I love this hotel, it’s perfect for a weekend of nature, yoga, good food and great service. Snorkeling, sup, beautiful view and you are right at the ocean, just perfect.

This property is really pretty, there's two pools (one is adults only), a hot tub, and you can go snorkeling right off of the hotel. It's a little confusing there's actually two hotels here there's hotel b Cozumel and hotel b unique which is listed on this page and has its own listing as well. We stayed at hotel b unique which is the newer adults only side. The rooms were big and beautiful, with balconys overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was included and one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. The staff was amazing everyone we talked to was super helpful and asking if there was anything you needed. There a little shop (not run by the hotel) on property that rents snorkeling gear if you need it. They are only open 9-4 so make sure you plan accordingly if you need it.

The reef by the hotel was great for snorkeling and the facilities by the reef (pools and jacuzzi) were outstanding. There breakfast and lunch were nice by the pool. The room was good with a nice balcony, but mainly enjoyed the pool area and reef.

The grounds are absolutely stunning. One gorgeous pool and one really nice pool. There was also a hot tub but the water was not hot! Or even warm! There is a dock to jump off into the water and a "floating dock" to swim to. There is one ladder to climb back up to the property. There is no sandy beach at this property. The room itself (standard room with ocean view) was small but adequate. The bathroom area was small with no room to really unpack toiletries for more than one person. (I'm a female person who uses skincare products and wears contact lenses) There could have easily been a shelf or cabinet under the sink to put things away so tiny countertop was not so cluttered. The room was a bit worn and could use a little TLC but nothing terrible. The salty air, wind, humidity, and proximity to water is hard on materials.

The outdoor features of this hotel are stunning. The pools are amazing as is the access to the ocean. The food at the restaurant was lovely, as were the cocktails. The rooms are spacious, but definitely leave a bit to be desired. The beds were pretty rock hard, and the bathroom was cramped. Could definitely use some updating--which is what I would expect has happened with their sister hotel Hotel B Unique. All that being said, the staff was lovely, attentive, and helpful. I really enjoyed their hospitality. So if you're looking for a hotel that is a great location with outdoor amenities, but don't need a cushy room, definitely give Hotel B a shot!

Beautiful access to a snorkeling cove and then the ocean beyond. Jump right from the rocks at the hotel into the ocean and climb up the ladder. Hot tub right at the edge overlooking the ocean. Amazing views from pools, restaurants and room.

We loved this boutique hotel! The property is beautiful, and you just basically step to the ocean. Loved the ocean platform, pools, jacuzzi, and so cool that anywhere you are, you have stunning ocean view! Food in both restaurants were delicious gourmet. All staff at the restaurants were amazingly nice. We stayed at the Hotel B side that is older and needs some room improvement. Hotel Unique side looks nicer but it’s for adults only. My only complaint is the front desk service, and couple things at the room that they took forever to fix.

Lots of missed opportunities at this hotel. The doc needs to be fixed missing a huge opportunity. Could not be used. A big chunk was floating in the “beach area. ”Move the red chair great place for 1 person. But if you are trying to get down the stairs it’s awkward. This is where you could get into the ocean for snorkeling. The “beach” area is a joke. It was so super rocky, really small area. You are better off using the stairs but hard to access if others are there as stated above. Hot tub did not work. We told several staff members and they did not seem to be concerned. Snorkeling gear should have been included in your stay. TV in the room never worked. Again told staff but stated that it would get fixed soon. You need to bring a power strip with you. There is only one place to plug in your phones, watches etc….Close to the street and really loud due to the traffic. Sliding glass door in our room did not lock. They seemed to not care about the property and how it looked until it got closer to the weekend. Then that is when staff was fixing up all of the areas. We visited Monday-Saturday. Lastly, we had paid for the breakfast while we were there. Well as we were told to scan the menu there was several options. But went to order to find out you only have two options. Pancakes or omelet. Wish that was clear from the beginning.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, everyone greeted us wherever we were. The outside areas are wonderful, the restaurants are beautiful and the food is good. I love the rocky cliffs, tiny lagoon and the decks with stairs to access the sea. There are comfortable chairs and loungers and the pools are very nice. We chose an ocean view room and it was lovely to have the sliding glass door open at night and listen to the waves. The beds are decently comfortable. There was also a bar fridge in the room which was a bonus since it wasn’t listed in the description. The room is a bit tired and after waiting for an hour for it to be ready, we discovered that the deadbolt didn’t work so we just used the little chain to secure it. We were only there for a night so asked maintenance who showed up to wait until we left as we had no plans to leave the property. There was no hot water the next morning at 9am and it’s worth noting that there are no extra plugs, at least none I found, at the nightstand. There was a plug in the bathroom and one for the fridge and coffeemaker so we juggled charging things. Not the end of the world of course, we should be reading a book. Despite a few snags I’d come again because the outside space is really wonderful and I’d like to try B Unique, it is more upscale but there was no room a available for three.

