Lovely beer garden. Comfy bed. Great shower. Excellent food. Some very friendly and efficient staff. Nice tea and coffee. Plenty of soaps for bath and shower. Towels had seen better days with one torn and frayed. Coat hangers a mixture with one broken.

We had a great stay at The Fleece Inn. The setting is peaceful and charming, and we really appreciated the Inn’s character. Spotless room, really comfy bed, great shower and bath with plenty hot water. Bar was busy but a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious, breakfast was excellent. Staff very polite and helpful, all round and excellent little pub with rooms, we will be back.

The Fleece Inn surpassed all my expectations! If I could give it 6 stars for comfort I would. A large and spacious room with a really comfy, huge bed, and large bathroom with a separate walk in shower as well as a large bath and heated floor. The food was excellent with a really nice choice and 4 different real ales on draught to choose from. I would definitely stay here again.

It was an amazing night away with Staff Member Mark showing us to our room personally after advising us how to leave the building and return if we needed to go out during the time we were staying. The whole Inn had a very nice feel to it, welcoming and comfortable and very very clean, thanks Lesley and colleagues too. We had a perfect home made evening meal sat outside the first evening and the cooked breakfast was amazing and very filling. We would definitely recommend this establishment to friends and family. Thank you all very much.

Luxurious hotel. My room was lovely and had the biggest bath! The bed was very comfy and nice little welcome touches. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty, with lots of options and cater for dietary requirements. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was beautiful, really luxurious and tastefully decorated. Food and welcome were also great, lovely garden with playhouse etc, and our stay would have been 5 stars if it hadn't been just so very hot in the room, unbearably so, and our dog took ages to settle and we didnt get a good night's sleep... which I can't blame the Fleece Inn for, except if there was anything else they could have done to keep the room cooler. Other than that I'd definitely recommend it!

It was a last minute decision on our part to come here due to change in travel plans. Had to make a choice very quickly and we were so fortunate. Staff first class and an excellent evening meal. We chose the fleece for its location, near Heysham port for our onward journey, but it is going to be a place we return to on other occasions. It was a great stay. The room ws spacious with a large comfortable bed. The breakfast was good. The food during the evening meal was delicious using local produce like Garstang blue cheese, locally smoked fish etc. It has local community evenings too.

One night stop and very relaxing stay. Restaurant closed on a Monday so couldnt try food but breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful with Dan offering great service. Last drinks are 9 o clock but that's great as other pub/hotel arrangements can be noisy if you have gone to bed a bit early.

My wife and I stayed one night, to break our long journey. A lovely country hotel with a busy bar and delicious food.Breakfast was lovely with plenty variety and any requests from guests outwith the menu wasn’t a problem.

We had a great stay at The Fleece Inn. The setting is peaceful and charming, and we really appreciated the Inn’s character. We enjoyed spending time at the pub and were especially impressed by the vegan dinner options. The staff were welcoming and flexible, putting together a delicious, well-presented, and affordable meal. The Inn is fully dog-friendly, and we would definitely recommend it. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Spotless room, really comfy bed, great shower and bath with plenty hot water. Bar was busy but a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious, breakfast was excellent. Staff very polite and helpful, all round and excellent little pub with rooms, we will be back.

A beautiful place. The staff are amazing, the rooms are clean, big and soooo comfortable and the food is stunning. Every member of staff makes you feel welcome and like you’re part of the family. Thank you. We’ll see you again next year.

Beautiful room , spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. The hot spell of weather meant that the room very warm ( the AC unit in the room was sadly not effective at all) so we were glad we’d taken our own room fan which helped to cool the room a bit for sleeping. Staff were very friendly and helpful and food including breakfast was very good. The hotel is situated in the countryside with its own car park and a 15 minute drive to Lancaster.
