On the plus side, our room was spacious and nicely appointed with traditional furniture, and the public spaces (the upstairs balcony and the ground floor courtyard) were both charming. In addition, parking in the gated lot was easy and relatively inexpensive ($10), and the inn has a great location near the downtown riverfront. The one big drawback is that the rooms are not very soundproof, making it impossible to sleep in once the early risers and hotel staff got going around 7am.

The Church Street Inn is an impressive hotel. From the recently renovated lobby interior design to the fragrance that flows throughout the common areas and the friendly and helpful staff, it was like a breath of fresh air. You cannot beat the location, as it is within walking distance of the restaurants and boutiques. For an older hotel, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Surprisingly, parking was easy with a dedicated gated parking area, and hotel amenities were easy to access.

What a gem! The hotel couldn't have been better for our girls trip. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It's located in the heart of everything and we never moved our car out of the gated parking area. I will definitely be back!

Location is perfect for walking to all the nearby shops and restaurants on Front Street. Gated parking lot is available for $10/night, but I found the area to be pleasant and felt comofrtable with street parking for two nights. Area is quiet and most places shut down aroun 8 or 9pm but there are a few open later. Hotel was clean and front desk service was top notch and friendly! Beds were comfy, water was nice and hot. Tv was funky because we could only get the Roku to work and wanted regular cable, but no biggie. I would stay here again.

I had to make a last minute reservation for a business trip. I was able to get the last room available. What a joyous surprise it was when I found out the rooms all have a Louisiana theme and I was blessed with the Steel Magnolias room!! One of my favorite movies. The room was big and decorated in memorabilia from the movie. The staff were friendly and informative. Happy hour complimentary wine and free breakfast were a nice plus. The area is quiet yet right next to Front street with all the shops & restaurants as well as the river front walk. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

Beautiful property and very convenient to Front street and all of the walkable shops and waterfront. We went in January AFTER the hustle and bustle of the holidays. I completely recommend that if you dont need to see the Christmas lights AT Christmas, go in January. We got to experience everything without all the crowds and it was wonderful. My only issue is that being an older building, you can really hear people talking through the walls and walking around. We were right across from the elevator which was nice, but we could hear people late into the night. The bed was almost TOO soft but it still made for a comfortable night. The room was huge and the bathroom was awesome! You can probably find a place to park pretty close when there's not an event going on, but its nice that the optional gated parking is inexpensive and you know where your car is. Definitely would stay here again!

We have stayed in this hotel many times and this will be our last. The bathroom was not clean, multiple hairs all over the place, debris on the floor. The AC didn’t work and there was no one to call to address it. In the morning the housekeeper was incredibly rude.

This was a very nice clean hotel. It was nicely decorated and seemed to have had recent updates done. I loved the boutique feel. The staff was very friendly and explained everything very well. We enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast. It was in a great location. We could walk easily to eat and shop.

This hotel was the perfect location just one block to Front St. for easy shopping and dining. Right next door to the Basilica for Sunday Mass. It was a beautiful hotel, very clean and so accommodating to any needs we asked for. As single women we felt very safe. The rooms were big, beds were comfortable, nice plush robes, balcony gives beautiful views and very safe. The breakfast was hot breakfast of biscuits, eggs, grits, sausage or bacon. The owner has decorated it so beautiful and you feel pampered in luxury! Loved this hotel and will make this an annual event staying here. Just one note, they need a soap dish.

To be honest, I ended up being disappointed in this hotel. It started great with the look and feel of the place being really nice and quite upscale. The biggest problem was that the walls are PAPER thin and you can hear every sound from the surrounding rooms. I had a heavy snorer on one side and a guy who turned on the TV at 6am on Sunday morning. Basically got zero sleep. Oh, the breakfast was very uninspiring. Served in a bleak, windowless room with very limited options. Meh.

I really wanted to love this cute boutique hotel, because the staff was so kind on the phone. They helped me extend my reservation, and helped me with restaurant referrals for making reservations for my large gathering of 15. The location is also fantastic, walking distance to cane river and restaurants. The place was cute and clean. Happy hour wine was offered at 4:30, and breakfast was offered. The lobby wasn’t large enough for our group to visit, so we moved to the courtyard, which was nice. The rooms were noisy however. My brother in the next room could hear our conversations. There’s a fire station nearby and we heard several sirens each day. My husband and I are light sleepers and didn’t sleep well.

