Elements Tulum Boutique Hotel

There is no elevator although it's a 3 floor hotel with a rooftop restaurant.

Staff was very nice when checking in. We arrived a little early and they let us into the room. The room was spacious and super clean. The pool area and court yard was very nice and offered a quiet area. The hotel is located near a few restaurants and grocery stores.

The hotel had no running water or electricity. We had to pour buckets of water in toilet to flush it. No compensation offered

The hotel is adorable and well designed. The pictures are a great representation of it in real life. The rooms are spacious and have beautiful details. The staff were all so nice including the night security. There aren’t many parking spots but there is street parking next to the hotel and it was never a problem. We had our room turned over every day and it was always left clean, smelling great and AC on when we arrived! We only had breakfast there one morning and it was extremely limited but tasty. The hotel is far from the Tulum Hotel Zone, where the fancy restaurants, clubs, and beach is. You really do need to drive (car, bike or motorcycle) it would take a longggg time walking. Around the hotel however, there are places to eat shopping etc. We were happy we got an SUV as the roads are bad, they have large potholes that fill with water when it rains. Overall our stay at ELEMENTS was enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone!

Such a lovely hotel! Quiet area and hotel but close to lots of restaurants and bars. We hired bikes from the hotel twice to cycle to Tulum beach. We would strongly recommend this hotel!

The hotel location is good. Unfortunately the pool and breakfast area were under construction/repair. Staff is really great. Still good value for the money.

Antonio is great! Attentive to needs and any questions you may have. He made us feel very welcome! However, the property pool isn't pretty, and I mean appealingly clean. Also, the pillow covers had dirt on them. When I removed the cases, the pillows were worse! Only stayed for one night, so I didn't make a complaint to see if that would be helped, but other than that, this is a decent place! I would stay again if they fixed that, and for the service.

The room was spotless. The staff is friendly and helpful. I loved the location. The hotel is a couple of blocks away from the center of the town. So it’s quiet yet easy access to restaurants, taco stands, bank and diving options. I would stay here every trip.

The property is very clean. The pool area is beautiful. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind.

$64 for a poolside room on a Sunday nite in March. You get what you pay for. We were just in Tulum for 2 nites & thank goodness we’d spent the 1st nite @ a pricey hotel in South Tulum that was on the beach. The front desk staff was very nice, especially Alfonse. The room was dusty in very visible places, there’s no down comforters as advertised & the whole place is in need of an update. The pool is cute & the aircon worked very well. It’s overall quite worn & don’t let the pics fool you. There’s free parking - 3 spaces on each side of the building or you can park on the street. There’s a big grocery store/ Walmart like establishment within easy walking distance & good restaurants in walking distance. But if you want tk be impressed, stay in South Tulum in a beachfront hotel. The Alaya there was great!!! This Elements, basic & not so great.

La habitación y el hotel es agradable, es fácil de llegar, únicamente encontramos un poco sucio el baño y el piso estaba pegajoso

Hotel pequeño pero muy limpio y confortable. Muy buen tamaño los cuartos, buen clima para el calor que hace. Esta localizado cerca de varias agencias de auto lo cual nos facilito el recoger y entregar nuestro auto rentado.

Always clean always friendly

Hotel rooms were really modern and spacious and the bed was amazing. We really loved our room. We had a small shaded terrace. There was a small pool with a few chairs but hotel generally is very shady. There was a lot of rain while we were there so we didn’t sit outside and enjoy it. Staff were helpful but a couple of requests about things in the room (no handsoap/new lightbulb needed) went unheeded. There was water available in reception and a fridge in the room. The hotel was a good price and I would stay again. Be aware that they take a card deposit on arrival which is pending on your account till they check your room on check out. It takes quite a while for it to be recredited.

Very good!! Large Rooms, Clean, and by far thr best bathroom and shower pressure in Mexico!! The A/C in our room wasn't cooling and the staff did not hesitate to move us to a room.. excellent service!

The staff were all very friendly. Room has a little balcony. It's a little bit off the beaten path but not too far walk to many restaurants, we found lots. It's a short drive to Tulum ruins. We had small issue with the a/c but was fixed right away when we told them. I didn't see an elevator, something to keep in mind if that's something you need. The parking is a little tight but we had a small car so was manageable. Liked this place, would stay again.

