Lovely gentleman that owes the lodge however there was a lack of communication to my email that I had sent a month before our stay no one had got back to us, they did let us have a late check out by 2pm for £10 rather than £15 as I raised the matter of no one getting back to us. Regarding the room it was quite cold at night and there was a small heater to use but still was quite cold, there is not any hangers to hang your coats/dresses/suit up there was just some shelves, the tea facilities are in the hallway when you enter the property so you would have to go out there to make tea if you fancied one. Wish our room was slightly bigger where a table and chair could have fitted. One thing I would like to also mention is that the reception was very bad and the property was not sign posted so we missed it first and had to turn back. It’s very dark area hard to find and the road to the property had a lot of pot holes so drive carefully.

It was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything. The room we had was amazing it had a rustic style look
