I had a lovely one night stay here and Gareth was so helpful. My room and the shared kitchen were well maintained and clean. The breakfast was healthy and plentiful. The only downside was the height of the desk in the bedroom (or the height of the chairs) - it was not feasible to be used as a dining table. I'd definitely recommend this accommodation - access to the main high street & takeaways was less than a 5 minute walk.

Nice guesthouse in a good spot (a street away from the main road). The room was lovely - very clean. Everything is done remotely via email - checkin codes etc. - and the information shared about access, parking, wi-fi etc. was all clear and given in plenty of time. There is a breakfast included in a self-service kitchen, but I didn't have it so can't comment. I did, however, find the kitchen useful as I was able to go out and buy a takeaway in the evening, then eat it in my room using plates and cutlery from the kitchen. A nice place to stay.

This should not be listed as a guest house - it's more like a back-packers hostel. No staff were in evidence, our door key was on the wrong hook (we decided to try it anyway so got in) and no-one answered the phone number on the keyring. The floor covering is linoleum, the blind at the window didn't work. Breakfast was serve it yourself from a small kitchen, quite limited, and you do your own washing up. The toaster didn't work. You eat in your room, with no table, just a couple of uncomfortable chairs. On the plus side, it was clean, had a kettle, hairdryer, cups etc and the shower worked okay. Just list it honestly for what it is and don't build a very limited, do it yourself breakfast up to sound like something it isn't.

Host complained that no phone number provided by hotel.com meant couldn’t contact us with arrival details. All doors in property had poor adjustment of closing device meaning slamming doors were very annoying. Mountain View from window available if stood on chair. Small double bed in small room
