Unusual hotel in an unusual location, which you can’t drive to. Nice rooms and lovely surrondings, in the very centre of Split. Breakfast a bit simple.

The hotel wasn’t accessible by road (well taxis would not go down the narrow streets) so depending where you were dropped off/picked up taking your luggage was a real effort. The room was nice, though not connected to the main building with reception. This would have been fine as they had security doors at the entrance of each building, but the chose to have them unlocked, which was a bit strange. You obviously have a lock on your room but anyone could gain access to the building. We were assured nothing has ever happened, and it didn’t, but it seamed odd to have additional security and not use it.

Teníamos dos habitaciones porque iba con familia de 5. Nos dieron en el tercer piso y nadie te ayudaba con maletas (no hay elevador) así que todas las maletas las tuvimos que cargar nosotros.

We saw mixed reviews and glad to say room 301 was excellent, very clean and exactly as advertised. The location of the hotel was superb, quiet street but just a few minutes walk to the centre of town and tourist area for cafe, bars and restaurants. The staff were also very friendly. The only negative is the description, which says the hotel has a restaurant, bar and cafe. In fact the hotel has no facilities at all. So as an excellent room and location, highly recommended but don’t get confused over the listing.

Bit of a walk from the Riva. No elevator. Spacious room. We are grateful that they can store our luggage for early arrivals and/or late departures.

Quaint old converted building with modern rooms. Situated in old part of the city close to the Riva and palace. Not suitable for people with mobility issues. No direct car access as entrance on narrow alleyway.

Very well renovated building less than five minutes from the Split historic centre from the Roman times in a quiet area. Good full breakfast and attentive staff. Spaces for eating breakfast inside or outside. Parking if you drive, would be by the seaside walk, about seven minutes from the hotel. Near all the action, without all the noise of the very centre. There are many dining options from a minute walk from the hotel and onwards. Being a historic, renovated building, it has steps and no lift to the rooms. Beautiful boutique size hotel with personal service.

This is a very quaint hotel with updated room amenities in a rustic building very near the historic sites of Split. It is situated on a very narrow street (alley) so difficult to access by taxi. {Leave the large luggage at home!]

Super friendly staff, room is sweet and you will need the AC on during summer. They had proper AC as compared to other accommodation. Easy walk to town centre. The parking is NOT on site, speak with them before you go for advice, rates vary from €15 - 45 per day. We found free parking a couple of blocks away, safe and quiet street.

This was a very conveniently located hotel, just off Split Riva (the main tourist strip). I was only an 8 minute walk to the Diocletian's Palace, which is the very heart of the city, and less than 15 minutes to the main bus station and port. Our room was clean and air conditioned, and had a good bathroom and shower. Staff were also very friendly and helpful, and check in and check out were very efficient. Our only criticism, but it is probably as advertised, is that - at the time of our stay - this didn’t have the feel of a conventional hotel. Rooms were spread across at least two buildings, around a small public space, and no communal lounges seemed to be in use. Also, we weren’t aware of a restaurant, and certainly didn’t see a bar. That said, I think a continental breakfast was offered, but it was expensive. Our room was also quite small, had two single beds rather than a double, and one of the beds squeaked very badly every time you moved on it. As I say, though, on balance, a very clean and convenient accommodation option for a visit to Split

Great location, right in the hussle and bussle. Aircon was great but unfortunately the room was clearly damp and subsequently stank of urine. We did complain about the smell, but was informed it was due to recent rain but no real resolution. Security was poor, no extra lock on the door and safe attached the flimsy wardrobe (not attached to wall). Definitely more shabby than chic. Would stay in the same area, but not here.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It’s in a fantastic location – close to the centre of Split but tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet. Just a few minutes’ walk takes you to plenty of restaurants and bars, with a great choice of food and budgets to suit everyone. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and had fresh towels available every day if we wanted them. The décor was charming, with a style that reflected the atmosphere of Split’s old town streets. We walked everywhere during our stay. On a cooler day (end of September/early October), we explored the beautiful Marjan forest, which was well worth it. We also walked to a lovely beach where we hired loungers for €20 each – there are several spots along the coast to choose from, all clean, uncrowded and inviting. On the way back, we stopped at the Tennis Club terrace bar for a drink, which had wonderful views over the beach. Getting to the hotel was easy too – we took the airport shuttle bus (€16 each) to the harbour and walked from there in about 15 minutes through La Riva. All in all, a perfect stay - highly recommend.

