Element by Marriott Huntsville

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, the service was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Every employee I interacted with went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The hotel itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, creating a home-away-from-home feeling. It's clear that the staff takes pride in their work, and it truly shows in the service they provide. The breakfast options offered plenty of variety and provided nourishing food, far surpassing the typical continental breakfasts at other establishments. My whole family thoroughly enjoyed the happy hour from Monday to Thursday and were a bit disappointed that it wasn’t available on the weekends as well. The pool was so much fun! I loved the indoor/outdoor continuation and hot tub. The cabanas were a nice touch as well. The location was incredible! In a shopping/entertainment district so you never need to leave the area. Lots of restaurant options, a movie theater just steps outside of the hotel. Superb! Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming experience.

Washers/dryers were broken throughout multiple weeks, elevator broke a couple times, and breakfast area was too small for the number of guests. Rooms were nuce size and quality, and the area is great.

Didn't like the pay too park. Happy hour was too short

The property overall was amazing staffing rooms everything was good my only dislike was the hot tub was extremely cold. I was so sore after my drive I needed that hot tub and it was cold actually colder then the regular pool.

Beautiful room big windows, comfortable bed, convenient kitchenette, good central air, modern shower, pool could use some cleaning and regular towel replenishment but nice amenities. Corner had a great view of the rockets from space center. Offers easy walkway connection to the mall and self parking right in front.

This hotel was one of our favorite's but sadly has deteriorated greatly over the last year. Damage on walls everywhere, dirty bathrooms, broken elevator part, dirty pool, and sadly so much more. I hope they can get things resolved as it is in an amazing location.

Family stay (2 adults, two boys). The queen studio had tons of room. Nice and clean, all staff were super nice. Connectwd to the Westin, so joint pool acces and its a lovely pool. Can easily walk to dinner, shopping and entertainment. Easy drive to the Orion and other areas (Top Golf, shopping, etc). Highly recommend!

Up on arrival I was informed that they had to have a debit or credit card to hold $150 fee for in case anything was missing or broken this is after I already paid $1000 for 3 nights so I was a little mad when I heard it will be held for 7-10 business days. Free breakfast was worse than dog food so I paid $54 for 3 of us to eat at the sage grill which had the same options you would topically get for a free continental breakfast at other hotels. You could not see the bottom of the pool it was so cloudy but the bed was pretty comfy

-SOOO LOUD, paper thin walls -Low on linens every day -hallways had a tunneling feeling -green wawter in pool -workout room was pretty good -not the healtiest food for breakfast

I had a really horrible time at the Element and I couldn't wait to leave. I went there for a weekend getaway. Our room when we arrived had someone else's food in the cabinet and wrappers in the drawers. The rug was stained and terrible looking. When we sat on the couch, the pictures on the wall actually fell down. After calling guest services multiple times no one ever answered the phone. I called back in the morning and they basically said they couldn't do anything but they would contact housekeeping and maintenance. Housekeeping never came, and maintenance came and put the pictures back on the wall. I had to call again and go to the front desk before housekeeping actually stopped by. The breakfast is served in a small room that is crowded with people. They did nothing to offer me anything or make my stay better, or offer a discount. It was very disheartening and felt like a total waste of money.

This hotel is a pretty poorly renovated, thrown together mess. Our room was dirty! Hair, sticky substances, etc. Decor was cheap, scale was terrible. Two pictures fell off the wall and onto my daughter while she was on the couch. My parents stayed in a different room and felt the same way. Overall I would never stay here again nor would I suggest it. Way too expensive to feel like it was so cheap.

Not a good experience. The room was not clean, especially the bathroom. We had two TVs and one remote. The remote didn’t have batteries, so basically no remote. It took them almost 2 hours to bring us new remotes, in the meantime we had to listen to the welcome tv channel. The front desk lady acted like we were wrong by even asking.

Great rooms and clean.

We couldn’t check in until almost 5 (check in is at 3pm). There were no trash bags in the trash cans. There was string from the previous occupants socks or something left in the bathroom ( at first we thought it was a bug, but at a closer look it was like string from a sock) . If you lift the mattress up there are napkins straw paper and a bottle cap along with a bunch of dirt under it. There was a group of children ages looked to be 11/12 running around being loud all night. I’ve never been able to hear as much noise from others in any other hotel I’ve stayed in. I’ve stayed in less supposedly rated hotels that were cheaper with a lot better experience.

I actually took photos of the multiple stained couch, matted brown stain on wood frame of bed, wrinkled bedding, dirty carpet in bedroom, mold in shower, broken table in sitting area.

Toilet is not cleaned.

Room was not cleaned at all in four night visit. Asked after 2nd night and they said they would. When we arrived back that night it had not been cleaned but staff had placed a “Dont Disturb” magnet on outside of our door. We asked again the next day. A bag with some towels in it was on desk when we returned that night and one of the three trash cans was emptied. On two mornings approx 8 am we observed individuals moving through the front parking lot trying to open doors on guests’ vehicles. One of the individuals had just been eating food at the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was awkwardly displayed and difficult to serve(limited counter space for placing down dishes etc). No variety in items available. Same every morning. Hallways are maze-like and emergency stairs not clearly marked- feels dangerous. Overpriced compared to a hotel i had just stayed in nashville for same price with twice the amenities. There are many other places in this same area— Element should be your LAST RESORT. Second rate in every way. UNRESPONSIVE STAFF.

Room was not clean, stains on carpet. Food crumbs and "other things" around mattress frame.

