The 3 Millstones Inn

Our 2nd visit to this hotel. It was wonderful to see a hotel that is kept so well. We have revisited many hotels, only to find them worn and run down on our return. Not this place. The rooms are clean, well maintained, modern and very comfortable. The bed linens are crisp and good quality and the bathrooms have the most amazing walk in showers. This was only a flying visit this time so we didn’t eat an evening meal in the restaurant, but the breakfast was once again top quality and so quickly prepared. The staff are so friendly and chatty and make you feel at home, and even the dog got plenty of attention. Well done to The Three Millstones for maintaining such good standards. We will return soon.

We loved our short stay at the 3 Millstones Inn, where we were warmly welcomed by Stacey and the team, and very well fed by Matthew, the excellent and friendly chef, for our evening meal and a great breakfast. We therefore fully recommend the restaurant, a great pint of cask, the ensuite room was wonderful, with a great shower, views across to Pendle, and on leaving the room to walk the dog at 7.30am, my Merlin Bird ID app recorded and revealed as many as 10 different birds singing for us, from a song thrush, to a wren, a blue tit to a robin, within three minutes. The babbling brook nearby, was a lovely sound too. Within walking distance of lovely Waddington, and a short drive to charming Clitheroe, we wholeheartedly recommend anyone to stay at 3 Millstones.
