Locality, food, service and parking was extremely reasonable and made my stay relaxed. I was central to shopping centers and close to the airport. I didn’t need the rental car. The perfect spot to be in Heraklion.

The room was very spacious, clean, with plenty of pillows, a comfortable bed, and paid parking ($9/day) right below. It was very comfortable! The rooftop lounge was also very cool, with a good view of the old harbor!

Overall a great stay. Good sized comfortable rooms. Wonderful breakfast. Loved having a drink at the rooftop bar. Only issue was directions for parking. It turned out to be next door but a bit of a hassle figuring it out!

Hotel has a great location. It’s in the heart of old town. The instructions on how to find it and where to park are very poor. They basically need to say go to the central Parkade and we are up the escalator from there. Instead, you get a bunch of explanation about how much it cost for parking which isn’t helpful. But the largest deterrent for me was that we checked in a little later on a day when it was 40°C in the room was stifling. You can only turn the air-conditioning down to 20. If you turn it down more, it doesn’t work and shut down the system. Clearly, this is about saving money rather than taking care of guests and their needs. Despite having the air-conditioning on for two hours, it was still over 23° in the room. It was late at night and they said I could move to another room. I was exhausted and this wasn’t going to happen. What made more sense was to cool the room before your guest arrive. I would stay at this hotel again if the temperature was moderate, and now that I know where to go to get into the hotel. If it’s going to be a hot summer day find somewhere better to stay where you can actually get some sleep.

We were only here for one night but it fit our needs perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and had a large balcony overlooking the harbor. They securely held our luggage the next day while we picked up our rental car and did a little exploring before heading to Chania. Would highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay at the Ibis, we were only here for a night on our way to Chania but the room was perfect for our stay. One of the comfiest beds we had slept on during our whole trip in Europe. Staff were very helpful when we needed, and the buffet breakfast had so many options.

Ideal gelegen um die Stadt zu erkunden, keine 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis ins Zentrum. Und auch ideal um schnell zum Flughafen zu kommen, ca. 15 Min. mit dem Taxi.

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit großem Balkon zur Hafenseite hin. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, hatte ein großes Bad. Es gab einen Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine und einen großen Safe, in den das Notebook passte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Einchecken ging schnell. Das Hotel ist in der Altstadt gelegen, so dass alles fußläufig erreichbar ist (Altstadt, archäologisches Museum, Hafen mit Kastell). Punktabzug gibt es von uns wegen des Frühstücks. Das Frühstück war zwar reichhaltig (bot süß und herzhaft), aber an beiden Tagen war die Eierspeise sehr, sehr salzig, dafür waren das Gemüse und die Kartoffeln geschmacklos. Allerdings ist erwähnenswert, dass oft nachgelegt wurde, so dass immer alles verfügbar war.

Hôtel très bien placé avec un parking souterrain avec système de voiturier très pratique pour seulement 7€. Grande chambre moderne mais très mal isolée, nous étions en face d'un bar lounge et avons eu le droit à de la techno à fond jusqu'à 1h, impossible de dormir ! Pdj complet et accueil agréable. Un roof top avec vue sur le port est également présent (possibilité d'y dîner et boire un verre). Sans le problème d'insonorisation cet hôtel serait parfait.

Great location. Door to patio was busted. Had to ask twice for A/C to be “turned on” from front desk. They should really activate it once a guest checks in and certainly do it when they complain the room is scorching hot. But great location and nice enough amenities.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We didn’t want to leave! The room was very comfortable, location is perfect, and the staff were all lovely. Breakfast was great. I’m not a fan of fried eggs that have been precooked but there were lots of other options. We would love to stay at this hotel again if we’re ever back in Heraklion.

I asked about membership of Accor - staff told me to go away and do it online. I asked about staying an extra night and they said they couldn't tell me until the morning I was due to leave, so i took a room at the hotel across the road. There no particularly enthusiastic welcome from staff at any time. They didn't seem to enjoy working with other humans.

The room was very nice, yet a bit small. We had a sea view, but it wasn’t what we expected exactly. We felt like they are understaffed. It was very hard to talk to the front desk if I had questions about the area or other things because the phone was always ringing or there was a line of people in the lobby and only one person working usually, so it felt very rushed. But they were always trying to be helpful regardless

If you are looking for a clean, modern hotel right in the middle of town, this is the hotel you should book. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are large, comfortable and the AC works well. The area all around the hotel is amazing with literally dozens of restaurant and shopping options just outside the front door. Definately recommended!

This property was clean, but the food was average at best. I was not able to eat at any of the dining experiences because I did not book in advance. I was only one person and they could not get me in even at an earlier time to eat. This was disappointing.
