The setting for the pub is lovely the staff are brilliant and very friendly. The cabin we stayed in is a bit basic the toilet and shower facilities could do with a good clean and paint. The breakfast was amazing

Freshly cooked food to order, lovely staff, very clean and lovely room. Only downside to our room was creaky floors which I presume are to do with the age of the building

The staff were very friendly. The hut is nice but the bed was absolutely awful. Very low down. So not great for anyone with mobility issues. Its the mattress though. Absolutely awful. We barely slept. So thin you feel every spring. Cannot stress enough how uncomfortable it was. The shower and toilet are outside. Only one of each. Shared between all the huts. The toilet is very small. Didnt try the shower as it looked pretty bad and was very cold. You have to walk outside to use toilet or shower. So not ideal in the rain. Stairs down from the hut very slippery in the wet. Again. I would warn anyone with mobility issues not to book.We didnt stay for breakfast. Was so fed up and in pain from the bed that we got up, got ready. And left. The lady behind the bar was really lovely though and very helpful on check in. When we were in the bar it was friendly and calm, out in the huts we heard no noise from the bar in the night. There is a good tv with plenty of freeview channels. A kettle and tea and coffee facilities provided. The blinds on the huts do allow some visibility from the outside which isnt great. can now see from other reviews that the bed etc has been an on going issue and the owners havent done anything about it. Even a thick mattress topper would be something but zero has been done. It ruined the experience altogether and the lack of comfort and sleep made us feel completely ripped off. Changed our initial positive feelings on the stay altogether. A real shame.
