Aqua is a modern very clean resort. The staff are super friendly, very polite and helpful. We were in suite with three bedrooms - annoyingly some of the downlights gave off a glow-in-the dark type light when turned off. For those who like a dark room sleep mask is essential. Pillows and mattresses were soft. Good variety in breakfast. Lots of options. Would just like the lids on the warmers closed to keep food warm. Closed some but saw later they had been re-opened. The two pool areas are lovely. Fantastic pools and cabana style loungers.

Amazing hotel. The rooms were so clean and modern, the pool area was great, and the breakfast had what was needed. I considered one of the Henann hotels but we chose Aqua based on numerous reviews stating that aqua was better - and it is! We have had family at Henann Palm Beach and they complained about the noisy neighbours yelling at 3am etc., so we are glad we found peace and quiet here! The hotel is not 5 star in Europe but in Philippines it has been the one of the best hotels ever.

A disappointing stay at the aqua hotel Boracay, as a so called 5 star hotel. Check in was good however they changed our room last minute from the junior suite to the premier room, which meant we missed out on the bath tub. At check in they asked if we wanted our room to be made up during our stay and what time . I said yes, 12 pm. However they did not make the room up during our stay. When I asked on our second to last day, they did eventually make up the room, you shouldn’t have to ask for this. As I walked into the room it did smell. I had read this in previous reviews, claiming it was the curtains. It’s not the curtains, it’s a mouldy heat pump/aircon unit in my opinion. They need to sort that out, Smells horrible The rooms have no irons, that’s poor. Do I have to call reception from my premium room to get one? That’s not 5 stars quality. The rooms also have no minibar or food. They have two small complementary waters and two tea bags, two coffee capsules. Questionable for a 5 star hotel, also after they take a 6000 peso deposit on check in. They have two sizeable pool areas. The bigger one closer to the entrance is falling apart and I almost slipped on a tile that came off completely as I stepped on it. I showed the staff. They just smiled and laughed a little. Be very careful with the areas of missing tiles, the edges are sharp and could cause injury, especially with children. Great quiet location with a great spread of breakfast included. Walkable to kite beach and Dmall and white beach. The place is clean and security guarding at all times. The resort hosts pool party and DJ and music events on special occasions. Very courteous and welcoming staff. They keep the premises very clean. We were there with family n kids during New year week and we had a blast. Resort experience includes gym and massage as well, which is like a cherry on the top. They also provide airport shuttle to and fro. Overall highly recommended. Only glitch we felt was that we had accidentally booked an extra day ( we stayed there for more than 9 days) which they weren't willing to refund atleast partially. That was a bummer.

Aqua Boracay is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is so relaxing, and the location is very convenient. The restaurant serves delicious food, we love tge breakfast and the pool is huge—perfect for unwinding with my huge family But the real highlight of my stay was the spa — truly the best experience ever! The staff were professional, and the treatments were heavenly. Definitely coming back soon!

Everyone was great from check-in to check out. Just perfect for our age. The facility maintenance was outstanding. There was a security guard in front and back so we felt secured. The pool was bathwater warm from the sun so it was great. Nicole( Nics) at the pool bar can’t be any nicer. Overall our stay was A+!

Amazing service. Beds were great. Really good selection of tv channels. Gym was good. Sauna amazing. Pool was really good. We booked airport transfer and I can HIGHLY recommend doing that! Amazing door to door service for a low cost

Really good hotel. I havent been to Boracay since I was a teenager and 15 years later as an adult, I can say that this hotel made my stay. Breakfast - not too many options for a 5 star hotel, however I stuck to traditional Filipino breakfast which they had and it was delicious, especially the champorado that was available. Staff - staff were very friendly and welcoming, everyone greeted you hello every time you walked past. I was greeted with a welcome drink and a wet towel to wipe the sweat off my face and neck. I asked if I could extend my stay for an extra night and this was arranged without any issues and I just had to go over to reception to pay the amount. Hotel Amenities - The area around the two pools are really nice and well laid out. Beautiful view. Towards the adult pool at the back is the eastern beach of boracay, and it is much less crowded than the main beach. There is a smoking area, as you cannot smoke on the balcony which is a good thing as it encourages less littering. The gym is really nice, doesnt have all of the equipment, but good enough for a decent workout. The only issue with the gym is that the AC is not that strong and the Philippines being a hot country, it was a nightmare working out in there. Town - there is a hotel shuttle that goes to town (dmall) every hour which is convenient if you dont want to talk. However, it takes 5-7 minutes of walking time to get there so it depends on your mood.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price We had high expectations when we booked a 3-bedroom suite for 3 nights, spending over ₱100,000, but our experience was far from luxurious. From day one, our room had a persistent and offensive smell—like urine—coming from the AC unit. The air conditioning in the living room was also not working properly, and we had to call maintenance every single day. Unfortunately, the issues were never fully resolved and kept recurring. To make matters worse, we even found a cockroach in the living area, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be high-end. For the price we paid, we expected comfort, cleanliness, and a truly luxurious experience. Instead, we were left frustrated, uncomfortable, and extremely disappointed. This hotel seems more focused on collecting your money than delivering quality service or hospitality. I strongly suggest spending your hard-earned money elsewhere—this place does not live up to its name.

