Schönes ausreichendes Frühstück, nettes Personal, ruhige Lage. Im Hotel im Zimmer drin ist leider immer wieder etwas laut (wegen Abwasserung oder Aufzug, kA) und unser Zimmer für 3 Personen (deluxe /doppelt) war an wich schon sehr kleiner als man es sich vorstellt, und Schlafsofa war leider sehr unbequem, Hauptbett war bequem, Dekokissen mit vielen merkwürdigen Flecken. WC/Dusche sauber und renoviert. Leider nur Seife Klopapier vorhanden im Bad, in vielen Hotels gleicher Kategorie findet man schampoo /Lotions etc. Auch kein richtiger Mini Kühlschrank im Zimmer (stand in der Beschreibung bei Expedia) , sondern nur Minibar was man natürlich gegen Aufpreis nützen könnte.

Was nicht ok war es ist kein 4 Sterne Hotel. Wir hatten auf dem Zimmer keine Klimaanlage. Die war defekt. Anscheinend in allen Zimmern so nur komisch das es aber unten an der Anmeldung immer kühl war nur nicht auf den Zimmern. Dann wurde nicht richtig sauber gemacht obwohl wir das Schild vor der Tür hängen hatten bitte säubern. Es wurde nur das Bett gemacht sonst Nix. Das Bad sah immer noch so aus als wir das Hotel am Morgen verlassen hatten. Dann waren aufm Bett viele schwarze kurze Haare sowas geht gar nicht. Von anderen hörten wir die hatten kein Heiß Wasser und konnten somit nicht richtig duschen. Zu dem wurde nie die Bar aufgefüllt also ich werde diese Unterkunft auf keinen Fall weiter empfehlen.

Worth paying for a room upgrade if you can. We had a good sized room, with huge bed on Floor 6 with a balcony. Hotel left a small bottle of fizz for my husband's birthday which was nice. Very clean and comfortable. Hotel in good location, very quiet. 10 minute walk to the Metro which was so easy (and cheap!) to use to get to the Old Town. Convenient shop next door to hotel and atm machine in lobby was very handy. Didnt use the bar but it didnt look staffed a lot of the time. Only two negatives. Breakfast was quite basic, no croissants or pastries, lack of fruit choices to go with yogurt, limited hot food choices, poor coffee, not 4 star selection in my opinion. Nice modern bathroom but bath/shower quite high to climb into, could do with a grab rail nearby for safety measure. Overall, a good hotel in a great location and I would stay again.

Lovely hotel. Car parking is extra and a little pricey (€21) a day. I think €10 a stay would be enough and fair! The location is great, although it’s 1.5 miles/ 30 min brisk walk from the square, we enjoyed the walk but it was a little inconvenient if you just wanted to pop back in the day. The second evening was spent local to the hotel and there were plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy. Overall a nice place but slightly overpriced for the location.

Pretty good location if you don’t mind taking the metro (train) into town. But some basics missing, for example: No black out curtains No door security in lifts (you can call a lift from the lobby without an access card, or any type of security, meaning anyone can come up or down any time of day or night) No iron / board in room as standard 5 hangers in a double room wardrobe- not enough! No aircon and it’s all analog very very dated Mini bar not stocked on arrival No additional pillows / feather Sauna £18 / 400 per hour, not free! Noisy rooms. So I was in room 102 which was a short walk away from the lifts and it was extremely noisy on level one of a five story hotel yeah the walls were paper thin, I could hear everything The beds were extremely short I’m only 5‘11“ and my feet were fully hanging off the ends of the bed . Super short beds! I guess the other strange part which is quite common in a lot of European destinations, but even with a double bed, they give you two individual duvets which are barely enough each to cover a bum cheek

The room was compact, great service, staff was very helpful. Ongoing construction in certain areas of the hotel is a bit distracting yet nothing too inconvenient. I had a good experience overall.