We booked and arrived the morning after our wedding! The facilities were clean and well kept, the hosts were helpful and friendly. A beautiful spot in the old town steeped in history with most things less than 5min walk. Excellent honeymoon experience, diolch 😁

Nice furnished room, very dark due to one small window. Nice of the reception to give us erley check in. One issue: the bathroom smelled bad from the pipes and the water in the shower was clogged. The water dus not sink. We told reception which fid nothing about the problem.

WOW what a beautiful hotel. In the old town of Split, around one of many winding cobbled street corners. A very welcoming outside, with multiple outside stone steps. Beautiful reception along with 2 elevated decking seated areas and 1 other. We went on the 28th September 2025 for 3 nights. The weather was in the 20’s whilst we were there. We arrived just after 12pm and we were lucky to have our room ready for us. We were checked in quickly and we were greeted with a friendly and warm welcome. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there are lots of places to eat in Split. The hotel has very much the old town look with lots of attention to detail. With a modern twist for the key-pads on the door and lights on the stairs. We stayed in room 305. Lovely high ceiling, with the bedside lamps on as we entered giving a very warm welcome. I won’t spoil the theme of the furniture but it is plumbing related. Lovely bathroom, decent sized shower cubicle with a large ceiling shower head with good pressure and heat. In the room was a small fridge to use, which was an added bonus. Toiletries in bathroom and tea, coffee and herbal tea, cups and kettle also in the room. Along with air conditioning. The hotel is only a few minutes to the nearest eatery / shop. Yet the area of the hotel is quiet during the day and during the night. Average. Pleasant room but nowhere comfortable to sit. Would have been better if there had been comfortable seats on the public terrace. One window opened on to a public terrace, the second to a blank wall. Main issue was the noise from the room above. The wooden floor creaked very loudly every time someone walked on it.

The hotel is a short walk to Old Town. The standard room is small. So, just be aware of this. Additionally, if you are similar to me in that you need a dark room to sleep, then you will have some trouble sleeping. There are green exit lights over the room door. The walls are thin between rooms on the same floor. But, otherwise a neat, little medieval type of room.

Good area and friendly staff. 5 minute walk to the center of the city. The condition of the property was not the best. The showers leaked and the water flooded the bathroom. They did not have a fridge in the room and the wifi connection was terrible in one of the rooms.

Perfect little gem of an hotel just off the beaten path. Great help and assistance from checking in through to getting in a van to the airport. Quick walk to all the tourist spots in the old city and the marina. Large comfortable rooms.

Die Unterkunft hat eine sehr gute Lage. Man wohnt in der Altstadt und erreicht die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß. 5 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Hafen und dem Stadtkern. Unser Zimmer war im Dachgeschoss. Es war sehr warm. Die Klimaanlage war schwach, um schnell das Zimmer abkühlen zu lassen. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Wir hatten Möglichkeiten zu frühstücken. Die Qualität war nicht so gut. Die Kaffeemaschine funktionierte nicht richtig. Einige Produkte(Gemüse und Obst) waren nicht frisch. Sonst war ok. Split ist eine schöne Stadt mit vielen Restaurants und Bars. Leckeres Eis auf jeder Ecke. Aber im Sommer ist es zu warm. Der Strand war zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Wasser im Meer war sauber und klar und warm. Der Strand war steinig. Es gibt genug Bademöglichkeiten. Vielen Dank Ich würde die Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen.

I stayed in one of several ground floor (actually semi-basement) rooms that opened directly off the relatively quiet street. Noise was a major issue. This was for three reasons: (1) a window facing street and hidden outside by shutters and inside by curtains behind desk was left ajar. Closing it required moving desk, and a shorter person would have needed to stand on a chair. (2) Noise travelled from floor above easily - everything from footsteps to phone conversation was audible at 2am. (3) During heavy rain, the gutters somehow ran internally above the bathroom ceiling creating an echo chamber of dripping water noises! The front desk was not open for all of the advertised hours. I only stayed because I got three nights for price of two and location was conveniently close to the old town but not on busiest strips.