We made a request of Church Street Inn regarding use of the room we had guaranteed & cancelled on the morning we were to arrive. We had cancelled our reservation due to a family issue. We called & asked the hotel to provide a room in the AM when we determined we could make the trip to Natchitoches. The person I spoke with at the hotel indicated that she had space but would need to speak to with management to provide us a room even though Church Street was to receive payment for space even though our reservation had been cancelled. The hotel did not respond & grant our request until 9:30 P M. By that time I had left multiple messages without hearing from Church Street Inn, completed the drive from the DFW area & found other accommodations because of their failure to respond. The lack of a timely response to the request of staff & management to grant use of space that was available when we spoke to the front desk prior to noon is unacceptable. We own a business in Natchitoches, have stayed at Church Street on a number of occasions and will not stay there again due to their lack of attention to our request.

We have been coming to Natchitoches for 25 yrs and we havent stayed here before! We are do glad we tried it for this trip! We will be back. The walk to town is easy and the facility is awesome.

Great niche hotel with a fantastic location in Natchitoches. Front street is literally 100 feet from the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely visit this place again.

What a gem! The hotel couldn't have been better for our girls trip. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It's located in the heart of everything and we never moved our car out of the gated parking area. I will definitely be back!

My stay at Church Street Inn was very enjoyable. Hotel is a short walk to beautiful Front Street and Cane River Lake. Merci Beaucoup restaurant is directly across the street from the hotel, everything is conveniently located. Natchitoches is a beautiful old southern town and Church Street Inn made my stay completely wonderful.

For the amount I paid for the room, the breakfast needs to drastically be improved. We had to go to the cafe one block away in order to enjoy a home cooked meal which cost extra. My suggestion is that Church Street Inn have an option during the booking process for customers to choose whether to eat at the hotel or eat at a nearby cafe. CSI needs to partner with a near by cafe and offer a voucher for eating elsewhere. Thank you.

Many hotels have a complimentary breakfast. But this hotel had homemade biscuits and gravy and homemade breakfast casserole! No powdered eggs or reheated frozen breakfast biscuits at the Church Street Inn. Wonderful staff!

To be honest, I ended up being disappointed in this hotel. It started great with the look and feel of the place being really nice and quite upscale. The biggest problem was that the walls are PAPER thin and you can hear every sound from the surrounding rooms. I had a heavy snorer on one side and a guy who turned on the TV at 6am on Sunday morning. Basically got zero sleep. Oh, the breakfast was very uninspiring. Served in a bleak, windowless room with very limited options. Meh.

I had to make a last minute reservation for a business trip. I was able to get the last room available. What a joyous surprise it was when I found out the rooms all have a Louisiana theme and I was blessed with the Steel Magnolias room!! One of my favorite movies. The room was big and decorated in memorabilia from the movie. The staff were friendly and informative. Happy hour complimentary wine and free breakfast were a nice plus. The area is quiet yet right next to Front street with all the shops & restaurants as well as the river front walk. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

The bed was sooo comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Buffet style, homemade casserole and grits were great! AC worked great. Staff so nice. Mila was helpful. We were missing a couple of items that would COULD have been charged for if we didnt notice them missing , but we told them. No issue. Great price! Beautiful little town.

This was a very nice clean hotel. It was nicely decorated and seemed to have had recent updates done. I loved the boutique feel. The staff was very friendly and explained everything very well. Everything was perfect. Staff was friendly. Property was clean. Only complaint I had was I was there for three days and I didn’t get any coffee or creamer and sugar sets brought to my room and since I had to leave every morning for work before they put coffee or breakfast.

The only complaint I had was hair in the room, which I assume was from previous guests, and bugs on the floor. Other than that, the hotel was very nice, and the staff was very helpful and very nice. I would stay at this location again.

Great hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. I stayed in a "deluxe king" and the bed was comfy but definitely on the higher side - they even had steps you could move to get up in it if needed. The hotel is perfectly located to visit the cute downtown Natchitoches shops, restaurants and sights.