Hotel is located in a convenient location in Prague with close metro and tram links. Rooms are clean and quiet. Despite being 4 star hotel, they don’t provide water bottles (except first night) nor have iron or ironing board. Aside from stray hairs on the desk from previous guest, you're about 2 miles from anything happening in Prague, which is a great city. This hotel is in a residential area. Stupid to stay there. You're not close to anything.

This was our second stay at the Ametyst Hotel. We were delighted with all aspects of our stay. the hotel organised transfer to and from the airport. The hotel was clean, comfortable and warm given that it was snowing when we arrived. The staff are professional and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for all tastes. The hotel is slightly out of the tourist centre but close to good public transport links - the tram and metro and therefore represents good value for money is a quieter district of the city. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Wir waren für ein Wochenende in Prag und brauchten ein Hotel. Der Service war gut, die Zimmer, in denen wir untergebracht waren waren schon etwas älter. Die Möbel hatten schon bessere Zeiten erlebt, war aber noch alles ok. Das Bad war einfach ausgestattet, leider war das Silikon schon sehr stockig und der Duschkopf und die Duschabtrennung waren nicht sehr sauber. Zu allem Überfluss war am ersten Tag dann auch noch kein warmes Wasser vorhanden. Darum wurde sich aber sofort gekümmert. Das Frühstück war gut sortiert und es wurde regelmäßig nachgefüllt. Für ein Wochenende war es so weit in Ordnung.

Entren upplevdes orenoverad men trevliga, renoverade och rena rum. Men minus för att lakanen inte byttes under de 4 dagar vi stannade. Frukosten var bra men saknade osötade flingor/ musli samt bröd med hela korn/ grovt bröd med frön.

Lovely hotel, nicely positioned in a quiet area but close enough to the tram and metro stations and more importantly all tourist attractions. The hotel was nicely furnished throughout, rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection was very good although the layout of the food in the breakfast areas was a little disjointed. The overall hotel experience was very good and we would not hesitate to stay there again. The hotel was also close to lots of restaurants and food places, so easy to spend the day sightseeing and then call into a restaurant on the way back to the hotel. We walked to most of the tourist attractions, all of which were within a 15-30 minute walk from the hotel. So for us the hotel was absolutely perfect!

Worth paying for a room upgrade if you can. We had a good sized room, with huge bed on Floor 6 with a balcony. Hotel left a small bottle of fizz for my husband's birthday which was nice. Very clean and comfortable. Hotel in good location, very quiet. 10 minute walk to the Metro which was so easy (and cheap!) to use to get to the Old Town. Convenient shop next door to hotel and atm machine in lobby was very handy. Didnt use the bar but it didnt look staffed a lot of the time. Only two negatives. Breakfast was quite basic, no croissants or pastries, lack of fruit choices to go with yogurt, limited hot food choices, poor coffee, not 4 star selection in my opinion. Nice modern bathroom but bath/shower quite high to climb into, could do with a grab rail nearby for safety measure. Overall, a good hotel in a great location and I would stay again.

Generally a good stay, and a good spot for the price. I did have to wear earplugs at night as you can hear the doors slamming and people above if you're in a small single room, as the bed is right by the hallway wall. Breakfast is minimal (small variety of fruit, scrambled egg, sausage, breads and cheeses) but enough for the morning. 10 minute walk to the metro and tram stop, very easy to access the main sights. I was worried about the AC after seeing other reviews (very warm in July!) but it was working great and quickly in my room. The room itself felt very modern, recently renovated and clean, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels in this price range. I also felt safe in the area on my own at night, however some streets are not very well lit when walking back from the metro & tram stop. The property is nice , a quiet area with nice restaurants and coffee shops but far away from the main attractions and public transportation. The included breakfast is very good. The room has a good size, good bed and separate shower from the toilet. Very recommended