Really great hotel and perfect price point. Everything looks modern and pleasing to the eye. Free hourly shuttle every hour. Breakfast buffet is just right; not too much and not too little. The staff is perfect. They are very helpful in making a stay at Aqua memorable. The cleanliness here is impeccable. Wish I could have gotten a top floor unit, but that’s just a personal preference that doesn’t affect my stay. I hope they upkeep the place and they don’t let it just begin to run down like all the other once beautiful hotels in the area.

The hotel is very clean and relaxing. The food is great can’t complain about it since we enjoyed every food we ordered and even their breakfast buffet. Staff is exceptionally very hospitable, nice and friendly. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely be back.

I loved the location, as it’s tucked behind away on a quieter part of the island next to a beach that gets a lot less foot traffic. White beach is still minutes away, and they have a shuttle that takes you to d’mall which is a couple minute walk to white beach.

I recommend Aqua Boracay. As an Architect. Impression is of an upscale contemporary beach club. Minimalist detail from the double height entry lobby with metal fin sun/ wind/ rain louvres/ rare dimensional stone to permeable grass concrete paving. Hidden site drainage system complements flush pool/water nosing with recessed pool drainage. Frameless glass balcony guardrails max views, linear concealed cove lighting in guest suites.. Fixtures and Furniture matched. hotel site layout. central axial spine baroque on sequence; auto entry court to double height entry lobby, with marble arcade. Fronting full height glazed main dining room with expansive garden and pool views.Moderately low scaled guest suite buildings internal courtyatds flank palm framed central pools leading to the clubhouse lounge and bar overlooking a beach side pool and access to the spectacular palm framed white sand beach! This is a large hotel but the scale breaks down nicely between building courts to beach. Upkeep impeccable. Brunch setup well appointed grand dining room fronting entry arcade, gardens and palm lined pools. Site lighting design is sexy. My only critiques are not design or service but detail like choppy wifi, mosquitos beware as no screens on balcony sliding glass (full height glazing and views rule), at brunch the croutons for my ceaser salad -not crisp and chopped beef a bit well done. Aqua is a modern very clean resort. The staff are super friendly, very polite and helpful. We were in suite with three bedrooms - annoyingly some of the downlights gave off a glow-in-the dark type light when turned off. For those who like a dark room sleep mask is essential. Pillows and mattresses were soft. Good variety in breakfast. Lots of options. Would just like the lids on the warmers closed to keep food warm. Closed some but saw later they had been re-opened. The two pool areas are lovely. Fantastic pools and cabana style loungers.

This property is not on White Beach. It’s actually on the opposite beach (east side of island) on Bulabog Beach. The property is very nice, clean, with modern renovated bathrooms. Balconies are nice. Heat and air conditioning were good. Breakfast was included with our room rate. There are two very nice pools exactly as pictures. The pools are quite warm and you can float for hours without feeling cold. CONS: the beach section is nice for walking but it’s not all the great. There is seagrass growing about 10 meters out that stifles any desire to want to swim on this section. While the resort property itself is very nice, quiet, and clean. The beach section is not that great. There was dog poo, mostly locals watching you, and stray dogs wandering around. White beach is for bikinis and swimming, not this beach. You’ll look weird. There is a nice walking path for an early morning run. There is an hourly shuttle that takes you do the D’Mall (downtown walking street), but if you don’t mind a 10 minute walk via a rough street you can just huff it too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a more quiet, mature resort vibe.

Stayed here for 3 nights the 3 pools and the centrally located bar were the highlight of this resort. The private beach was a nice touch because it was not overcrowded and I enjoyed all the staff being attentive, nice, enthusiastic, & professional. The room itself was spacious however I don’t know if it was my room specifically but the water pressure for the shower was weak that would be my only complaint. Overall it’s a really great resort for a couple or even a family it offers supreme customer service & amenities and I will come back.

