The view is really fantastic. The vibe is very relaxing and the general area is a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the hobbit hut with valley view. The hut was very nice. It is actually pretty close to the castle so we could hear all the sounds coming out of the kitchen. It is quiet around 10.15 pm so we didn’t mind. But if you want to sleep early then the sounds can keep you awake. The pans in the general kitchen are not in a good state. I wouldn’t cook my meal in it.

Everything was amazing except for the hot water supply in the hobbit house. When the issue was adressed to the reception the response was to keep it open and it will eventually come. I waited for 10 minutes with extremely cold water.

What a cool place! It’s part hostel and part hotel. We stayed in one of the hobbit homes and it was beyond cool. Everything was new and updated inside the home. It was a very nice, but casual environment around the hotel. It had a great vibe of young and older adults. The dining area is large and a great hangout for all visitors. The views of the mountains were fantastic. The staff was very helpful and even had a laundry service for us. The food was great. It was a very fun and unique place to stay. We really enjoyed it and would book there again.

Bambuda is fantastic. The location is excellent with breathtaking views of the mountains & countryside. The food in the restaurant is excellent & there are numerous options at all times of the day. The service at the front desk & at the restaurant are prefect: helpful, friendly, & enthusiastic. Taxi rides from the hotel to a variety of destinations are easy to get & inexpensive. I had a cabin with a balcony. It felt like a cabin in the mountains but with strong hot water in the shower.

I will be here for 9 days total because my plans keep changing! I have had to add days on repeatedly and they do their best to keep me in the same or similar location. Then I got sick and they isolated me and took care of me like family. This has felt like a home away from home… not a vacation but I’m safe and well cared for!
