Went to the cricket in Sydney and have stayed at this hotel before. It is close to the airport but very quiet. Rooms are spacious and the food and drink is very good. Only down side is that it doesn't have a swimming pool

Hotel was fine, clean and not far from the airport. Staff were efficient but not very welcoming, no pride in customer service. Also dissapointed with the 'Executive Lounge' offering, which turned out to be 10 minutes worth (we arrived at 6.20, and apparently this only runs from 5-6.30) of a Canape Service in the middle of the main restaurant and a buffet breakfast (also just in the restaurant). Definitely not as advertised.

My stay at Pullman is a mixed bag. Parking cost and location was not expected when checking in. The parking is located next door to the hotel which is shared with other business. By the time you get to the hotel parking level, there is a weird mechanical frame in each spot to accommodate two cars. If you go up to the next level, normal parking spaces. However no elevator access which is located on the level below. $40 per night for this inconvenience is not justified. My single room was excellent in design. However, the fitting are now showing wear along with the A/C not allowing you to change the temperature.

I booked an executive lounge room and it seems the executive lounge is not open. Instead they do drinks and canapés in the downstairs restaurant, which is not very comfortable. There is also a very limited selection of canapés and the wines aren’t great. I also didn’t have an airport view.

This is a fantastic hotel, close to the airport and walking distance to Mascot where there are plenty of restaurant options. The gym is great and the breakfast is fantastic. I have stayed here twice and will definitely stay here again.

My stay at this Pullman was just as good as my previous visit 7 years ago - professional but friendly staff, and they seem to keep it in excellent condition. Nice quiet comfortable modern rooms, good bar/restaurant area, and easy to get to/from (including low-faf check-in and out). It's a business-class hotel, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for business or personal travel. Pullman is my preferred overnight when staying in Sydney, and based on that hotel I'd choose a Pullman over any other hotel when staying elsewhere - it's the right mix of price/quality. Also, as a gym-goer I find the gym is quite good by hotel standards - I can get a workout in there.

Nice property and area. Close to the airport. Staff was very helpful and kind. After closer look hallways appear to be obviously renovated and don’t quite feel professionally done. Curtains had stains on them and shower drain was clogged to the point of overflowing into the bathroom.

The carpets in our room were filthy and there was an item left behind by previous guests in the room. Restaurant was just okay. The room and amenities were not of a 5 star standard and put us off staying at a Pullman hotel again. Saving grace of our stay is that the staff member (a chap called Stewart) helping with our luggage/storage on check out was excellent.

Only concern was open bathroom with the shared single sliding door between the adjacent toilet and shower - you can only close one door at any one time. So if your partner is showering and you need to poo...you'd have the room open before you :-)

I got held up and couldn't get to check in until after midnight, I spent over 40mins and 4 different calls to make contact with the night manager, to inform them I was going to be late, then once I got there, I had to wait again to get into the hotel, you would think the night manager would walk around with a phone so they can take calls. The Reception and Guest Services staff were among the best I have ever encountered in over 50 years of traveling. They went above and beyond to assist me and make my stay VERY enjoyable and comfortable. Two standouts were Alysia and Mukunda whose professional, courteous and compassionate assistance were much appreciated. I can't thank them and the whole staff enough. The staff were uniformly helpful and polite. After a 15 hour flight we arrived at Pullman Airport at 9:00 AM, hours before their 4:00 PM checkin. Within 20 minutes we were in our room, showered and asleep. The hotel was a short walk to Sydney’s excellent metro system. The concierge Stewart was friendly and very helpful, always helpful and checking up on us afterwards. He also got us a taxi on New Years Eve, and if you have been in Sydney for New Years that is nothing short of a miracle. We have found our go to place in Sydney.

This place does have the upmarket vibe that I think you're looking for when you select it. The problem is that the management is not on top of it. Just little niggles everywhere that let it down. A forgotten/missed breakfast card hanging on the door. An absent concierge for too long while waiting to check in. A crazy excuse for not immediately seating us in the more-than-half-empty restaurant ... then serving us at the bar the exact food we'd have ordered in the restaurant ... it came from the kitchen that supposedly couldn't receive us in the restaurant! These are the signs of a management that doesn't know how to do service. The staff themselves were happy and attentive perfect really. Just let down by systems and management sadly.

Room wasn’t ready for check in, at 430pm. Moved to a different room. We had requested an extra bed for our son. Which we were told it would be ready in 20mins. We came back at 5hours later and it wasn’t. Additionally, we ordered breakfast the next morning and it took 1hr before we got up and left. Very disappointing. A hotel we only go too as a treat everynow and then.

Enjoyed my stay. The hotel is up-to-date and comfortable. It is walkable from the airport but it is a bit of a hike which is made more difficult with luggage, especially if you have a good bit of luggage. The only reason I would not rate this property as excellent is that they do have transportation to the airport but you have to pay for it.

Great location to the airport - 5 minutes in an uber which is much cheaper than the hotel transfer. Station is close by to get into the city - took about 20/30 minutes. Hotel is clean with all the usual amenities. We didn’t have breakfast as had an early flight so cannot comment on food.

We had a lovely stay at the Pullman Hotel. It’s conveniently close to the airport, though still about a 10-minute drive — so even if you’re only staying the night, it might be worth choosing somewhere in the city, as it’s not much farther from the airport either. The hotel offers an airport shuttle for $10 each way, but it stops at other places along the route, so it’s actually cheaper and quicker to take an Uber instead. The room itself was beautiful — very comfortable bed, stylish design, and a great bathroom. Room service / Kitchen couldn’t toast the sandwich (a ‘Toastie’) I’d post the photo if I could. The room service staff member was so embarrassed that they didn’t charge us for it. My wife didn’t eat it! She went hungry. My pizza was not good either, I didn’t eat much that! Had we known we would have eaten before returning to the hotel. Pullman Airport is a hotel we have stayed at before. We actually like it very much. Senior hotel management needs a ‘Rev-up’!

The restaurant was poor in my experience. Service was off hand and with the breakfast maître de quite rude. The good was very average. Had a fantastic stay ..close to the airport..walking distance or bus stop next to hotel. Great size room ..bed very comfy with a selection of pillows. Great buffet brekkie spread with egg station good selection of breads and cereal fruit and sweet muffins and pastries. Had dinner in the restaurant ..my chicken dish was superb...and the prices were great. All the staff I encountered were nice and friendly . Look forward to staying here again

We stayed at the Pullman Sydney Airport Hotel for three nights last week and, unfortunately, the experience fell short of the standard we would normally expect from the Pullman brand. The room had several issues, including staining on the carpet in multiple locations, a refrigerator that did not maintain a sufficiently cold temperature to keep milk properly chilled, and a non-functioning bathroom nightlight. We were also disappointed to find that valet parking was no longer available, as this is a service we would normally associate with a hotel of this calibre. On our first night, we ordered room service. While the meal was acceptable, the chicken wings ordered by my wife were coated in an excessively hot sauce that made them almost inedible. Overall, these issues detracted from our stay and left us disappointed. We expect a higher level of room maintenance, functionality and service from a Pullman property, and we hope management will address these concerns to bring the hotel back up to its usual standard.
