The lift was broken down and we had to carry suitcases 4 flights of stairs. We were not informed. Neighbouring room light was on all night streaming into main bedroom hence no sleep

Broken light in kitchen made it very dim. Was never fixed - no maintenance on the weekend. Hot water was out Saturday morning and not resolved until 11AM. Taps splashed out of sinks. No shower curtain or soap dish.

First room given ducted Airconditioner didnt work so we had to swap rooms immediately as it was very hot in the appartment Not as nice as the photos very dirty run down and not very inviting considering it wasnt very old maybe 8 years old but not well maintained

I liked the convenience of the location of the hotel, but the lack of communication by staff was appalling. The facilities were lacking, first no dryer even though advertised with one & then, with an armful of saturated clothing, moved to another room where the microwave didn’t work (I didn’t bother telling staff). I stayed due to having jaw surgery so I was in a lot of pain, expecting a relaxing experience, but the lack of communication meant I was left frustrated with entry to & from the building & there was no clear instructions to be found. Also no info that lifts would be out of service during my stay or that paint & glue fumes would be present either, left me faint by the time I reached my floor, breathing was not easy! I won’t book here again, it was not an enjoyable stay.

Nice and spacious, clean space. The customer service was great. The only reason for 4 stars is because the hot water wasn't working in the upstairs shower and in the downstairs shower it was only working for increments at a time.

Die Kommunikation und die Größe des Appartements ist in Ordnung. Das Personal ist recht freundlich. Das Gebäude scheint alt und es gibt wohl keinen Hausmeister,denn es sah aus,als müsse man viele Dinge in Ordnung bringen.Nur die Fassade erinnert etwas an den Künstler Miró, ansonsten hat es nichts weiter mit dieser Werbung zu tun.Der Empfangsbereich ist schmuddelig und unangenehm, das Treppenhaus erinnert an eine Haftanstalt,das Bad,welches sich nur mit Papier dünnen Schiebetüren mehr oder weniger schließen läßt, erinnert an eine Pathologie mit dem ganzen Edelstahl,die Lüftung funktioniert dort nicht-unangenehm weil die Küche gleich dort ist. Es gibt einen unhygienischen Teppichboden. Das Bett steht 2cm vom Boden entfernt,so daß niemals darunter geputzt werden kann. Es wohnen ca. 2,5 mal 3 cm große Kakerlaken darunter. Wir haben ein anderes Apartment angeboten bekommen,aber wenn man eine sieht gibt es noch hunderte andere - es hätte nichts gebracht in der kurzen Zeit,in der wir dort waren. Auf dem Balkon und in den Schubläden der Küche sowie im Bereich der Waschmaschine,die in einem Schrank steht, wird niemals geputzt, es ist sehr schmutzig. Küchenausstattung ist für diese Größe sehr dürftig.Es gibt ab 6.30Uhr am Morgen einen Höllenlärm von der Baustelle gegenüber. Wir hatten für diesen hohen Preis viel mehr erwartet und können das nicht weiter empfehlen.

Informed desk upon leaving - was told how to turn taps on seriously…) There was one young woman at the front desk who who kind , patient and sweet. Can’t say much about the other woman who was short, dismissive and condescending. For people not familiar with fortitude valley/ Brisbane- parking is a nightmare of epic proportions. They have underground parking however , locating the entrance is not easy as there is no signage nor anywhere to pull into to be able to check in. Again- the sweet young lady who I dealt with , stepped outside and guided me to the underground parking entrance after a harrowing experience trying to find somewhere to pull over.

Have stayed here several times and loved it but this time it wasn't up to its normal standard. The bathroom and shower was filty with mould growing in it. The laundry cupboard was full of dust and spilled washing powder from past guest. The courtyard had brown slimy mush all through it from leaves that had fallen and not removed. Very disappointed this time.

Nice big spacious room. Kitchen had no cooking utensils. One dishwasher tablet for a booking of 3 nights. No chopping board is likely to damage bench top.Room was only lightly surface cleaned. Pull out pantry and oven dirty. Drying rack supplied but no pegs.Room was serviced over 3 days

Easy check in with friendly staff who helped with all my enquires. I was upgraded from 1 to 2 rooms which was a nice surprise. Plenty or room, clean, well equiped and seamless check out. Plenty of coffee shops walking distance. Thank you we will be back

Second time here, stayed in Room 310 and it was lovely and clean, very comfortable bed and couch. Some cutlery missing and no can opener or tongs. Shower spray wets the floor quite a bit so we used a towel to mop up excess water on the tiles. We stayed for 4 days and had family visit, it would have been nice to have a broom, mop or dust pan to clean up with during our stay. But overall happy.

Place was good, wasn’t expecting it to be quite old. Lighting was odd too, place has very high ceilings and lighting in kitchen wasn’t strong. Aside from that, place was fine and is spacious.

The location suited where I had to go in Brisbane. It is walking distance (3 to 4 blocks) to train, ferry and the venue I was going to. Keep in mind that that Brisbane is hilly and taxis or Uber may be preferred to walking. It is on the edge of Fortitude Valley so we were not disturbed by loud music at night. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.

The apartment was pretty good, some small things were broken (e.g.washing machine door handle) but overall it was good. The customer service was terrible. I got a letter delivered and one of the staff let themselves into my apartment while I was getting changed to put the letter inside. There were so many better options to get the letter to me. After talking to the staff at reception following this incident there was no satisfactory apology or explanation. I would not recommend.

Unit clean, quiet & spacious for 1- 2 people. Well centred for shopping on James St, am walk on New Farm riverwalk or dinner at Howard Smith wharf area. Train 15min walk or catch a ferry at HSW. Warm, friendly & helpful reception staff. Excellent french- style restaurant next door for all meals & also french- style cafe/ at doorstep.

Location. Everything we needed to do was walkable - rail station-bus stop-city cat, fortitude valley for our concert and Felons brewery for Sunday chill time. Perfect location for sightseeing without a car.
