well equipped. Plenty free parking on site and easy enough to get a taxi into centre of warwick which took about 10mins. Nice quiet area and staff all very accomodating.

Excellent out of town venue for relatives attending Warwick University Graduation ceremonies. Clean rooms, excellent beds and good bathrooms. Average breakfast but helpful service. It’s a really busy spa and sports club with lots of children attending (start of summer holidays) but we never got chance to try the facilities as we were at the Uni. Not cheap but excellent parking and good security. Our only problem was very poor Wifi in our room and when it rained reception had no umbrellas to loan out

The Warwickshire Hotel and Country Club is a pleasant place to stay with several strong points. The hotel offers plenty of parking, although spaces can become limited at busy times due to spa and gym members also using the facilities. Guests benefit from complimentary use of the gym, which is well equipped with modern, state of the art machines. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with good bathroom facilities and reliable air conditioning. The showers are strong and the overall cleanliness is well maintained. Electric vehicle charging points are available in the car park and the staff are consistently polite and welcoming. There are some areas that could be improved. Mobile phone reception is very poor across the site, which leaves guests dependent on the WiFi. Unfortunately, the WiFi is weak and extremely slow, making even basic video streaming difficult. In room televisions only provide standard local channels and are not smart TVs, which feels limited given the standard of the hotel. Overall the hotel provides a comfortable stay with modern gym facilities and pleasant staff, but improvements to connectivity and in room entertainment would make the experience much stronger.

I love this place. Great to have access to the golf club, gym and spa facilities. Good food and polite staff. Always my favourite place to stay in Warwickshire

you have to pay for early check in but room not ready for the time you have paid for. TV and phone line not working. staff not especially helpful. carpet and lampshade all stained.

I must have stayed at the Warwickshire 20+ times in the last 2 years. Standards have definitely declined drastically which I’m sad about. Dirty bathroom, smelly drains and not as clean as my previous stays. I waited to be seated in the restaurant for at least 5 mins before venturing into the bar and found that empty also. After ringing the bell on the bar a few times I got served. I’m immediately ordered main meal and dessert. The triple cooked chips weren’t cooked through and still hard. I lwaites several minutes after finishing whatever’s edible of my main and found a member of staff to deliver my dessert. They collected my empty plate while delivering the dessert. My apple pie pastry was still soft and soggy on the bottom. For very basic food on a very quiet night, knead surprised that all of my food was under cooked, especially when it was so slow to arrive.

Exceptional quality stay, very very clean, quiet, tasteful and comfortable. Only thing to note, is that the staff do not readily offer information e.g. simple reception info like where the wifi code is, what time the pool opens and closes, what time breakfast is/and where - or reminder of the exit code. No one serving at breakfast or letting you know you can order different eggs from then already laid out buffet. They were helpful and really nice when asked, but a bit of a chore when you go to leave and have to go back to get the carpark code. It's actually written on the keycard envelope, but i handed that in so didn't have it. Prob more my fault than anything. Maybe just a training issue I think, but all good, and would deffo stay again.

Fabulous hotel room, very spacious, clean and modern. Stylish decor and luxury bathroom. The pool is big for some actual swimming, then relax in the jacuzzi, steam or sauna. Only criticism here would be the floors in the changing areas could be mopped over more because of people walking in their outdoor shoes so take some sliders! Its a great location for going out, we got a £7 taxi for meals out in Leamington, as well as ecploring Warwick and Stratford. Staff were informative and helpful, all in a great hotel stay!!

We had a lovely room with air conditioning, great bathroom with excellent walk in shower. Shame the hair & shower gel was empty.

I stayed for one night for a business trip. There was no slippers in the room, I asked the reception and they said there is £10 charge for it! I expected this to be included for a 4 star hotel! Also I had fotgot my toothbrush and toothpaste and again nothing in the room. All is in the room are bottles of water and a kettle with tea and coffee bags. No minibar either. To make it even better, I went to take a shower in the morning and the shower gel/bodywash bottle was empty! I squeezed it as hard as I could and there come a tiny drop! further, stay away from room 33, it is in front of luft and stairs door and you get loads of noise. This is not a 4-star for sure, a best it is like a decent 3-star hotel.

Lovely room, great location and a beautiful setting. Good facilities—especially the golf—and an enjoyable breakfast. The main downside for us was having no mobile phone signal in our room, despite having three phones on different networks. The Wi-Fi was also a little unreliable. The bar area, while pleasant, was quite lively with children using screens and playing under tables—likely just after swimming lessons had finished—which disrupted the otherwise calm atmosphere. If you’re planning an early, quiet meal, you might prefer to eat elsewhere.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating. You get access to the pool with sauna and steam room which is really good. Based on a golf course but the main views from all windows are car parks. I’d definitely stay again if you are just wanting a nice quality room in a convenient place to explore Leamington and Warwick

The bed was unfortunately a nightmare as there were two twin beds pushed together and we couldn’t sleep. Our room was next to the hall entrance so we heard everyone coming and going all night and morning. The only good part was the pool and leisure area.