Service was excellent!! The only thing was the cleanliness of the room was not what u would expect from such a nice hotel. The bathroom had what looked like blood splattered on the wall and door around the door handle and the sink was not cleaned and the shower was nasty around the bottom and the door.

Nice property, lots within a short walk. Not a fan of the wooden rails around the mattress, not comfortable getting in/out of bed

Room was nice. Walls are too thin and the people next were loud abd obnoxious. Guest services didn’t do anything about it.

The walls were paper thin. When people next to us turned water on at 2 in the morning we woke up terrified thinking a train was coming through the walls. Also every time someone opened and closed their room door it would slam so hard it would make you jump. Pillows were not comfortable but bed was nice with fluffy covers. Disappointed to pay that much be be woken up almost every hour cause of external noises and that is with us having our own sound machine on in our room.

Room and location was top tier! My only complaint was I had someone with an infant baby next door to me and was constantly woken up from them crying. Also, it was really loud in the hallways at night.

The hotel itself was nice but room size was a little small. They air conditioner would make a sound as if someone was trying to knock down the door every time it turned off. And the room next door to ours was extremely loud as if a lady was getting beat and crying so had to call security. Kids freaked out every time the AC was turning off bc they thought someone was trying to get in the room. Overall property was nice but not the greatest experience.

The hotel is very good, its location is great as you have all of the amenities of the shopping plaza, with which it shares a location. The lobby is basic and the room is not spectacular, I overlooked the lake and the mall. The view from my room was great and made up for the lack luster lobby.

We have stayed at the Westin before and thought thats where wed booked tbh- we just thought it had undergone a name change. That said- great luck because we enjoyed the element even more. The rooms were larger and we had an amazing view, and the bed was SO comfy! We will definitely be booking agaon!

Hard floors instead of carpet. Free Bkft is always amazing. Separate bedroom with super comfy beds. Sofa bed too lumpy! Roomy kitchen and bathroom. Outdoor mall a few steps away with tons of restaurants ‘ movie theater. Our fav place to stay when in Huntsville

Booked in March for an event July 29th. Got there at 5 pm check in was 3:00. The clerk said they overbooked and we did not have a room. Found us a room next door, but the room was not as nice as what I booked. Not only did we not get at least a partial refund, kinda got attitude like I should be happy they gave me a 100.00 room for 326.00. Staff was nice, management is terrible. Do not stay here if you are traveling for an event. You may not get to stay at all!!! Element and Westin are connected at this location.

Booking error upon my arrival caused for a delays of up to 2 hours for check in. I lost valuable time through an Expedia error, but really enjoyed my stay after the hurdle of check in.

Had issue with the door lock for my room not working (Battery had died), front desk had very little empathy and could care less I couldn't get in my room. Left for dinner for a hour and still wasn't fixed till after I returned and waited another 30 min. Front desk next morning said they would compensate me and apologized but checked out with full charge still on my bill. (I paid at the hotel not through hotels.com)

Ease of check in , friendly staff , nice accommodations , beautiful suite.

Jai was at the check in. She was amazing. She changed our room with a smile and understanding. We really appreciated her professionalism.

Staff were very friendly at check in and the property is in a great location. Super clean too!

The front desk is staffed between the Westin and the Element. You may have to walk over to the Westin to get service. Limited knowledge from desk staff on anything. Airconditioning in the room do not work well. Room are spacious, gum is nice, location is great. This is a very much "you are on your own" type of hotel.

Surrounding environments are excellent; Quiet, peaceful, people are nice, while walkable to many nice places.

Very comfortable and a nice breakfast. the staff were very helpful and friendly. the location was very close to many restaurants as well as shopping and a movie theatre. I'd stay there again if I am in town for the space museum or a concert again.

Wonderful location. Could walk to shopping and restaurants easily from hotel. Very nice area. Could here the lady in unit above or below talking on phone in bathroom early in am - she talked and talked and talked! Only thing bad about the stay.

The property was attached to a shopping area and we were able to get dinner and walk around without having to drive somewhere. It's close to things to do around town. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was fresh and there was a verity.

The room was spacious and the location was amazing. The only thing lacking was the breakfast. It was too crowded, not enough seating, and there wasn’t enough food or utensils for everyone.

When we booked, we assumed Westin had changed the name. It didn’t. It’s divided into 2 hotels now. Westin (which is where we ALWAYS stay and love) and Element, which was explained was an “extended stay type hotel” I was immediately reluctant. I asked as we were unaware of the 2 separate properties that we could request to be moved to the Westin side(per Westin employee they had a few available for one night). We had a short notice booking due to being in town for a funeral. We asked at the Element check in and was bluntly told “no, they are full but we can take you” they didn’t even check! We get back from meeting family for dinner. My husband dropped me off at the front for him to park as it’s raining. Parking was a nightmare. I noted 2 parties who were meeting downstairs. One kept getting keys made (I counted 10) and they were bringing in large quantities of alcohol. The other was a group of women in pjs loudly talking about “we about to get lit up here” The parking lot, lobby, elevator and hall to our floor had a strong aroma of marijuana. (I unfortunately get migraines and vomit when this is too potent) Which is what happened! I’m scared if I get a random drug test I’ll be positive there was so much! The partying lasted until clear into the morning. The “complimentary” breakfast ran out of food by 830, there was no place to sit and the “party goers” were still clearly under the influence. When we checked out 9 am; I went to turn the key in and they were rude!

Yes, Breakfast wa great, not your standard like other hotels. Fresh and tasty. Kitchen in suite was just what we needed.
