We visited Movenpick Jimbaran in Febraury 2024 and were very impressed with the staff, the spa, the choices of food, the kids club, proximity to the beach (3-5 mins walk) and quality of the resort. We have stayed at many hotels around the world and this would be up there with one of our favourites. Before going, we researched the kids clubs for our 3.5 year old. She thoroughly enjoyed this and the team looked after her well. We always stayed with her, due to her age, but she was more than happy playing with the other kids and loved all the great activities they had planned. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the spa (as did I) and the team decorated the rooms nicely for Valentines Day and on our arrival. The kids menus at the restaurants were also great - plenty of options for our picky child. The adults food options and beverage list was exceptional too. Lovely pools and 2 water parks for the kids - our daughter enjoyed both. Overall, a great stay. We have also stayed at their resort in Maldives. Both are great. Will be back.

Fantastic stay for families - well set up, attentive staff, incredible buffet breakfast and facilities for kids with kids club, pools and slides. Resort prices for food but all delicious and plenty of happy hour/specials to take advantage of. Chocolate hour was an insane full buffet with cakes, chocolate fountain, popcorn, fruit, candy floss and more. Our daughter had her birthday while we were here and the staff set up the most amazing room decoration and cake for her, all complimentary. Samasta - next door has a few shops and eateries, Gaya ice cream is soooo good and we had our nails done for a good price (250k for gels). There is a free/donation Barong dance twice each evening worth watching and they got our kids up to dance with them. Nearby - There is a walkway to get to the beach and although the sunset is nice, the beach itself is full of rubbish and dogs and we cut our feet even with sandals. Very local outside of the hotel and too busy to take kids walking on the roads but easy to fetch a car. Overall Movenpick is a great place to stay if you plan on hanging out at a resort for a few days and just perfect for families with kids.

It was a horrible experience ad such a waste of holiday and premium price paid for staying here. Just to mention a few notes: 1. Terrible customer service, rude and unresponsive staff while checking in and also during the stay. 2. My 9 yo injured by glass in the pool totally not acceptable which ruined our entire holiday 3. Breakfast buffet was a disaster with cold food, not many options and useless customer service was a total cherry on the top

The housekeeping was great. Although the staff were polite, they in many cases don’t provide 5 star service. Like trying to seat us at a dirty table that needs cleaning for breakfast with 2 young kids whilst there are many empty tables available. The pool needs more regular cleaning, there is so many leaves, plants and flowers that make the water murky. Great experiences became inconvenient. For example the chocolate happy hour is amazing, although ordering a chocolate milk shake takes about 20 minutes to receive, in the meantime my 6 year old daughter wanted water. I was told there was no water available. Which establishment denies water to a 6 year old?

The property itself is OK, although the facilities seem better on paper than they actually are. The biggest challenge though is poor management. Some examples: - Check-in took more than an hour. Room not available even at 6:00 pm which is 3 hrs after the check in time. - we had booked 6 rooms. It is reasonable to assume that the hotel would be able to atleast allocate them near each other. Wasn't the case. The hotel thought it would be fine for parents and kids to stay in non-adjacent rooms. This despite a prior request for connecting rooms. - Ham and cheese sandwich at the main restaurant 'ran out'. Not sure what that even means. Next morning at the breakfast, butter 'sold out'. - while staff was courteous and friendly, they are clearly not trained properly thus creating a very uneven service experience. - No activity is available unless you book 24 hrs in advance. Hard to have a holiday that way. - There were billing and charging errors and check-out took another 45 mins. - When we escalated the various issues, the duty manager did address some of those and throw in some perks, however, some of the issues are structural and the management would be well-advised to fix them at the root. - regards theproperty itself, it's a smallish property with only 1 restaurant, not too many activities/facilities and the beach is a bit underwhelming. Food quality was middling. On the plus side, the rooms are decent, the pool is good. We would not be back at Movenpick any time soon.

My family of 4 ( husband, toddler and an 8 month old baby) stayed from Oct. 26 to Nov 7th in total. We extended our trip an extra four days becuase my son was sick but also becuase we found every comfort at Movenpik. Beginning with the staff; the entire management team especially, have treated us not only like royalties, but like family. Our family were very happy at the hotel for the very beautiful surroundings, the room and the comfort of amazing bed linens. But what made our experience at Movenpik beyond amazing were the staff. The care, the attentativeness, and the affection my children received blew us away. Especially when my 8 month old was sick, Mr. Tolah from the management team helped us arrange for a doctor to our room so that my son can be seen without having to leave the comforts of the hotel while he was unwell. They gave us the privilege to contact the mangement team directly any time day/night when we needed help. Our stay included breakfast but due to my son's condition we couldn't all go to the restaurant so we would have missed breakfast each day. However, Mr. Rain in management offered to have in-room dinning bring us breakfast each day until our son recovered. He's done so so that we wouldn't have to miss breakfast and lose out. Again becuase of my son's condition, it was necessary to isolate the children. Mr. Rain once again came to our aid and offered us room upgrades so that our children can have separation. Unfortunately, that didn't work for us so

The hotel is good but the price they put in my opinion way too expensive. I booked the hotel because it looked child friendly for my toddler son. Around swimming pool has everything you need for kids they have nice kids swimming area playground and the staff also very nice. Other then that the hotel is bit outdated and the staff not really nice to local as Indonesian guest they only nice to expatriate which is we also pay same price like them. The breakfast was ok but not amazing compare other five stars hotel in Bali to go to the beach you need o walk like 5 minute from the hotel and it’s actually public beach no bed or anything I need to bring ur own towel from the hotel overal the hotel is good but not great

Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for our 5 year old who practically lived in the pool. Staff were excellent. Location was great, not too far from the airport, so quick transfer after landing, and not a far drive for shopping in Kuta and Seminyak.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr sauber und sehr schön angelegt. Am Pool gibt es ausreichend Liegen. Leider werden die Liegen schon früh morgens mit Handtüchern reserviert und dann aber oft den ganzen Tag nicht genutzt. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen (sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen) sehr lecker mit einem Riesen Angebot. Direkt beim Hotel sind ein paar Restaurants und Geschäfte angesiedelt. Darüber hinaus ist die Umgebung allerdings nicht sehenswert. Der Strand ist fussläufig zu erreichen. Allerdings ist dieser zum Großteil sehr dreckig. Bei Ebbe liegt überall Müll und Plastik herum. Gerade im Bereich der Restaurants. Nicht sehr einladend. Trotzdem kann man von hier einen tollen Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Ist man allerdings länger als 19 Uhr am Strand, kommt man durch den Hintereingang zum Hotel nicht mehr rein. Man muss sich dann irgendwie seinen Weg zurück suchen. Am besten Taschenlampe mitnehmen. Die gibt es aber im Kleiderschrank im Zimmer. Insgesamt waren wir mit dem Hotel aber sehr zufrieden.

Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for our 5 year old who practically lived in the pool. Staff were excellent. Location was great, not too far from the airport, so quick transfer after landing, and not a far drive for shopping in Kuta and Seminyak.

The property itself is OK, although the facilities seem better on paper than they actually are. The biggest challenge though is poor management. Some examples: - Check-in took more than an hour. Room not available even at 6:00 pm which is 3 hrs after the check in time. - we had booked 6 rooms. It is reasonable to assume that the hotel would be able to atleast allocate them near each other. Wasn't the case. The hotel thought it would be fine for parents and kids to stay in non-adjacent rooms. This despite a prior request for connecting rooms. - Ham and cheese sandwich at the main restaurant 'ran out'. Not sure what that even means. Next morning at the breakfast, butter 'sold out'. - while staff was courteous and friendly, they are clearly not trained properly thus creating a very uneven service experience. - No activity is available unless you book 24 hrs in advance. Hard to have a holiday that way. - There were billing and charging errors and check-out took another 45 mins. - When we escalated the various issues, the duty manager did address some of those and throw in some perks, however, some of the issues are structural and the management would be well-advised to fix them at the root. - regards theproperty itself, it's a smallish property with only 1 restaurant, not too many activities/facilities and the beach is a bit underwhelming. Food quality was middling. On the plus side, the rooms are decent, the pool is good. We would not be back at Movenpick any time soon.

We visited Movenpick Jimbaran in Febraury 2024 and were very impressed with the staff, the spa, the choices of food, the kids club, proximity to the beach (3-5 mins walk) and quality of the resort. We have stayed at many hotels around the world and this would be up there with one of our favourites. Before going, we researched the kids clubs for our 3.5 year old. She thoroughly enjoyed this and the team looked after her well. We always stayed with her, due to her age, but she was more than happy playing with the other kids and loved all the great activities they had planned. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the spa (as did I) and the team decorated the rooms nicely for Valentines Day and on our arrival. The kids menus at the restaurants were also great - plenty of options for our picky child. The adults food options and beverage list was exceptional too. Lovely pools and 2 water parks for the kids - our daughter enjoyed both. Overall, a great stay. We have also stayed at their resort in Maldives. Both are great. Will be back.

Fantastic stay for families - well set up, attentive staff, incredible buffet breakfast and facilities for kids with kids club, pools and slides. Resort prices for food but all delicious and plenty of happy hour/specials to take advantage of. Chocolate hour was an insane full buffet with cakes, chocolate fountain, popcorn, fruit, candy floss and more. Our daughter had her birthday while we were here and the staff set up the most amazing room decoration and cake for her, all complimentary. Samasta - next door has a few shops and eateries, Gaya ice cream is soooo good and we had our nails done for a good price (250k for gels). There is a free/donation Barong dance twice each evening worth watching and they got our kids up to dance with them. Nearby - There is a walkway to get to the beach and although the sunset is nice, the beach itself is full of rubbish and dogs and we cut our feet even with sandals. Very local outside of the hotel and too busy to take kids walking on the roads but easy to fetch a car. Overall Movenpick is a great place to stay if you plan on hanging out at a resort for a few days and just perfect for families with kids.

3歳の子供と大人2人で泊まりました。プールが広く大満足です。プールサイドのガゼボは$20でレンタルできますが前日にプールにあるカウンターで予約が必要。当日だといっぱいで借りられません。朝食も色々あって美味しいです。子供は「たこ焼き」と書かれた提灯の所にあった「たい焼き」が気に入ってました。中身はなくて横に置かれたハチミツやチョコをトッピングして食べるスタイルのたい焼き。レストランの中に小さなキッズコーナーがあって食べ飽きた子供がそこで他の子供と一緒にビデオを見てました。なので、キッズコーナーの近くの席に座ると大人はゆっくりご飯を食べながらキッズコーナーの子供も見れていいかもです。スタッフの皆さん、とても親切にして頂きました。子供連れには最高のホテルです

It was a horrible experience ad such a waste of holiday and premium price paid for staying here. Just to mention a few notes: 1. Terrible customer service, rude and unresponsive staff while checking in and also during the stay. 2. My 9 yo injured by glass in the pool totally not acceptable which ruined our entire holiday 3. Breakfast buffet was a disaster with cold food, not many options and useless customer service was a total cherry on the top