Pretty good location if you don’t mind taking the metro (train) into town. But some basics missing, for example: No black out curtains No door security in lifts (you can call a lift from the lobby without an access card, or any type of security, meaning anyone can come up or down any time of day or night) No iron / board in room as standard 5 hangers in a double room wardrobe- not enough! No aircon and it’s all analog very very dated Mini bar not stocked on arrival No additional pillows / feather Sauna £18 / 400 per hour, not free! Noisy rooms. This was our second stay at the Ametyst Hotel. We were delighted with all aspects of our stay. the hotel organised transfer to and from the airport. The hotel was clean, comfortable and warm given that it was snowing when we arrived. The staff are professional and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for all tastes. The hotel is slightly out of the tourist centre but close to good public transport links - the tram and metro and therefore represents good value for money is a quieter district of the city. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice staff. We lost a key to one of our bags. They smilingly helped us to cut open the lock in a few minutes. Also were forth coming in giving directions to the various attractions etc.

Aside from stray hairs on the desk from previous guest, you're about 2 miles from anything happening in Prague, which is a great city. This hotel is in a residential area. Stupid to stay there. You're not close to anything.

Lovely hotel. Car parking is extra and a little pricey (€21) a day. I think €10 a stay would be enough and fair! The location is great, although it’s 1.5 miles/ 30 min brisk walk from the square, we enjoyed the walk but it was a little inconvenient if you just wanted to pop back in the day. The second evening was spent local to the hotel and there were plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy. Overall a nice place but slightly overpriced for the location.

Lovely hotel, nicely positioned in a quiet area but close enough to the tram and metro stations and more importantly all tourist attractions. The hotel was nicely furnished throughout, rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection was very good although the layout of the food in the breakfast areas was a little disjointed. The overall hotel experience was very good and we would not hesitate to stay there again. The hotel was also close to lots of restaurants and food places, so easy to spend the day sightseeing and then call into a restaurant on the way back to the hotel. We walked to most of the tourist attractions, all of which were within a 15-30 minute walk from the hotel. So for us the hotel was absolutely perfect!

Entren upplevdes orenoverad men trevliga, renoverade och rena rum. Men minus för att lakanen inte byttes under de 4 dagar vi stannade. Frukosten var bra men saknade osötade flingor/ musli samt bröd med hela korn/ grovt bröd med frön.

Lovely hotel, nicely positioned in a quiet area but close enough to the tram and metro stations and more importantly all tourist attractions. The hotel was nicely furnished throughout, rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection was very good although the layout of the food in the breakfast areas was a little disjointed. The overall hotel experience was very good and we would not hesitate to stay there again. The hotel was also close to lots of restaurants and food places, so easy to spend the day sightseeing and then call into a restaurant on the way back to the hotel. We walked to most of the tourist attractions, all of which were within a 15-30 minute walk from the hotel. So for us the hotel was absolutely perfect!

I had a super stay at this cozy and very well situated hotel in Praha! A quick walk to midtown Metro stations and Congress Center. The staff was friendly and very helpful! My room had every commodities that I needed. Just sure your universal adapter outlet.

Nice enough hotel. Check in was a bit laborious. I was with a group of 16 but it seemed to take an age to get everyone checked in with city tax and €80 security fee (which you get back) on top of it

Worth paying for a room upgrade if you can. We had a good sized room, with huge bed on Floor 6 with a balcony. Hotel left a small bottle of fizz for my husband's birthday which was nice. Very clean and comfortable. Hotel in good location, very quiet. 10 minute walk to the Metro which was so easy (and cheap!) to use to get to the Old Town. Convenient shop next door to hotel and atm machine in lobby was very handy. Didnt use the bar but it didnt look staffed a lot of the time. Only two negatives. Breakfast was quite basic, no croissants or pastries, lack of fruit choices to go with yogurt, limited hot food choices, poor coffee, not 4 star selection in my opinion. Nice modern bathroom but bath/shower quite high to climb into, could do with a grab rail nearby for safety measure. Overall, a good hotel in a great location and I would stay again.
