I enjoyed my stay. Wish both buildings had a pool and gym but they are right across the street from each other incase you are in building 2 since the amenities are in building 1. Staff were friendly. Great location, right next to the beach and food options.

The location is great but the hotel itself is old. Parking was a disaster. We arrived back after dinner and there were no spots left. We saw other people trying to find spots as well. We wouldn’t stay there again.

The Atlantic Beach Hotel has everything you could want for a stay in Newport: comfy beds, super clean, a pool with a deck, across from the beach, a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, proximity to the coastal walk, and an easy drive to the Gilded Age mansions. We hated to leave!

Our family had an excellent stay here. The location cannot be beat - this hotel is just steps from the public beach access, multiple restaurants, the bus stop (free service to downtown Newport during the summer), and a short walk to the beautiful Cliff Walk. The hotel is well maintained and clean, with an indoor pool and sun deck with views of the sea. Highly recommend.

The room itself was great for our family of 4, with two separate rooms each having a true king sized bed. The property was old, but in decent condition, and was acceptably clean. EV charging is always important for us, and those provided functioned well.

Terrific Newport location! Just on the other side of Easton Beach from Newport, without being in the more crowded and pricier section of Newport. Plus, right next to beach access and 10 feet from Flo's Clam Shack, with other restaurants nearby. Great location also, if you run; terrific paths along waterside neighborhoods and to the other Newport beaches. Good size room. Love having fridge and microwave. Big open lounge with tables for families to eat at are helpful in the 2nd story lounge, plus complimentary coffee there. Too bad they don't open the nice outside deck there. Easy free parking, but they will add on $26 of extra daily fees. They will notify you of those, AFTER you book, so count those in when reserving. Would gladly stay again.

The property was good. It was within walking distance of the beach and the beginning of the cliff walk and a quick drive to the shops in Downtown Newport. There were really no amenities. Their was no lobby restroom to change for the beach and the indoor pool was very tiny. There was a restaurant but it was across the street behind the other building. We were not told about our VIP free drinks. The room and bathroom were clean and good sized with 2 wing chairs and a desk chair. The two king beds were good too. I really just wish there was a little more available at the hotel.

The fitness center doesn't have many equipment. They gave you the option to go to other gym at tennis hall of fame, however is not close to the hotel and in case you don't drive you need to take uber so is not convenient.

Didn’t know there were 2 buildings. We had a suite so we’re in building 2 our view is water but more like a swamp. The pool and outdoor deck are in building 1. But all are walkable. Kinda weird that the fire alarm went off after my partner took a hot shower

We found a bug within the room and were not able to be moved. We were not followed up with in the morning. There also seemed to be scratches along the floor in front of the bed. It was very conveniently located to get to Newport, but may have to splurge next time for a hotel without this problem and better facilities.

The room was outstanding. Large room with a partition between the double beds. Lots of space for luggage and spreading out. The view of the water was an added bonus. Hotel is close to the beach, the Cliff Walk, and downtown Newport is less than 2 miles away Only downside was that nobody came in to clean our room after the first night.

Need refund. Traveled with sister and husband and my child. Omg. Fake pictures. Nothing on the room. Not even to purchase. No light in the hallway where the mirror is. Broken. Luck. Took 10 minutes to push the door to engage.bathtoom. Almost burned from the missing water lever mix. When close the bottom leaking all night. Nosiy. Beds. Hrroble. I always book om booking i gave it a try. Ice machine. Didnt work. I called them and they said sorry is broken go to the next building 1 i was on 2. Can i say more. Embarassing. Staff was nice. Poor people. Pool jad hair not clean.

Excellent location if you want to go to the beach but it is far from (approximately 2 miles) from Thames street where most restaurants and attractions are. Consider that during the season traffic is impossible and you’ll need to uber to and back. The hotel itself is basic and in ok condition. Some of the furniture in our room was in pretty bad shape. The bathroom was clean and nice size. Considering all this, it it’s grossly overpriced! Also, as a platinum member, I received no perks at all. 😒

The room was right near the elevator, and ice machine so it was very loud. The bed is very hard and the pillows were terrible. The floor was dirty especially the bathroom. Our TV cable was broken and needed someone to come repair it. Would not go back.