We were visiting for the bank holiday weekend as a mini-break for family of 3. Points to note: Very hard bed, room had leaking pipework and a missing door viewer piece. Travel cot that was provided had brown stains on it. Breakfast was pretty basic. However the decor in the rooms was very good and the proximity to the swimming pool and the gym was great - there’s also a crèche on site (1 hr only for hotel guests) which was fantastic and the room service food was a bonus (even though pricey) in the evenings for us with a baby/toddler. Service was very friendly and they were nice people. But there were sometimes issues with room service charges for club company members and I had to double check the payments on checking out as they said that breakfast wasn’t included when it was. All rooms overlook car parking spaces but distant views are the golf course/countryside. They did put us in a quiet room and even the though it was backing into the lift and there was a wedding and golf tournament on site we had not trouble with noise which was fantastic. Something I noticed was the wifi was shockingly slow so we had to use a portable sim router - but this was because the hotel was super busy - but something to note. Also tv’s were not smart tv’s so we used our ROKU. Overall we would definitely visit again due to activities/facilities and golf courses were amazing but just ‘forewarned is forearmed’ in terms of small details.

This place deserves 5 stars but the wifi in the room sadly let it down, I was told it can be unstable and that the best place to access was in reception which is not really ideal. Everything else was fantastic, the facilities were top class loved my swim, jacuzzi, sauna and steam. The room was spotless and elegantly decorated and the breakfast was delicious. Plenty of parking en site. Grounds look lovely but haven't explored.

Nice place spoiled by the differential treatment of local gym members over hotel guests, whereby they benefit from dining promotions and discounts that are not afforded to hotel guests. Clearly this is wrong and leaves you feeling like a 2nd class citizen. Staff are friendly but often poorly organised, with cafe bar staff being frequently over whelmed from the numerous gym customers.

Breakfast was good but service was poor as had to keep asking them to refill hot food, orange juice and then coffee machine, which an obvious thing to keep doing ??

Lovely Laura was so friendly and ensured I enjoyed my stay as well as Tristan in the pool and spa area who was so engaging and interesting as well as bring interested in guests. Stayed for a long weekend for the British Grand Prix, hotel was excellent, staff were friendly and very helpful. Would stay there again.

All the staff were great and attentive and helped us with all our questions and needs. Carey especially was very helpful and went the extra mile to get myself and my friend gluten free bread for our breakfast. Without her attention to detail we would not have had a gf option

Staff were lovely from the moment I arrived. Efficient service. Room was very spacious and all clean and tidied each day. Food great in the Club Room.

Found the staff to be very cold and unfriendly, hotel felt very corporate, staff were more interested in the gym customers than the hotel guests. As a hotel guest dont expect to have to que behind gym customers. One member of staff in the restaurant at breakfast was very friendly. No information given when checking in, had to find everything our self. Room was good.

Very clean and beautifully landscaped surroundings. The bar areas is not as cosy as some hotels but other than that, it is a well equipped hotel

The best things about The Warwickshire are the location (right in the middle of countryside / very attractive golf course...looks amazing even if you don't play!). The staff are friendly and helpful. They even sent me a coat I'd left behind on one stay. The value for money on the rooms is good and access to swimming / sauna and other facilities is included which really adds value and provides relaxation. The only thing I would say is that the food doesn't really match the standard of everything else and I understand thats not why people go there but it just needs lifting a notch or two. Overall, I pick this place every time I have to work in the area.

The hotel is set in a beautiful location with ample parking. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable.

It’s a pleasant hotel where the rooms feel modern and clean. Was very frustrating to be denied access to the main car park as it was full of guests at an event. I needed to charge my car in the main car park but this was refused and I was advised I could always move my car later once the event was over.

Great location, a short taxi ride into Warwick. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend

Great breakfast

This is a great place to stay if visiting the area. Great location, its a short drive to Warwick and Kenilworth castles, and Stoneleigh Abbey. Perfect to nip around as you please. Clean and spacious rooms, a nice comfy bed, and all the space you need. Really nice bathrooms, for some reason overlooked in some hotels. It was clean with a large and very nice walk in shower (a very nice shower gel and conditioner provided) However, don't pay for breakfast. It really was the big letdown. Having recently stayed at another hotel for a similar price, the break was a meek offering of some cerals and a small offering of cooked options to pick from. 1 member of staff unenthusiasically, let us know what food was where and that was it. Having recently spent a similar amount of money at a hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, it was clear that this place has a lot to learn on the breakfast front.

Team at the hotel were very pleasant, the gym is good and the room was clean and warm. Menu a little uninspiring and the restaurant a bit sterile, so we went out to eat.

We stayed in Room 25 ( ground floor) room was large, spacious bathroom- stylish and warm.view was hedges - car park behind but it was fine. Staff were polite and helpful, Sri Lankan curries were amazing, we had dinner and breakfast. The restaurant was cold both times, lack of heating?

Lovely hotel with extremely attentive and helpful staff. Facilities were great. Food menu in the restaurant was a little limited so we got a taxi into Warwick the second night.

Clean and tidy, food was not the best but spacious room and the ability to take the kid into the swimming area made up for that. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, with lots of people trying to get at the same time and the coffee machine kept breaking
