Lage ist direkt hinter der MegaPark. Hotel ist gepflegt, die Mitarbeiter sind stets hilfsbereit. Leider wurde der "Hinterausgang" am Pool zugemauert, sodass der "kurze" Weg zum Strand, zum Shoppen und zum MegaParkt nicht mehr möglich war - jetzt nur noch Ausgang über die Hotel Lobby.

This is a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed the spa & massage services, pool and restaurants on site. Staff were great! We were a bit disappointed with the location / proximity to the drunken chaos at the beach and distance from the old town. Just something to be aware of if traveling from far away - make sure you do your research on this location! Again, the hotel itself is beautiful and we would highly recommend the massage / spa services! However, trying to find decent dining options and activities within walking distance from the property was near impossible.

Wir waren schon öfters im Hipotel Gran Playa de Palma und kommen gerne wieder. Einziges Manko sind die extrem glatten Fliesen im gesamten Poolbereich.. Das ist wirklich gefährlich, auch wenn man sehr vorsichtig geht. Hier sollte das Hotel Abhilfe schaffen.

Perfect! I couldn’t have chosen better! 5 mins to the beach, excellent breakfast and dinner buffet options ( I had the half board), beautiful and spacious bedroom, nice shower, loved the pools… Front desk attendant also helped us buying the excursions, which was a big plus.. I would definitely return!

A very nice hotel, more impressive compared to the advertisement. The lobby, the rooms, the breakfast and dinner. The pool-bar. Efficiency of personell in restaurants. Especially appreciated the low noise level in the breakfast and dinner restaurants. The garden next to the pools were well maintained. Well working A/C in room and lobby. 100m from the beach and beach-walk. The prices at pool-bar were reasonable. Can highly recommend. If you visit the hotel, pay a visit at the top floor bar in the next door sister hotel ”palace”. Something to improve may be the quality of entertainment. Was a lot better on the top floor in sister hotel ”Palace”. The pools were no deeper tjan 1.20m and a bit too warm for my taste (36 degrees in shadow).

Super Hotel mit allem was man braucht und gutem Essen . Ganz großes minus das Hotel hat leider den Zugang vom Pool zum Strand zubetoniert was eigentlich für uns immer eins der Vorteile war da man kurze Wege hatte jetzt muss man viel weiter laufen um an den Strand und zurück zukommen … daher kann man dadurch auch andere Hotels buchen

Our stay was fabulous, very clean modern hotel! We had a junior suite with a terrace and sea view. Breakfast was amazing, with so many options. We would definitely be coming back!

Unterkunft ist einfach wunderbar. Gesamte Hotelanlage sehr gepflegt und sauber. Personal bis auf ganz wenige Ausnahmen sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gastronomie alles bestens. Hier sollten due Mitarbeiter aber bitte darauf achten, dass beim Tausch von Essensschalen das Kondenswasser vom Boden nicht in die anderen Speisen tropft. Sies geschieht leider mehrmals am Abend. Nicht sehr appetitlich. Geschirr ubd Besteck oftmals nicht richtig sauber.

Wir wurden beim Ein- und Aus-Checken sehr freundlich empfangen und beraten und auch der tolle Service beim Mieten eines Elektromobils (für Senioren) und Mietwagens direkt beim Hotel hat super geklappt. In unserem Zimmer haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt: Alles sehr schön sauber, hell und großzügig eingerichtet. Das Frühstücks- und Abendessen-Buffet lässt auch keine Wünsche offen und hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel-Personal war in jedem Bereich sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen und werden bestimmt wieder einen Urlaub dort verbringen.

Das Hotel übertrifft in jedem Fall die 4 Sterne Kategorie. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Anlage ist wunderschön und sehr gut gepflegt, die Zimmer überdurchschnittlich groß und schön. Begeistert waren wir vom Frühstück und Abendessen. Es wird alles in Buffetform angerichtet und schmeckt durch die Bank ausgezeichnet. Ebenso der Außenpool ist in tollem Zustand und es gibt jederzeit ausreichend Liegen und Schirme. Einzig extrem störend empfanden wir eine Gruppe von Gästen (erwachsene Personen mit Kidern im Jugendalter). Die Boom Box, über welche sie ihre eigene Musik laut abspielten (neben der, welche man von der Bar selbst hörte), war nicht das lauteste Organ der Gruppe. Sie tanzten auch als einzife auf der Wiese und führten sich unmöglch auf. Leider hielt es nur ein einziges Mal ein Mitarbeiter für nötig, sie auf ihr nerviges Verhalten anzusprechen - das zeigte aber keine Wirkung. Das hat den kompletten Tag (leider unser Abreisetag) ziemlich mies gemacht und denn Ballermann gefühlt direkt ins Hitel gebracht. Wirklich schade.

