The level of service from all employees is disappointing. From the front desk to the attention at restaurant. The Parking is a 15 minutes drive and the Hotel asks you to pay a Taxi to get there. Be aware that there is no way to stop by car in front of the Hotel or nearby.

This was my second stay at this hotel and the experience was exceptional again! Friendly staff, VERY quiet, delicious food at the restaurant and cafe, immaculate grounds, and walkable. Valet parking was convenient, quick, and effortless. My only complaint was that we were not made aware that the pool would be closed for maintenance on our second day until the morning of. We were looking forward to spending time at the pool/rooftop, so if we had known on our first day that it was going to be closed, we would have planned accordingly on our first day.

Overall wonderful experience, the hotel is truly the best in the city. Massive highlight was the pool and rooftop bar, all of the cocktails were delicious and well crafted. The lobby coffee counter had some of the best pastries and espresso I’ve had in Mexico. Can’t wait to return

This one of the best hotels anywhere. Extraordinary remodel of very old mansion. Rooftop pool and bar not to be missed! Rooms with high ceilings and huge windows that open onto patios and views. Lovely patio for breakfast. Go!

This property exceeded our expectations. The beautifully lit outside steps from your rooms to the five star restaurant was magical. There is a rooftop bar and very romantic swimming pool where you can see the entire city and enjoy a glass of wine. Superb! Highly recommend Guanjuato and this exquisite hotel tucked away in the cty.

El hotel es hermoso y la terraza y la comida son muy buenos. Sin embargo, a nuestra llegada entregamos nuestro carro al servicio de Valet Parking, al cuál les pedí un ticket que sirviera como comprobante de mi estacionamiento, el cual nunca me entregaron. El día de nuestro check out, a pesar de que anuncié con dos horas de anticipación que trajeran el carro, debimos esperar cerca de 30 minutos, y cuando nos anunciaron que nuestro carro ya estaba llegando, nos llevamos dos sorpresas: 1. El personal del hotel sacó un juego de maletas y se prepararon para subirlas al carro, pero no eran nuestras maletas, (tampoco nos dieron un ticket de control para que en el guarda-equipaje supiera reconocerlo). Entonces tuve que ir con ellos hasta el guarda equipajes e identificar personalmente nuestras maletas de 4 personas. 2. cuando llegó el carro, no era el nuestro. Entonces nos dijeron que para evitar más demoras, nos podían enviar al estacionamiento en un Taxi. Cuando por fin consiguieron uno, nos dimos cuenta que le habían dado mal las indicaciones al conductor del taxi, así que llegamos a un lugar equivocado. teniendo en cuenta que el personal del hotel hace esto a diario, sorprende como algo tan simple, puede salir tan mal. Es necesario que tengan mayor control sobre el valet parking y el manejo del equipaje. Lastimosamente, es un hermoso lugar al que no recomiendo ir, para evitar malos entendidos.

Unique property with 12 spacious rooms excellently restored and appointed. Rooms have robes, slippers, coffee, tea and bottled water. Be careful with some of the rooms with uneven floors and small steps. Plenty of hot water, however, the Internet is weak (25-39 Mbps) especially in hallways. Pool and roof top bar areas present a wonderful view of the city. Restaurant charming, yet pricey. Many stairs, although the elevator helps out for the upper rooms, pool and roof top bar. Location is close to the action, yet a street away from the noise. One negative is that hotel does not have parking so if you have a car it has to be parked at a distant lot.

The service upon arrival to park our car was great. Our room was lovely but being close to the restaurant is was amazingly loud; sometimes it seemed like the conversations were in our room.... The coffee shop closes very early in the day. We wanted a coffee in the early-mid-afternoon and it was closed although you there was no sign saying they were closed.... quite odd, especially in a town that has a very big coffee culture. The view from the rooftop bar was amazing. And our room was beautiful

We stayed in Rooms 1 and 2. The noise level was very high, it died down around mid night only to start at 7 am. Staff members were talking right under our window at room 2. The noise of tables moving dishes clapping. We hardly slept Saturday night.

The room we got was simply incredible. Panoramic view of the entire city. Staff was friendly and service was great!

The front desk people were excellent, welcoming and very helpful. The pool is a lovely spot to relax and hang out. The staff there was very good. The restaurant not so much. Our waiter didn’t listen and kept forgetting things.

Service was spectacular

nice property. the stairs at this place are no joke at the high altitude. The service was lacking. This is not a cheap place. The guy at the door did not help my girlfriend with luggage. Just not what I expected. Stayed a block away at an other place also. Way much better service. Upstairs was not ready either. needed some work.

El servicio del hotel en el bar fue malo. La empleada fue descortés, áspera y malencarada. El servicio de desayuno fue bastante regular y el check out muy infeciente en la facturación, tardado, se equivocaron con el cobro. Tres personas en la caja haciéndose bolas. Tuvimos que pedir tres veces que fueran por el equipaje.

Todo muy bien... solo que los tiempos del restaurante son muy muy lentos. Es la primera vez que tengo el gusto de alojarme ahí pero es la 3era ocasión en que visito el restaurante, insisto, todo muy bien menos la "rapidez" del servicio ahí. Incluso, conociendo ello, hicimos la petición del desayuno desde un día antes, nos tomaron la orden y, para no hacer el cuento largo, no estuvieron listos los alimentos tal cual los solicitamos... y eso que era solo un chocolate y un pan con guayaba. Tengan presente que hay quienes vamos a esa maravillosa ciudad por asuntos profesionales o negocios y nuestros tiempos no son tan holgados. Un detalle adicional, a quien me llevó la maleta a la habitación le di una propina de 100 pesos, le entregué un billete de 200 y quedó en darme el cambio de inmediato pero nunca lo hizo. No es el dinero pero lo comento para que tengan cuidado con ese tipo de personas quienes, si roban cien pesos, pueden robar algo más. Creo que su nombre es Carlos. Espero visitarlos de nuevo pronto.
