The hotel is about 200m from Back Beach, whereas the closest hotels are about 50m. Back Beach is superior to Vung Tao's Front Beaci in my opinion. The room came as advertised with no complaints. The pool is excellent with a swimming play area for children. Adjacent to the pool is a young child's play room as well as foosball and billiards for we adult children. There are sections of the pool that are covered providing nice protection from rain or sun. The buffet breakfast is well above average.

We stayed for one night at this 5-star hotel. We agree with the 5-star ratings. Although this is not a VIP property, it is better than some of the 5-star hotels. We received our welcome cold drinks when we arrived. We were able to check in before 1pm for one of two rooms booked. The room is spacious with partial ocean view as advertised. Our other room is bigger and has ocean views. The room has all the amenities except hair conditioner. The exterior hotel wall has a light show at night. The beach at the hotel area is blocked off for 4-30-25 celebration. We have walked down a few blocks to get to the beach. The pool was clean and quiet for sun bathing and lap swimming. The pool table is great too at the entertainment center. The free breakfast buffet was wonderful and it has a great variety of American food and Vietnam food. It has duck noodles soup as well as all kinds of desserts and fruits. Coffee machine is also available plus other fruit drinks. The lobby area is very good waiting area. One negative is the room safe is not bolted to the cabinet so it can easily remove the entire safe from the room. The hotel checked our rooms to make sure no missing items before we can checkout.

The breakfast buffet was amazing. Only a couple minor things. The hand-held shower head in our room (1515) had mold on it. And because it's right now to the elevator bank, you can hear the elevators going up and down. It didn't disturb my sleep, but it might for some. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with our friends.

The beds at the Malibu were very comfortable with premium bedding. The rooms were spacious and very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was expansive with everything you could want and the pool was nice too. Well located within a couple of minutes walk of the beach.

We stayed for one night at this 5-star hotel. We agree with the 5-star ratings. Although this is not a VIP property, it is better than some of the 5-star hotels. Hotel posted highlights on hotels.com that was deceptive. It says free extra bed upon request but when requested, it took frontdesk hours to confirm with sale dept and still expected me to pay extra for the bed, even after hotels.com called the hotel and told them to send me the rollaway bed as that was included in my booking and me showing them their advertisement on hotels.com. Frontdesk should be trained on what is included in booking and not relying on sale dept to confirm. Breakfast buffet has good presentation and variety but the seasoning on some dishes are slightly off. If you book via third party app, make sure to confirm with the hotel all the amenities you need and resolve right away and be careful that this hotel tends to lean towards surcharges.

Was great, except the man that cares for the pool. Very lousy attitude. He barked at my guests about the swim clothes. Forbad them from swimming. Later, a girl apologetically explained about salt or something in the water. She was nice, he was rude.

Check in your experience was terrible. The front desk team was not the best with problem solving. We was with small children and the check in process was such a pain. For the price we paid i didn’t think it was worth it.