Great property. Views and access to Snorkeling and scuba diving was outstanding. Before pools and views. Marco was excellent as a Bell Captain helping us with restaurant and other recommendations and was very friendly. We will come back. Great experience!

Hotel B is a great place for me to relax. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the location is close to downtown but far enough away that the area is very quiet. Price was very reasonable, room was spacious, and the restaurant, bar, and scuba shop were all very accommodating. My air conditioner was a bit noisy but not bad enough that it really bothered my sleep so I had no real issues during my stay.
Hotel B is a great place for me to relax. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the location is close to downtown but far enough away that the area is very quiet. Our second visit to Hotel B after 12 years. We were saddened to see there have been no updates to the rooms since then. The rooms and balconies are in desperate need of repairs/ maintenance. Our sink was filled with black mold, the room smelled very musty. The A/C worked very well and hot water was good. The restaurant is next door at Hotel B Unique. The food is outstanding! I returned to this hotel to the best snorkeling I’d ever experienced. I did not get to snorkel this time as the “Dive” shop was rarely open so I could get a snorkel and fins. This was the biggest disappointment of all. Hotel B is a very mixed bag, not very friendly employees, old rooms, yet gorgeous water and great food.

El hotel no es ni cercano a los que aparece en las fotos, cuidado. En primer lugar es un lugar descuidado como pocos, se nota que desde que lo inauguraron no le han dado mantenimiento a nada, las toallas y sabanas de las habitaciones no sirven ni para donarlas, la regadera de mi cuarto gotea sin parar, hay pintura descarapelada, mosaicos del piso rotos por todos lados, la limpieza deja mucho que desear tanto en el cuarto como en los pasillos, dejan servicios de room service terminados tirados en los pasillos por mas de 24 horas, y se atreven a cobrar tarifas de hotel de lujo cuando apenas llegan a hostal con baño privado. De verdad fue una experiencia muy desagradable en todos sentidos. Si están dispuestos a pagar esas tarifas es mucho mejor opción el Westin que esta a 30 metros de distancia, en donde todos los detalles están perfectamente cuidados, se nota el mantenimiento y aparte si tienen playa. Adicional a todo eso, solo se dedican a engañar a la gente como a dos personas que estaban haciendo check in junto a nosotros argumentando que les vendieron una habitación con jungle view y la realidad es que la unica vista es a una calle bastante fea. Yo tenia derecho a un upgrade de habitación gratiuto pero nuevamente engañando, me quisieron cobrar argumentando que el Hotel B y el Hotel Unique son hoteles distintos pero es es solo cuando les conviene porque la propiedad completa la comercializan como Hotel B Unique y todo funciona como un solo hotel. En fin, ahorrense el disgus

Nos gustó el concepto ecofriendly del hotel pero nos decepcionó mucho la limpieza principalmente de nuestro habitación. En cuestión de alimentos, las opciones eran limitadas y las porciones eran pequeñas, adicionalmente el sabor no era el mejor.

Hotel B is very comfortable, relaxing and safe feeling. The staff is so attentive. It’s very clean. It’s my favorite place to stay. I’ve been here five times and always enjoyed myself

The entire staff were amazing. The location is great and you can snorkel right from the property. The rooms were well kept and clean. Very tranquil. Highly recommend.

The outdoor amenities at Hotel B are the standout feature, with a nicely renovated pool and a relaxing ocean-side hot tub that offer beautiful views. Unfortunately, the rooms fall short of expectations. The mattresses and pillows are uncomfortably stiff, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. There's only one power outlet available for charging electronics, and it's inconveniently located. If you're hoping to unwind with some TV, don't bother--the screen is around 20 inches, and the channel selection is very limited. Overall, while the outdoor area is impressive, the rooms could use significant improvement to match the experience.

