Great location, the breakfast buffet was very tasty with a great variety of options. The pool was large and clean. The shower had great water pressure. There was a party the last night downstairs that was noisy way until the morning. It was distracting on the 4th floor. Also, there was no hot water at 4:00 am when we had to get ready for our flight.

Always get the ocean view rooms. Resonably priced and includes full buffet breakfast. Self parking free, or valet for $5. Happt hour spans hours into the evening. Dinner sandwiches, burgers,/etc are very good and ceviche is fantastic. Most enjoy sitting on outside patio vs inside which is not as nice and lacks ocean views and breeze.

My stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations! The service was impeccable. The buffet breakfast had several options ranging from a variety of cereals, cheeses, yogurts, pancakes and local dishes. My favorite was the selection of natural juices. Simply delicious! The room was clean and spacious. The pool was clean and absolutely wonderful, surrounded by lush greenery. The location, superb. There is a gift store and hairdressing salon on the property. Very reasonably priced. I recommend visiting this property if you plan on visiting Panama.

Clean hotel in the city of Panama with beautiful panoramic views. The staff were friendly and accommodating with any needs. The hotel also offers a variety of different breakfast options each day. The hotel room was dirty. The cleaning staff did not ever change the face towel. She only added more towels after I left a tip. The toilet seat was broken an I almost fell twice and had to have repairman come and fix it twice. Not a great experience, I do not recommend

The cleanliness of the hotel rooms was extremely poor. The bed sheets were stained and torn. Everything was covered in dust, and if you touched anything, you would end up covered in dust as well. The windows didn’t close properly, and since the air conditioning units were placed directly in front of the windows, the noise in the room was comparable to a tractor running. The internet in both the rooms and the reception area didn’t work at all, so I can confidently say there was no Wi-Fi at the hotel. While there were different options at breakfast, the quality was very low. During my 4-day stay, I only managed to eat oatmeal and fruit twice. The gym was outdated and barely functional. The pool was filthy, and there was no proper water circulation. Due to the Wi-Fi issues, I stayed in two different rooms, and in both, the hot water took a very long time to start running. If you are looking for even a minimal level of quality, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The ratings definitely don’t reflect the reality. The only positive aspect was the friendly and helpful staff, although they were aware that there wasn’t much they could do. Overall, this hotel is absolutely not worth the price charged.

Great location! Convenient to everything! Hotel was clean and had daily housekeeping. Our room was very comfortable and the waterfall shower-head was amazing! Pool was very nice! There were ample chairs and umbrellas as well as bar service. We did not use the spa or gym but they looked nice. The breakfast buffet offered several options and everything we had was delicious. I would definitely stay here again!

The rooms have been upgraded and are large, clean, and with a spectacular view of the bay. The location is excellent at the beginning (or end depending on your view point) of the cinta costera. Full breakfast with so many delicious things to choose from, some typical Panamanian food and some American choices. All of them deliciously prepared.

One of the most gorgeous views I’ve ever had from a hotel room was of the bay from our eighth floor room. It was so gorgeous. I hated to leave the room! The room itself was very nice. Lots of space extremely clean, beautiful accommodations. I think the only flaw was Number one no microwave number two no Netflix or other apps on the television it was not a smart TV.

Pessima recepção, nos deram a chave de um quarto já ocupado (constrangedor!). Todos os dias só colocavam 2 toalhas no quarto, éramos 3 pessoas. This is a great place to stay if you’re exploring the city, as it’s right in the heart of everything. We were able to take a slow walk from the hotel to Casco Viejo in under an hour. The view from our room was second to none. The room was clean and very modern, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing! The staff was very friendly, and most of them spoke English. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Panama City. The only downside was that our room wasn’t ready in time for check-in.

Day 1 when we checked in - they had given our room to another person. They had us go to another hotel and no compensation or apologies for the inconvenience. We had to pay for the taxi from the other hotel back to the original hotel. Very disappointing and stressful.

Horrible check in, I was denied the sparkling bottle of wine that my booking had confirmed. Even when i showed my booking the reception denied it. I complained to Hotels.com, they tried to talk with the receptionist but was denied again. The room we got was 14 degrees when we got it, i had booked a junior Suite, they offered a smaller room after one night with only 17 degrees in the room. Not acceptable. After another complaint they offered a « upgrade « but we didn’t get two twinbeds as booked. This room was also cold, only 17 degrees. We had doors open just to heat up the room, but because of the humidity everything became wet and uncomfortable. The breakfast is okay, but the luve music is way to loud for anyone to talk under breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, the location is good, but that’s it.

Location, location, location! Simply the best location for that area being that you can walk to Cinta Costera and Ave de Balboa. Literally just steps down from the hotel make a left, walk a few steps and you are at Cinta Costera to enjoy the beautiful walkway and jogging or running path. I even walked down to the fish market way down at the other end. I could’ve rented a bike and rode all the way to the Amador Causeway. On Sundays, they close off the avenue de Balboa from 6 am to 12 noon and make it a bike path only. You can rent a bike for five US and one dollar for the helmet for all those hours. And ride along all the way up the Amador Causeway and back. The hotel food is very affordable and tasty. You do have to wait sometimes for the food because they’re making it fresh but if you are patient, you will get what you want. Our sever for most of the night was Neftali. Very nice young man. We also met Tomas who is the photo person. He greeted us so nicely and gave us good tips on what to do.

Plaza Paitilla was a great central location for us between Panama City and the suburbs. I enjoyed a run along Costa Sur right from outside the hotel along a pedestrian friendly path, had a tasty buffet breakfast featuring freshly cooked eggs and native fruit juices. The rooms were comfortable w a wonderful view of port. The curved windows add an extra wow. Rates were reasonable for March.

Having never been to Panama City before, I was super happy with this location. It is on the water, and at the start of a waterfront park with a path that leads to all the cultural attractions of Panama City, including the hisyoric Old Town (Casco Antigua) and the Amador Causeway. There is even a bike rental conpany in the hotel parking lot, so you can hop right on the path whenever you feel like it. The bike rental company also has a second location on the Amador Causeway (near the Biomuseo), and you can return at that location as well. The hotel itself sits on a spacious plot, with the pool and a separate terrace overlooking the bay, with additional outdoor options overlooking the water. The gym overlooks the pool. Our room came with free breakfast. Although we couldnt eat anything, the spread was very generous. The staff was very helpful amd accommodating (amd we were able to borrow an umbrella at the front desk, a classy touch which is quite helpful in the tropics)! The rooms are fully renovated and modern (we loved the electronic curtains!) and the bathrooms were very comfortable (great water pressure). All the amenities are on the lobby level, which has not been renovated unfortunately. The neighborhood has ample restaurants and shopping within walking distance. I was originally planning on staying at the Waldorf Astoria, but was happy that I made the switch!

This hotel is central to everything which is a plus and the view from the bedroom amazing .However, the staff was unfriendly there was no microwave in the rooms so we had to ask at the restaurant which was an inconvenience. Breakfast choices were plenty but not necessarily good. Dinner was not worth the price ingredients were not always fresh and the food lacked flavor.