We recently stayed at the Elements Boutique Hotel for 7 days. Our flight and shuttle to the hotel were both delayed, which caused us to arrive at the hotel at a very late hour. The desk has a 24hr concierge who was ready to greet us upon our arrival. He helped us with our bags and escorted us to our room promptly. He explained that we could finish our check-in process in the morning once we woke up. This was very appreciated, as we had a 10 hour travel day and were incredibly exhausted. The room was exactly as pictured on the website. It was incredibly clean (floors, towels and bedding washed every day). The air conditioning was very cold and worked great (individual unit in each room). The room was very roomy, well decorated and comfortable. The hotel is located near many other hotels, restaurants and the main downtown strip. There is a pharmacy directly across the road. Pool/beach towels are readily available at the hotel. The best part of this hotel, is the incredible staff. The hotel reception staff are beyond helpful and kind. They assisted us with booking excursions, gave us great restaurant recommendations, helped us to call cabs and even assisted us with communicating with our shuttle driver for our return trip to the airport. They always remembered any request we made and would assist us promptly and/or make a note for it to be completed as soon as possible. The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home and help us in any way they could! Great stay!

The women at the front desk was very courteous and allowed us to check in early. The hotel itself is very charming with balconies that open onto a closed interior courtyard. Price was very reasonable. Guests were quiet and respectful of others. Recommended.

Hotel is well located and clean. I was there years ago and I noticed a slight decline: towels were old and some had holes, no more body lotion and or nice soaps although there was shampoo and conditioner in a refill container. Tulum in general has declined and it’s noticeable everywhere. But our stay was comfortable, AC worked perfectly, bed was comfy too. Hotel staff friendly and helpful.

Super friendly front desk service, great deal on bike rentals, free umbrella and towels, a little outdoor shower to rinse off after a beach day, nice middle location between downtown and the bike path to the beach (about a 15-20min ride), the shower was big and had a pleasant rainfall style head, plenty of hot water, nice AC unit, cool aesthetic, pretty much checks every box for a nice little stay! Oh and the beds are super comfy AND I paid $62 USD for an hour long deep tissue massage right in my room. Just a good deal all around. There’s still more! You get a discount at the gardenia cafe next door which is family owned and operated and a pleasant place to get breakfast. Truly a gem. Alfonso at the front desk will fill you in on all the things to do.

Elements is located very close to everything you need. You can walk to the centre of Tulum, restaurants, 15 minutes to the beach via bike, shopping and tours are all very convenient. The staff was wonderful and accommodating, informative and helpful. Great experience.

The location is centrally located. As a solo traveler this was important. I was able to walk every and the beach was a 15m bike ride away. The grounds were very quiet and security at night was an added bonus.

Great location, walking distance to restaurants, bars, supermarkets, etc. A little bit far from the beach, but a cheap tide by taxi or a good ride by bike. Please don't miss the "PAPA PEZ" Fish and Chips stand right beside the entrance of the hotel. You won't be disappointed, it's the best Fish and Chips you will ever try.

Todo biem salvo el desayuno, entiendo que eata concesionado, pero era una sola persona la.que cocinaba, mucho tiempo, no es buffet, y no muy amable la sra. Quiza porque estaba sola....pero para ser desayuno no deberiamos empezarlo con alguien que no sabe contestar amablemente...todo.lo.del hotel muy bien...Don alfonso muy amable y la señorita tambien , me.permitieron dejar tantito las.maletas y pasar al.baño despues de.mi salida...

En temporada baja no ofrecen desayuno en el hotel, entonces se tiene que buscar en los alrededores. El hotel en si está agradable y la habitación amplia, la iluminación del cuarto tanto natural como artificial es buena y la cama está de buen tamaño

Thanks for the amazing time at your hotel. ( ) The hotel has a good connection to the city center and the beach. You can reach the beach in around 10 minutes (by car) and 20 minutes (with bike). (-) The breakfast is really limited and the offer isn‘t really varied.

Hotel muito bom, quarto enorme, cama maravilhosa. Nosso quarto era do lado da piscina, muito bom. Café da manhã muito bom. Atendentes da recepção muito atenciosas.

El hotel está ubicado en un área céntrica de Tulum, no es la zona hotelera ni está cerca de la playa pero si es una buena opción para descansar en silencio después de un día lleno de actividades! Lo desatacado: EL DESAYUNO!! Delicioso y abundante. Definitivamente volvería

Reinigungspersonal war sehr laut…bereits morgens! Frühstück à la carte…allerdings nur 4 Möglichkeiten, was bei einem längeren Aufenthalt ganz schnell eintönig wird (war aber lecker).