Our room was very spcacious with a large, comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom. The room was very quiet at night. There is a large wardrobe but only 3 hangers and no real drawer space in the room which wasnt ideal. Note they will only service your room if you contact reception and ask. The pool areas had a good variety of different types of seating in the sun and the shade. The hotel is beside the windy beach so ideal for wind surfers or kite surfers. There is a shuttle to and from DMall but it is less than a 5 minute walk so we walked there and back each night. The breakfast buffet was large and varied

The place looks like a luxury scene from a James Bond movie was set there and the staff smile a lot. The odd thing is the service is not delivered seamlessly. You have to ring reception everyday if you want your room serviced everyday, no one asked us if we wanted anything as we sat by the pool even though staff walked by us. The one example that set me on edge though was ordering a made coffee at breakfast. They asked me 4 times for my room number during the ordering process, then when it arrived they asked me to write my number on the bill. Maybe trivial issues but not ones you expect from a hotel that boasts 5 star service

The transportation to and from the resort was exceptional. You are truly treated like a VIP, the entire staff was attentive as well as friendly. They where helpful with any ane every situation. I would recommend that if you are going to Boracay this is the place to stay.

We had superb experience during our stay, the staff is very helpful and is one step ahead of our needs, they are all respectful and polite. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, they have free shuttle to D mall every hour! Rooms are clean and smells really good. Highly recommended!

Outstanding service from the staff - Chean, who assisted us during our check in and check out, kuya Honor, Nico, who picked us up g om tge airport and took us to the hotel, our house keppers, who cleaned our room to an immaculate standard, the chefa during breakfast, the breakfast staff, who were all very courteous and helpful, the pool attendants and the ground staff. We really felt looked after during our stay.

The price for having a visitor was as almost expenssive as europe and even an hour would have cost the same as having a full day. The staff was just walking around and greeting nicely but cannot really count on them. Like for breakfast, our plates stacked ups and other tables but they dont take them if u dont ask.

Excellent stay at AquaBoracay We had some teething problems with checking in , however once the Ops Manager Joy stepped in , everything was rectified and the staff did everything possible to make sure we had a great stay . The hotel is on Bulagbong beach the quiet side of the island which was a great decision. The pools are wonderful and plenty of beds for guests and a great area to relax . Guests can relax on this beach or walk to the white beach which is 10 mins away . There is a great bar / restaurant on this beach Lantern which we loved . The property is spotless and our suite was very comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing and watching movies. The hotel arranged our land and island hopping trips and the paid transfer to the airport meant that we were fast tracked to their transfer boat . Great 5star hotel with lovely staff and service

If you want a 5 star hotel in quiet neighborhood right beside the activity center, this is the right place for you. The hotel is new and occupies a large beach front lot. Staff are very professional and courteous. It is within 10 min walking distance to the D’Mall, where are all the shops and restaurants. If you have family with young children, you should select this property. They also provide shuttle/ferry service between the airport and the hotel at reasonable price. Strong recommend using it.

We had a fantastic stay at Aqua Boracay! The hotel is clearly new and as it’s on the other, less developed side of the island, it benefits from a lot more space. This means the pool area is as stunning as the pictures and was a real treat to chill there. What really stands out is the service as every colleague is genuinely friendly and welcoming. They are consistent in their greeting and desire to help, no matter the time of day. We had a nice room which was spacious and nicely laid out, and was only one of the lower spec rooms so if you bag a suite then you’re in for a treat! The hotel is about a 5 min walk to D’Mall and no more than 10 mins to the beach at station 2, so isn’t in the main action but close enough to be there quickly and step away from the chaos to a quieter resort. The hotel also offers an hourly shuttle to and from D’Mall if you need it. Other than being in a quieter location the only other watch out the beach on this side is less developed and mainly for Kite surfers. If you want to relax at the beach and hire sun lounger / gets drinks then you’ll need to go to the main side of the island. This also meant it was very windy! It’s great that no one can smoke on their balcony but our only improvement would be that our room was at back of complex, near the smoking area, which meant we got the rancid smell of smoke every time we left our staircase (not in room) so would be good to give smokers these rooms as smell is awful. Overall a great stay at Aqua Boracay!

der Strand am Hotel nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet ist. Jeden Tag extremer Wind und verschmutztes Wasser. Der schöne Strand ist auf der anderen Seite der Insel. Es fährt stündlich ein Shuttle. Das Personal ist wie überall auf den Philippinen sehr freundlich. Das Frühstückst ist ok, ein Witz allerdings ist, dass der zweite Kaffee aus der Maschine nicht mehr kostenlos ist. Und das für ein fünf Sterne Resort. Wir reden hier aber von philippinischen fünf Sterne. Das Resort selbst und die Zimmer machen einen ordentlichen Eindruck, wobei die Betten höchstens zwei Sterne verdient haben.