The staff was awesome and top-notch! It was a beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, it was really noisy. We heard when the restaurants across the street were recycling the glass in the bins all night long. Because it is so close to everything, the people along the beach are very noisy and you hear everything. Wasn’t anything that the hotel could do but that was annoying. Also, the air conditioner never got cold so our room was warm.

Hotel was big and clean but impossible to sleep. No noise isolation in room, cleaning start early and we couldn’t sleep. We didn’t find the basic of 4 stars hotel in room ‘No tissue paper’ we told us to use the toilet paper.

Ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal hier und würde wieder hinkommen. Das Hotel hat ein schönes Ambiente und hier fühlt man sich wohl. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Zimmer schön groß. Selbst die günstigeren Zimmer sind ausreichend - wenn man keine tolle Aussicht braucht.
Ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal hier und würde wieder hinkommen. Das Hotel hat ein schönes Ambiente und hier fühlt man sich wohl. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Zimmer schön groß. Selbst die günstigeren Zimmer sind ausreichend - wenn man keine tolle Aussicht braucht.

Don't stay here or in this area. Flew in from Canada, after 16 hours flight, the AC Does not work!! The hotel lied to us and said they will get a technician to fix it and for 2 days no one could get it to work. Finally, one staff told us there is a regulation in Spain that customer cannot use the AC thermostat and they control it. I almost had a heat stroke, it was uncomfortably hot and stuffy. AC did not work, we checked out 2 days early and got out of there. The hotel staff is unfriendly and no customer service skills, they did not refund us for our 2 nights $700/night and lied that AC was working. The entrance lobby has FULL air condition but everywhere else there is supposedly a regulation. Good way to fool customers. We tried to choose luxury but this is not. Area is full of drunkies and loud. Breakfast was good but exactly at 1030am they turned off the lights in the restaurant while we are eating, WHO does that in a luxury hotel? If we are paying $700 / night then we are not beggars for food! Just need some relaxation while eating, not turning off lights and machines. It's just a massive hotel with a nice pool but nothing beyond that!

Great property overall. Really clean and well kept. Front desk service team could really use an education on hospitality. Tried to make multiple request by calling front desk and they did not want to seem to help accommodate. Not all too friendly either. Breakfast buffet had great selection. Houskeeeping staff was amazing ensuring room cleanliness. Overall a great stay. It would be More amazing if the front desk staff could be more accommodating to guests needs especially for being a 4 star hotel, now I can see why they are not a 5 star.

Pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, nous avons été enchanté par sa grandeur et sa propreté à notre arrivée. Les réceptionnistes ont été très aimables et très rapides pour nous enregistrer. Nous avions demandé un lit pour notre fille de 9 mois, il se trouvait déjà dans la chambre lorsqu’on est arrivé. De plus, il était gratuit pendant le séjour pas comme dans certains hôtels. Pendant le mois de février qui est la saison creuse, il n’y a pas trop d’activité dans les alentours mais l’hôtel dispose d’un bar et d’un SPA avec piscine intérieure qui sont des points positifs. De plus, vous disposez d’autres activité à l’hôtel pour vous occuper. Si vous voulez vous rendre en ville de Palma ou ailleurs, les arrêts de bus de transports publics de la ville est à proximité de l’hôtel. Pour 2.- EUR par personne vous allez jusqu’en ville. C’est très bien desservi et moins cher que le taxi. Et le bus vient toutes les 15 minutes. Le seul bémol que je peux dire, est que pendant notre séjour nous avons été déçu un matin au petit-déjeuner. Il y avait pleins de clients et nous n’avions pas de table sur un coin pour stationner notre poussette. Nous avons dû la coller contre un mur afin de ne pas gêner le passage. Une serveuse nous a demandé de changer de place car c’était trop dangereux. Nous avons trouvé une table dans un coin et avons commencé à déjeuner. Une autre serveuse est venue nous dire de changer de table car on gênait avec notre poussette. Là, j’ai annoncé mon mécontentement et d’arrêter.

I couldn’t have chosen better! 5 mins to the beach, excellent breakfast and dinner buffet options ( I had the half board), beautiful and spacious bedroom, nice shower, loved the pools… Front desk attendant also helped us buying the excursions, which was a big plus.. Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig in das Hotel und waren immer zufrieden. Diesjahr wurden wir jedoch enttäuscht, selbst in der Nebensaison war das Hotel teilweise überfüllt. Unser Zimmer (kostenpflichtiges Upgrade mit Meerblick) war direkt neben einer Baustelle, sodass wir am zweiten Tag das Zimmer wechseln mussten. Meine Lebensgefährtin hat sich wahrscheinlich beim Abendessen eine Lebensmittelvergiftung zugezogen, sodass sie im Krankenhaus behandelt werden musste. Trotz Krankheit war kein Late-Checkout (auch nicht gegen Aufpreis) möglich. Allen in allem sind wir dieses Jahr mit dem Aufenthalt nicht zufrieden gewesen.