They did not have the room we booked so the put us in another inferior room and gave us a free massage in compensation. When I looked later I saw that this was still not enough to make up the difference in rates. Then at around ten pm a group of their security personal invaded the room next door. They were incredibly loud and it was actually a very frightening experience. The lock to our door fell off. It took over half an hour for management to get them to be quiet and fix the lock. The last thing we needed after a long day of travel. The night manager said she would make it up to us, but they didn’t do anything. After that experience e we did move to a new room, the level we had paid for, the next day and enjoyed the rest of our stay. The day desk manager, I can’t remember her name, was very kind and helpful. The resort was beautiful and we very much enjoyed watching the sunsets from the pool.

Rooms are dimly lit and only have 2 outlets, 1 in the bathroom and 1 above the small, tepid mini bar fridge. Very simple room with a decent shower. There is no info in the room to assist the guest with basic questions; when we tried to call the front desk by dialing 0 on the unlabeled phone, no one answered. The macrame chairs are pretty & sturdy, but the bar across the back kills your back. A number of guests waited in the open air lobby with us for several hours as none of the availabe rooms were ready before 3. The staff was nice enough, but we are unlikely to stay again.

The grounds are absolutely stunning. One gorgeous pool and one really nice pool. There was also a hot tub but the water was not hot! Or even warm! There is a dock to jump off into the water and a "floating dock" to swim to. There is one ladder to climb back up to the property. There is no sandy beach at this property. The room itself (standard room with ocean view) was small but adequate. The bathroom area was small with no room to really unpack toiletries for more than one person. (I'm a female person who uses skincare products and wears contact lenses) There could have easily been a shelf or cabinet under the sink to put things away so tiny countertop was not so cluttered. The room was a bit worn and could use a little TLC but nothing terrible. The salty air, wind, humidity, and proximity to water is hard on materials.

The room we got for the price on here was a horrible room. It should not even be available as a room. It smelled like mildew, the water didn’t work, and it is probably for staff when they are stuck at work. We were offered an upgrade if we wanted to pay extra, which we ended up doing after the fact, because it was that bad.

The outdoor features of this hotel are stunning. The pools are amazing as is the access to the ocean. The food at the restaurant was lovely, as were the cocktails. The rooms are spacious, but definitely leave a bit to be desired. The beds were pretty rock hard, and the bathroom was cramped. Could definitely use some updating--which is what I would expect has happened with their sister hotel Hotel B Unique. All that being said, the staff was lovely, attentive, and helpful. I really enjoyed their hospitality. So if you're looking for a hotel that is a great location with outdoor amenities, but don't need a cushy room, definitely give Hotel B a shot!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, everyone greeted us wherever we were. The outside areas are wonderful, the restaurants are beautiful and the food is good. I love the rocky cliffs, tiny lagoon and the decks with stairs to access the sea. There are comfortable chairs and loungers and the pools are very nice. We chose an ocean view room and it was lovely to have the sliding glass door open at night and listen to the waves. The beds are decently comfortable. There was also a bar fridge in the room which was a bonus since it wasn’t listed in the description. The room is a bit tired and after waiting for an hour for it to be ready, we discovered that the deadbolt didn’t work so we just used the little chain to secure it. We were only there for a night so asked maintenance who showed up to wait until we left as we had no plans to leave the property. There was no hot water the next morning at 9am and it’s worth noting that there are no extra plugs, at least none I found, at the nightstand. There was a plug in the bathroom and one for the fridge and coffeemaker so we juggled charging things. Not the end of the world of course, we should be reading a book. Despite a few snags I’d come again because the outside space is really wonderful and I’d like to try B Unique, it is more upscale but there was no room a available for three.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel B for our first time in Cozumel. Specifically, we stayed at Hotel B Unique which is the adult only side of the hotel. We absolutely loved our room that faced the gorgeous green blue ocean. The staff was friendly and super helpful (specifically Marco) with recommendations such as restaurants and beach clubs for us to visit during our visit. Their facilities offered a great atmosphere for us to enjoy and the food at their in hotel restaurant was also very good. Grateful for our stay at Hotel B!