Hotel is just fine. It's a typical beach hotel. What we found is that on the 3rd floor our room was right by the elevator and there was so much noise coming from a mechanics room or something like that. The doors to the room also did not shut well and it seemed everyone else had the same problem so there was lots of door slamming going on regularly just to get the doors to shut. Parking was also not great.

We stayed in building 2, the double king suite - it was so spacious and well equipped - perfect for our family of 5 including 3 teenagers. We enjoyed breakfast at Tickets (the hotel restaurant which is located across the street). A few good casual dining options within a short walk. Had more of a condo feel than a hotel but the room itself was truly perfect for us. The location was also nicely situated for our itinerary, daughter orientation at URI and the rest of us spending time sightseeing / beach towns / Newport.

I had a great two days staying at the Atlantic Beach Hotel Newport. The check in was easy. The staff was beyond wonderful. Everything was so clean. It was quiet and convenient, located next to so many attractions and dining options. Just want to mention again how professional and helpful the staff were, housecleaning, front desk, everyone.

Great location and room was comfortable and clean, nice amenities and shower was great. The front desk staff need a crash course in customer service. Rude and appeared annoyed when we had a question. Upon checking in, our room door was ajar (?!?) and the key didn't work. After returning to front desk - no explanation or apology. Three separate visits to the front desk; all felt like they couldn't be bothered to help in anyway.

I was traveling to this hotel as my daughter had prom at St. George's. I had sprained my ankle prior to this trip. When I arrived at the first building I took my luggage in and up the elevator. I went to check in and the girl at the desk told me I needed to go to the other building. Not the end of the world but I requested help with getting my stuff back down the elevator and to the car, she said no. When she took my card to check me it she said my card was declined. I knew there was no way my card was declined and asked her to run it again, and again. She was rude and I said what am I supposed to do my other card is in the car? She said, cannot help you. At that point some man came up to the front desk and asked if there was a problem. I told him YES THERE IS A PROBLEM. He told the girl she wasn't doing it right and got me checked in, no problem. However, no offer to help me back to my car with my luggage and into the 2nd building. What a shame, loved the hotel, location, cleanliness.. Staff was Rude. I travel all the time for work and never received such poor service from the staff.

The front desk / customer service is awful. The toilet was overflowing and I called down to the desk and was told no one from maintenance was in yet. As the bathroom continued to flood, I called down again to a different woman who said she just got in and could not deal with it and when I asked to switch rooms she said she was not logged into the system and hung up on me. When I walked down to the front desk to again get moved, the woman who hung up on me was arranging the waters on the shelf. She was beyond rude and should not be working there. I finally got a different room which was definitely not as nice as the room I booked. I will not return to this hotel based on the staff intervention and lack of upkeep of this hotel.

The room was clean. The location and parking is very convenient - very close to First Beach so can walk there! The walls are paper thin and it’s so loud. People kept slamming doors (probably the staircase doors) and really kept us up. Also the associated restaurant across the street (Tickets) was pretty awful at least for breakfast - grumpy service, dirty cups/silverware, bad food. Much better was Yia Yia’s Cafe up the road! I probably would not stay here again.

We enjoyed the property very much. Location was lovely, restaurant "Tickets" was excellent. Highly recommend for cuisine, friendly staff and service as well as nice view. The VIP perk was odd, it wasn't as listed "2 free cocktails" it was buy 1 get one free. Worked out, but not what said. Would stay there again for sure. Really liked it.

Great location and room was large Now the negative. . Plenty of parking, but you had to pay. Other than that it was very mediocre. Room may have been large but noisy. Bed frame had some metallic frame so it made noise every movement plus the fridge was noisy. Room temperature was difficult to regulate. Also, they offer"free" drink at the bar they own calledTickets. It is NOT free. 1. It's a Buy One Get One. And limited to draft beer, house wine, soft drink or well drink. Service at the restaurant was absolutely the worst I have had in years. Waitress never came back to check on us, and it took restaurant staff at least 20 minutes to track her down when we wanted to leave.

Clean room polite and efficient staff. Their restaurant has great food very fresh veggies and ingredients and the staff over at tickets bar and grill were friendly polite and attentive. Can’t wait to stay there again!