My AC would not work even though I followed all of the instructions from the very rude front desk. The room had no coffee or a mini bar as was advertised. The bar stuff was not knowledgeable about common cocktails. The bathroom was also not fully stocked. The only positive was the comfortable bed and the helpful overnight concierge. It was far too expensive to feel so uncomfortable and be treated poorly.

Wir wurden beim Ein- und Aus-Checken sehr freundlich empfangen und beraten und auch der tolle Service beim Mieten eines Elektromobils (für Senioren) und Mietwagens direkt beim Hotel hat super geklappt. In unserem Zimmer haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt: Alles sehr schön sauber, hell und großzügig eingerichtet. Das Frühstücks- und Abendessen-Buffet lässt auch keine Wünsche offen und hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel-Personal war in jedem Bereich sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen und werden bestimmt wieder einen Urlaub dort verbringen.

L’hôtel est très confortable mais très froid! Le personnel pas vraiment chaleureux Son emplacement est le pire je pense à Majorque… juste en face d’un énorme complexe de Bars où la viande saoule hurle du matin au soir! On n’est pas en Espagne mais en Allemagne ! Même la nourriture est allemande. Le bord de mer est jonché de bouteilles vides et de jeunes alcoolisés! Bref, a fuir absolument si vous souhaitez vous balader alentour.

This is a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed the spa & massage services, pool and restaurants on site. Staff were great! We were a bit disappointed with the location / proximity to the drunken chaos at the beach and distance from the old town. Just something to be aware of if traveling from far away - make sure you do your research on this location! Again, the hotel itself is beautiful and we would highly recommend the massage / spa services! However, trying to find decent dining options and activities within walking distance from the property was near impossible.

Tolles Hotel mit sehr gutem Service. Große Zimmer und große Terasse. Großes modernes Badezimmer mit begehbarer Dusche und 2 Waschbecken. Abwechslungsreiches Essen. Lediglich die Essenstemperaturen hätten höher sein können. Gerade die Buffetgerichte waren eher lauwarm bis kalt.

Wunderschönes Hotel! Wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort und auch Freunde von uns waren auf unsere Empfehlung dort, begeistert, und wurden ebenfalls zur Wiederholern. Die Lage am Megapark ist Geschmackssache, im Hotel hört man davon aber nichts. Das Essen ist sehr gut, einziges kleines Manko ist, dass es ein bisschen mehr Hauptgerichte für Vegetarier geben sollte. Salat und Beilagen sind grds für mich in Ordnung, aber an zwei der sieben Tage gab es Veggie-Hauptgerichte (Burger und veget. Ragout Stroganoff), und das fand ich noch viel besser als nur Beilagen zu essen. Den Aufschnitt beim Frühstück fand mein Freund als Nicht-Vegetarier qualitativ verbesserungsbedürftig. Die Aufzüge rappelten bei unserem Aufenthalt etwas, da hatten wir öfter ein mulmiges Gefühl.

We're to start! Amazing Hotel in a prime location. This hotel is beautiful and offers so much. The food is delicious, highly recommend purchasing breakfast and dinner. The outside and inside pools are fantastic, as is the spa area. Great downstairs bar. Bus stop in the back of hotel. You can take the bus to Old Towne/Cathedral for 2€ per person bus 25. Airport bus A2 can go to the bus stop in the back of the hotel and scan app for times 5€ per person. Note few things on the hotel from previous reviews that are correct. Rooms are not sound proof, by the bed is a panel for room temperature control and do not disturb or clean room, lock items up in safe. Cons: dinner you have to purchase beverages including water.

The staff was awesome and top-notch! It was a beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, it was really noisy. We heard when the restaurants across the street were recycling the glass in the bins all night long. Because it is so close to everything, the people along the beach are very noisy and you hear everything. Wasn’t anything that the hotel could do but that was annoying. Also, the air conditioner never got cold so our room was warm.

Perfect! I couldn’t have chosen better! 5 mins to the beach, excellent breakfast and dinner buffet options ( I had the half board), beautiful and spacious bedroom, nice shower, loved the pools… Front desk attendant also helped us buying the excursions, which was a big plus.. I would definitely return!