Would love to give a nice feetback on an vintage place. But an overpriced hotel room where you can not sleep - the floor is so thin that you hear all footsteps, convertation and snoring from upstairs is not nice. I normally sleap easy even there is noice. Coasy place apart from that.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was personally escorted to my room, which was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated. What really stood out was the level of service. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. It truly felt like they cared about making my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip!

In spite of advising of our late arrival just prior to reaching the hotel (train delayed from Zagreb to Split) the Reception Desk and Hotel were closed. We had to call a number and waited 15 minutes while someone turned up to admit us. The air conditioning unit in our room was switched off (the owner is cheap and likes to save money we heard) and it pumped out hot air when we tried it. A disappointing end to a long day of travel

What a gorgeous and charming property! The location was cute and quiet, the rooms were very clean, but the stand out here was the staff. The very lovely Inna made me feel like I was home from the moment I stepped in. Such a warm and kind welcome. She really made the whole experience one I will not forget. Thank you for the wonderful stay, I can’t wait to come back one day!

The hotel was perfect for our 4 day stay in Split. Only negative was that it was a little difficult to find in the first instance, but the location, the room and service by the hotel staff was excellent.

Conveniently located yet quiet at night and affordable. There’s also some cute bars/restaurants nearby which were more quiet and felt more local. The staff were the best part. I recommend staying!

Hei, that what happened last night wast the worst experience I had in my life. I ordered a suit with 2 bedrooms, anxx dc it was very clear that we are coming a family with 1 child, and we want suit apartment with 2 rooms. First we only get a room with king bed without any explanation??!!?? Obviously knowing what we ordered, receptionists give us a key from 1 room, and when I complained, she told me that suit is occupied and that she s giving me room number 2 on the first floor and first room on the 3 floor. Insane and very rude!!! Then she offered me a big room in Prima building with 2 king bed and that room was ok and we take it at 23:30 in the evening. But entrance of that building was so scary for my wife and my child , that I needed to calm them down for 2 hours. On the back of ruin building, which was once a city mall , in dark, with so shady guests all around and fight inf and drinking going on all night. Not to mention that I carry myself all my stuff from 1st Hotel to another room or whatever you call that place. I really want that you make a big complaint about it, and I will like to use my insurance and get my money back, Because that was something so unprofessional and unpleasant experience, That I never experienced in my life. It was done on a purpose , and that’s why I am so disappointed and angry. I really don’t like when someone is looking at your eyes and lying on purpose. Anyway, that’s not a place to recommend to no one!!!! Request for immediate action

We loved our stay at this property. Its location is perfect for old town and the marina. Walkable to everywhere or super close to the bus stop if needed. The hotel is super quiet at night which we really liked. Staff were very helpful with check in instructions.

The room was adequate in a convenient location to all of the main sites of Split. The staff was polite. Now, three things that could have been better. The Wi-Fi did not work in our room. We were across the street from the office in room 006. Maybe we were too far. The safe in our room was rusted and unusable. And although we didn't mind the walk, our "breakfast included" was not on the hotel property. It was at a little restaurant not too far away. The food was good, but if a guest had mobility issues, or if the weather were bad, the hike to breakfast might make it more of a challenge.

We waren er buiten het seizoen dus nog niet alles was mogelijk. Ontbijt bijvoorbeeld. Maar verder heel prima locatie met vriendelijk personeel. Een koninklijke ruimte kamers.

The staff is very helpful, especially Inna who is very quick to respond, very kind, friendly and eager to help. Nonetheless, we were disappointed with the hotel and the false advertising. There in No restaurant, there is No bar, our room was tiny, our bed was Not a Queen size (it was a short, narrow double), we had to walk too far with all of our luggage because taxis cannot drive into the pedestrian zone in which this hotel is located. This is Not a four star hotel, but rather a two star hostel. The breakfast is awful (grey hot dogs, cold old fried eggs, shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, bland cheese, white rolls). In summary, Inna and the staff are great, but the property is falsely advertised.

Hotel excelente, quarto otimo e banheiro e chuveiro bom. Cafe da manhã muito simples. O bom desse hotel é que esta proximo ao centro Nao aconselho para quem viaja de carro, pois nao se pode chegar no hotel. Precisa deixar num estacionamento longe, e levar as malas.