The beach section is not that great. There was dog poo, mostly locals watching you, and stray dogs wandering around. White beach is for bikinis and swimming, not this beach. You’ll look weird. There is a nice walking path for an early morning run. There is an hourly shuttle that takes you do the D’Mall (downtown walking street), but if you don’t mind a 10 minute walk via a rough street you can just huff it too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a more quiet, mature resort vibe.

First time visiting Boracay and enjoyed our stay at Aqua Boracay. Stayed in junior suite with balcony. Grounds and pool were great as well as very comfortable room with king bed. Easy walk to DMall and white beach on west side of island. Hotel is on east or windward side of island and lots of wind surfer activity on that side. Not much of a swimming beach but a 10-15 minute walk then you are at white beach with clear water and great swimming. I enjoyed staying in the east side as it was much quieter than the hotels along white beach area and DMall. It was our oasis after visiting the much busier west side. Tuk Tuk rides from DMall area to hotel was 100 pesos. Staff was very friendly and attentive and would recommend this hotel for couples or families.

Nice environment and clean big room. Employees are friendly pools are clean and beautiful. Location is far from the main beach but still have the other side beach just in the back of the resort. There is shuttle between Dmall every hour.

2nd trip in Boracay and 2nd time booking at Aqua. This time around I didn’t like my initial premium room so they offered me a bigger one on the top floor I was very happy with, for a fee. Hotel is very clean, most of the staff is very courteous and greet you around the properties, only one of the male workers there didn’t seem as courteous, maybe he was a manager idk, didn’t get his name. Pools and room are excellently maintained, they take pride in having a high end property. This hotel is not on the beach where activities are but the shutter to Dmall is short and the walk to activities is maybe 5mins from there. This time I stayed for a week, I would say my only complaints are the breakfast buffet could have some more options and variation, it’s a little disappointing for a 5 star hotel. My favorite item the beef tapa is always a bit tough. The room service menu is very limited in variety so I only eat breakfast on site because it’s included with my stay. I ate my other meals off property because there is so many different options from Inasal to Mediterranean at the various restaurants. My 3rd visit to Boracay next year I may have to try a hotel near Dmall to see how things compare. Still loved my stay at Aqua, 9/10. I just want better food options.

Nice staying experience. The staff is friendly. The suite is spacious than we expected. The pool is beautiful and is convenient to get to the beach from it’s back door. The only downside is the breakfast buffet with limited selections, and the flavor of each cuisine is average.

the place was nice with beach access but was told it’s not safe to swim at the beach because it was dirty; food from room service was awful, the burger was not prepared well since it’s still bloody, when i told them that i couldn’t eat it and has lost my appetite because of the blood, they won’t give a refund and was told that they will just re-cook the food; which part of lost my appetite didn’t they understand? food was not good and was not eaten so i shouldn’t have been charged for it.

The hotel itself looks nice and clean. Staff is courteous and polite. Food is ok and is missing some of the authentic Filipino flavors. The biggest drawback is that they could be more organized. There were instances that the communication could be improved on. During the NYE, we rented a cabana but a lot of the cocktail drinks were unavailable, they ran out of ice and the drinks were served warm, on top of that it took the team at least close to two hours to serve the first drink/bottle to us. It was disappointing and killed the NYE vibe.

Aqua is a modern very clean resort. The staff are super friendly, very polite and helpful. We were in suite with three bedrooms - annoyingly some of the downlights gave off a glow-in-the dark type light when turned off. For those who like a dark room sleep mask is essential. Pillows and mattresses were soft. Good variety in breakfast. Lots of options. Would just like the lids on the warmers closed to keep food warm. Closed some but saw later they had been re-opened. The two pool areas are lovely. Fantastic pools and cabana style loungers.

Our 3 night stay was amazing! From the arrival to our last day. It would have been much better if they had lounge chairs by the beach😉 but other than that, loved every minute of our stay. Thanks, Aqua Boracay!
