My overall stay was great! The hotel staff were hospitable and kind. The location was great. I wish my room had a fridge and I wish there was warmer water for the shower. I also wish there was a restaurant in the hotel. Other than that, the hotel is beautiful, traditional style and located very close to the beach, food, and nearby festivities. I would give it an 8/10

The room looks the same like on the picture, with very local vibe. The stuff was very friendly and welcome. There is restaurant downstairs with lot of options which is very convenient. Stuff is also very friendly. The view from balcony was nice as well. Btw, for Shabbat keeping people there is a key to the room.

We only stayed a couple of nights but loved staying here. Very clean, friendly staff, close to 5th avenue and the beach, and the AC was awesome after a hot summer day outdoors. We will definitely be back - special shoutout to Beto the manager - he went above and beyond for us.

Beautiful hotel! Short walk from the ADO station. Very clean and charming. Water coolers on every floor. Very warm reception who answered our questions! Amazing breakfast with such a kind and attentive staff. We needed a last minute booking for one night but we want to come back for longer! Thank you so much!!!

We loved our stay at this hotel. The location was great, where it's right on 5th avenue. The room was perfect for 3 adults. The 247 concierge was great and super helpful. The balcony overlooked the intersection where there was constant action; street performers, mariachi's, braiding, graffiti and painting artists. The restaurant below was also a hot spot for good food. The walk to the beach was exactly 3 minutes to a prime spot in Playa Del Carmen. We would certainly recommend this property and would certainly love to stay there again.

The service was good no complains there. There were roaches in our room. Very disappointed because this hotel had 4.5 stars when I looked it up. This is definitely not a family friendly area. It is loud outside lots of noise, people music till passed 3am.

It’s a mold smell in the property. Service is excellent and the bar downstairs is nice. The customer service is very good. Due to the conditions of the property, I won’t stay again. It’s also a perfect location.

The staff was very nice. Room was clean. Close to everything. Lots of taxi nearby. Very lively area so be prepared to hear music, trucks and partying all hours of the night. Very close to beach and ferry.

This is a great little hotel just off of Avenida Quinta and a block from the beach. Alberto and Leticia at the front desk will take great care of you! This will be our place to stay whenever we visit PDC!

This hotel has a very good restaurant. The chicken fajitas are the best. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We really like to stay in El Cielo hotel.

The room looks the same like on the picture, with very local vibe. The stuff was very friendly and welcome. There is restaurant downstairs with lot of options which is very convenient. Stuff is also very friendly. The view from balcony was nice as well. Btw, for Shabbat keeping people there is a key to the room.

Beautiful hotel! Short walk from the ADO station. Very clean and charming. Water coolers on every floor. Very warm reception who answered our questions! Amazing breakfast with such a kind and attentive staff. We needed a last minute booking for one night but we want to come back for longer! Thank you so much!!!

We loved our stay at this hotel. The location was great, where it's right on 5th avenue. The room was perfect for 3 adults. The 247 concierge was great and super helpful. The balcony overlooked the intersection where there was constant action; street performers, mariachi's, braiding, graffiti and painting artists. The restaurant below was also a hot spot for good food. The walk to the beach was exactly 3 minutes to a prime spot in Playa Del Carmen. We would certainly recommend this property and would certainly love to stay there again.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Cielo in Playa del Carmen. Overall, it’s an excellent option if you want an unbeatable location close to everything. Good Unbeatable Location: Extremely close to the ADO bus terminal, just a short walk to the beach, steps away from Parque Fundadores, and right on the famous Quinta Avenida. Charming Style: The hotel features a lovely rustic design that captures a classic, traditional Mexican aesthetic. Cleanliness: Everything in the room and property was kept very clean throughout our stay. Bad Lack of Room Amenities: There was no mini-fridge in the room. Storage & Furniture Limits: It lacks basic furniture like tables, chairs, or proper luggage racks to set down bags and personal belongings. Dated Elements: While the traditional style is part of the hotel’s charm, some fixtures and furnishings feel a bit too old rather than rustic. Overall Verdict: A solid choice for travelers prioritizing location, walkability, and authentic Mexican atmosphere over modern room conveniences.

Excelente servicio, hotel cerca de la playa, portal maya, coco bongo, 5ta avenida, y tiendas oxxo y 7 seven eleven, personal muy atento y servicial. 100% recomendado, habitación limpia, servicio de toallas tanto para la habitación como de playa al 100%. Fue una experiencia muy agradable. pero se recomienda ir en temporada donde tengan controlado la acumulación de sargazo.
