Conveniently located 10 minutes from Lindisfarne, this hotel offers comfortable reasonably appointed and clean rooms with an adjacent restaurant. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was tasty and well presented. Excellent breakfast.

Check In was quick and easy. Lovely greeting. Loved the idea of foregoing housekeeping each day, in return for one free drink each on the evening. Which we took advantage of. Rooms were in an external bedroom block. They were clean with tea and coffee facilities. No securit safe though, which would be a good addition. Our room was near the steps to upstairs rooms and were noisy at times, and was near the rear of pub and extractor fans were loud until turned off, once off very quiet. Beds were comfortable and slept well. Bathroom door made it quite tight for getting in and out of bathrrom. Would benefit from a sliding door or bi-fold door. Had a good shower and excellent water pressure. All meals were lovely, quality over quantity. Oinon rings were delicious. Cooked breakfast were delicious, a good start to the day. All the Staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend staying here.

Great staff and great food & drinks at the pub. Easy parking and we were welcomed the moment we opened the door. Room was comfortable and it's very easy to get to the Holy Island from here. I would definitely recommend staying here, as I know we would again.

Super clean, modern comfortable rooms with everything to hand, spare pillows and towels, tea, coffee, milk, sweetner and biscuits. Staff super friendly and helpful. Parking. I didn't take mine but noticed its also dog friendly which is great.

Arrived early and was able to leave bag. Came back to check In and had to wait an additional 45 minutes as room wasn’t ready. Very friendly staff and were able to provide details on getting to Berwick. Breakfast the following morning wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad. Unfortunate that check out is very early. Only other think I wasn’t keen on was the bathroom had a weird smell.

The staff were excellent, from the first impression to the last. They all were friendly, very professional and we were put at ease straight away. The rooms were clean,comfortable and spacious. We did have a meal and the food was nice but i have had better. I must say it was all value for money and would stay there again.

Stayed in a family room for 1 night to break up a long journey. Arrived late but we were greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. The room was a bit cramped but was okay for our needs as we were going onward the next day. The beds were comfortable and considering the hotel is conveniently situated next to the A1 the room was quiet. Breakfast was good with a varied choice. There is the facility to book packed lunches but you need to book the night before. Overall a good friendly hotel. We would stay again if ever we’re passing through again.

Rooms were clean, but a little soul-less. Staff were lovely and always smiling. There is a noisy kitchen fan on during the day, but it is switched off at about 9, so it was not an issue for sleeping.

We booked here as we could have our dog stay with us and it was a convenient half way stop from near Inverness to Coventry. The room was fabulous and bed really comfortable, however, it was very noisy because of the A1 and the traffic namely Lorries which kept us awake all night. Otherwise it was ok

Disappointing, we were expecting a cozy stay in a country house like hotel but instead it was a rather dingy, viewless motel room in a tartan carpeted Little Chef. The fireplaces were not lit and there was no comfy seating beside them. The comfiest spot in the bar was reserved for dog-owners. The hotel seemed to have an over-friendly to dog attitude at the expense of their guests. Likewise dinner was a Weatherspoon type meal and service (as in order and pay at the bar) at eye watering Country House Hotel prices. What character the charming building had, had sadly been chain-branded over with adverts to sign up to the Inn Collection app and three for two deals. It did have a nice walk in shower though.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and cannot praise the staff highly enough! The room was very clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere inside the Inn itself. The food was perfect (although dearer than anticipated) One member of staff named Harley was amazing and his engagement with the customers was amazing! He knew how to encourage us to make more purchases and made our stay a very memorable one just by being himself. Thank you Harley!

My partner & myself had a lovely 3 night stay at the Lindisfarne inn. Easy access from the A1 with comfortable rooms. The staff were all lovely & made you feel welcome nothing was ever too much, they all work really hard serving food to making drinks behind the bar & keeping the restaurant clean of pots & making customers feel welcome. If I were to knit pick it would be to have a little more choice on the menu for your evening meal & for the alcohol to be a little less expensive. When you eat & drink there over your stay the bill can soon add up. But we enjoyed the meals we had which were served quickly & efficiently. It’s ideally located to holy island being about a 10 minute drive. Bamburgh castle not too far away either. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay on our Northumberland Coastal Path trip. Very clean and comfortable room. The food was good and the location was ideal. Even though it is right on the A1 it is surprisingly quiet inside.

We booked here as we could have our dog stay with us and it was a convenient half way stop from near Inverness to Coventry. The room was fabulous and bed really comfortable, however, it was very noisy because of the A1 and the traffic namely Lorries which kept us awake all night. Otherwise it was ok

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and cannot praise the staff highly enough! The room was very clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere inside the Inn itself. The food was perfect (although dearer than anticipated) One member of staff named Harley was amazing and his engagement with the customers was amazing! He knew how to encourage us to make more purchases and made our stay a very memorable one just by being himself. Thank you Harley!

Ideal location for Holy Island! Extremely clean rooms with towels, hairdryer, ironing board, tea/coffee facilities. Food is fantastic and breakfast was included which was delicious. Great customer service. Would I go again….most definitely

My partner & myself had a lovely 3 night stay at the Lindisfarne inn. Easy access from the A1 with comfortable rooms. The staff were all lovely & made you feel welcome nothing was ever too much, they all work really hard serving food to making drinks behind the bar & keeping the restaurant clean of pots & making customers feel welcome. If I were to knit pick it would be to have a little more choice on the menu for your evening meal & for the alcohol to be a little less expensive. When you eat & drink there over your stay the bill can soon add up. But we enjoyed the meals we had which were served quickly & efficiently. It’s ideally located to holy island being about a 10 minute drive. Bamburgh castle not too far away either. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Good supply of pillows. Shower hot and nice shampoo supplied. The room heating was efficient. Despite being on a busy room we were happy to sleep with window open without being disturbed by noise. The staff were very attentive and friendly The dining room was a shambles with long waits for food and on the Saturday night nearly as much food off as on. The dinner menu was not that interesting and seemed to lack salad options, but they may have more in the summer. Breakfasts were tasty although service was very slow.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, spacious room, great shower. Food choice was good. Downside the amount of curry my wife had could of been more plentiful. My teriyaki fish needed more seasoning, I don't usually add salt or pepper to meals but in this case had to. Saying that my 2 friends steak and linguine was apparently lovely. The full English was exceptionally good and plentiful