A estrutura do hotel é muito boa. As piscinas são fantásticas. Quartos de frente para o mar. a vista é linda! No entanto, o chuveiro era fraco e com água sempre quente demais. O frigobar não gelava. Alem disso, o atendimento da recepção deixou muito a desejar. Funcionários nada simpáticos, não explicaram nada sobre o hotel, demora no check-in e check-out. Perguntamos a um senhor na recepção sobre passeios de barco e ele, até simpático, nos indicou o pior passeio de barco das nossas vidas. O piloto guiava em alta velocidade e quase bateu em outro barco por duas vezes. Em uma dessas vezes, minha esposa foi atirada no chão por conta da parada super brusca. Foi bem sério. Tirando esses percalços, que podem ser revistos e ajustados pela gerência, a área externa do hotel é fantástica e muito confortável. A equipe de praia é muito atenciosa e prestativa e eu até penso em voltar no futuro

Great property. Views and access to Snorkeling and scuba diving was outstanding. Before pools and views. Marco was excellent as a Bell Captain helping us with restaurant and other recommendations and was very friendly. We will come back. Great experience!

muy malinchistas, me encanto el hotel, pero jamás se acercaron los meseros atenderme a mí y a mi mamá como había puro gringo, a ellos los atendió muy bien, en el desayuno esperamos 40 minutos y medio nos atendieron es muy triste que como mexicano te hagan menos, quiero regresar, pero la verdad si lo pensare y ver otras alternativas después de esa mala experiencia

La scenografica posizione fronte mare, lontano dal porto, offre tranquillità, tramonti e facile accesso all'oceano per lo snorkeling. Per raggiungere il centro città di solito è necessario un breve taxi o una passeggiata, e in loco c'è poca o nessuna spiaggia sabbiosa.

This property is really pretty, there's two pools (one is adults only), a hot tub, and you can go snorkeling right off of the hotel. It's a little confusing there's actually two hotels here there's hotel b Cozumel and hotel b unique which is listed on this page and has its own listing as well. We stayed at hotel b unique which is the newer adults only side. The rooms were big and beautiful, with balconys overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was included and one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. The staff was amazing everyone we talked to was super helpful and asking if there was anything you needed. There a little shop (not run by the hotel) on property that rents snorkeling gear if you need it. They are only open 9-4 so make sure you plan accordingly if you need it.

"Quirky chic" Hotel is right on the water, great snorkeling and swimming, relaxing pool area, great restaurant. Easy to get a 5 min cab ride to town for activities and other places to eat. Outside of hotel could use a paint job. Rooms are fine, nothing amazing.

Too far from town so cost $40.00 to go into and return from town. Have weddings that play louder than loud mysic at night. We had to try to sleep through two nights of this. No steps to get in or out of pool.

Hotel B is a great place for me to relax. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the location is close to downtown but far enough away that the area is very quiet. Price was very reasonable, room was spacious, and the restaurant, bar, and scuba shop were all very accommodating. My air conditioner was a bit noisy but not bad enough that it really bothered my sleep so I had no real issues during my stay.

Views! This hotel is part of the northern hotel chain. It is in a more quiet part of town but it is right on the water with unobstructed views. Stunning sunsets! You will need a car to get around town if you stay here but it beats dealing with the daily cruise ship crowd… The facility is basically 2 separate hotels, the older side and a new side. We stayed in the older side now designated for families and the new side is for adults only. The access to the ocean, restaurant and “beach” were open to all. You could tell the family side was older but we were still comfortable and the pool was beautiful. The views were stunning anywhere in the hotel. Not sure what the VIP part of the service was but the staff was super friendly and helpful.

The food was terrible. It was a fusion of mexican and asian. But it did not deliver. All food was cold, even when ordering ala carte. The restaurants servers were not very friendly to us( mexican nationals) we felt discriminated at times, as other foreign guests were served promptly and with good attention. Food wait times were ridiculously long even when the restaurant was empty. Drinks were ok. Facilities were ok. Ala carte breakfast was confusing, again as a result of the unfriendlyness of the servers.

El personal fue siempre muy amable y la atención de primera. La estancia en las afueras del hotel están llenas de lujo y comodidad para disfrutar una hermosa vista al mar. Sólo quiero mencionar por este medio que este hotel NO tiene playa, sólo acceso al mar (en un área rocosa), a pesar de que en Expedia aparece "playa" como una de sus características principales, considero necesario hacer esta aclaración ya que el hotel fue muy específico en eso desde que llegamos, pero Expedia tiene esa limitante (y no sé si a propósito, porque tiro por viaje me salen con "letras chiquitas" cada vez que reservo), lo cual se vuelve un problema ya que la isla cuenta con muy pocas playas, casi todas privadas, y si te toca mal clima que impida realizar actividades acuáticas en el hotel, como en mi caso, tienes qué trasladarte en un auto rentado (ya que sólo hay taxi y es caro), lo cual tampoco estaba contemplado (más tiempo y dinero gastado en esto). El desayuno incluido estaba bastante completo y muy bueno, aunque con opciones limitadas. Las habitaciones muy limpias y cómodas, aunque parece que les falta algo de renovación. Sin dudarlo volvería a hospedarme en este lugar para descansar, pero si tu intención es ir a conocer y explorar las playas, recomiendo investigar otras opciones.

The reef by the hotel was great for snorkeling and the facilities by the reef (pools and jacuzzi) were outstanding. There breakfast and lunch were nice by the pool. The room was good with a nice balcony, but mainly enjoyed the pool area and reef.

Music too loud in restaurant otherwise very good food and attentive service. I was surprised how nice the hotel is for the price.Great snorkeling. Fantastic view. Plenty of big towels. Everything worked. I highly recommend.

This was my second time staying at this property and you can see some things that are growing in more need of repair. The food on the menu clearly tries to be healthy but the choices are not real appealing to everyone. The free breakfast is for sure nothing to write about except the presentation. I ordered an omelette with bacon and the bacon inside smelled not only old but was barely cooked. The pancakes I felt were a safer option. Rooms were very nice and the beds very comfortable. Balcony was great and nice to have a fridge even though we didn’t use anything in it. The worst part is the area off the elevator that connects to the building. There is a short ramp walkway with some stripping on it that leads downhill but when it rains it’s not covered and gets soaking wet. Completely hazardous and I saw someone fall which I’m sure was terrifying. The food we ordered at lunch was so little and the guac came with 4 tortilla shells that were very stale. I’m just really disappointed that things were not better and with all the choices of places to stay in Cozumel something needs to happen if this place wants to have returning guests

We loved this boutique hotel! The property is beautiful, and you just basically step to the ocean. Loved the ocean platform, pools, jacuzzi, and so cool that anywhere you are, you have stunning ocean view! Food in both restaurants were delicious gourmet. All staff at the restaurants were amazingly nice. We stayed at the Hotel B side that is older and needs some room improvement. Hotel Unique side looks nicer but it’s for adults only. My only complaint is the front desk service, and couple things at the room that they took forever to fix.

El Hotel es realmente muy bonito. El cuatro con vista al mar es lo más! Todas las piletas y la conexión directa al mar es un 1000! Lo único que critico como absurdo es parte del desayuno incluido. Los dos primeros días me sirvieron frutas pan y mermelada en porciones tan diminutas que parecía un chiste. Tan poco inteligente porque te desmotiva a comer en el Hotel. Deberían ofrecer estas cosas básicas en forma de Buffet ya que son todas cosas poco costosas. Y además tienen un mozo muy desagradable que hace tu desayuno desmotivador. El último día cambió el jefe de cocina y la experiencia y sus porciones mejoraron terriblemente. Con muy pocos cambios podría ser Perfecto Otra cosa que no me gustó es que según Expedia debía pagar solo 5 dólares en el Hotel y me cobraron 25 dólares. Estuve en 5 hoteles diferentes en México y este fue el único que no conocidió con lo que decía Expedia que debería pagar.

the place has the best location ever. there is the pool, there is the bay and there is the sea. View is amazing too. However, the place is really old. In our room on the first floor, the ceiling came down with a bang above the sink, lights hanging down and plaster crumbling. we had to rush out with our stuff in 10 minutes. The staff was not surprised and I couldnt really hear a sorry from any person. They just directed us to a new room- that we had to change again due to leaking ceiling, in a day. It looks like staff is used to these kind of things, we did not witness any sympathy or worry by the stuff, just calmly directing to a new room each time. The place is wonderful for kids to play in water, but it had better days. we were told that it is going to be renovated next year.
