Cambria Hotel Ft Lauderdale, Airport South & Cruise Port

King bed was comfortable and spacious. Pool and hot tub was the best part of the stay. Very relaxing. Will consider staying again in the future

We liked the cleanliness of the room and its wonderful hotel room with 2 rooms and separate space. Whast we didn't like was the administration of the property was very picky with the times the pool and fitness center were open. They said that these close 8pm sharp for the pool and 11pm sharp for the fitness center. They need to be more flexible in this area. Expedia needs to also do better in this area too. You need to post specific information about a property's amenities so people can make an educated decision.

Good for a quick stay. Shuttle was a mess, should post that you need to call and have better signage for where pickup is. Other than that it was a good place to stay before our trip.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We didn’t like that they had an outside smoking receptacle close to the pool, because people did smoke. They could have more decor around the pool. The pool was cold for the end of March. A heater would have been nice. We did enjoy the hot tub.

enjoyed the gym and pool. spacious rooms, pretty close to food and stores.

Cons: Hot tub was out of order. Staff says they are waiting on a part. 4 weeks without hot tub now. Pool was freezing cold so I didn’t use it. Pros: Double king upgrade room was awesome. There was one king bed in a separate bedroom which is nice because I snore pretty loud. Get place to get a good night sleep. Easy parking. Free airport shuttle. The food was really yummy for a smaller hotel. Staff were polite and attentive.

Pool was foggy

Nothing special here. Employees were not helpful. No transportation to cruise port even though it’s listed in the amenities section. Hot tub broken. Very small pool. Didn’t love it.

Have stayed at this property many times & it is definitely above average. Bar/ restaurant serves decent food & the bar manager- Debbie is extremely helpful. Above average gym for hotel. Very convenient to FT Laud airport.

Very clean and welcoming.

The floor in the room was sticky. Furniture was old. Bathroom was okay. But the room generally had an old run down feeling.

Our room was dirty - blood spots on the bathroom wall.

Shower leaked so the doors were moldy

This hotel did not look or feel clean. Wanted to leave as fast as possible in the morning! Only stayed due to late arrival of flight.

II didn't like that there was a bit of a musty smell in the room and also some in the hallways.

The hotel lacked a lot in cleanliness from the lobby to the room and bathroom. I didn’t realize how dirty the shower floor was until I was in it. When you walk in the lobby there is a cigarette smell. Some staff was very bothered to be working

A clean, somewhat run-down hotel. Far enough from the airport to be pretty quiet. The rooms are spacious suites — a plus for business travelers who need a desk. Staff uniformly friendly and helpful.

Great location, we were travelling with family. 5 of us stayed in 1 room. Very spacious and comfortable.

The property is decent, but I do feel the hotel need to do some upgrades to the rooms and common area. Starting to look a little outdated. I will stay there again, but only at a price point of $100 or less anything over $100. I will probably pick a different hotel.

This is a nice property. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom lighting, however, was practically non-existant. We ate breakfast the morning after our stay and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I think it was a very good value for the room price we paid.

We stayed on the first floor and I during the night woke up to hear music playing by the pool. I got up to call the desk and the phone didn’t work. I waited and went early in the morning and they told he that it is always on during the night, but they would lower it for me. That never happened, so I was up both nights.

The internet is slow but otherwise the hotel is ok

Passing through going to the Bahamas , The rooms could use appliance updates like lamps with usb ports and updated tvs. Bathroom was update but actual room wasn't. Bathroom had a lovely Bluetooth mirror new paint , but room was outdated old paint furnishings etc

Short trip to airport and cruise port. Very roomy with a separate work area. Convenient plugs to attach a PC to the television to use as a monitor. Could use USB chargers and more plugs near the beds for things like cpaps. No in roo alarm clock.

With what I paid for the one bedroom suite I expected it to be much nicer. The living room was a small pull out sofa with a small bench. You could have had a dance party in the open space. Not enough furniture.

This stay was a little different. Requested room cleaning at 1pm since this was day 3 of my stay. Told last clean happens around 3pm. Plenty of time, right!? Came back that evening to same untouched room. Had to take out the trash myself, go get towels etc. Not happy about that. On top of that, person at desk was very nonchalant when I addressed the issue. She definitely wasnt like the usual pleasant desk personnel. May need to find a new go to for my quick getaways.

Staff rude and inconsiderate of customers needs. Spent 6 hours on a plane arrives 2 hours early to hotel was told couldnt check in until 3 i said i have a meeting at 3 and why cant you let me in the ropm to just freshin up but NO she stated cant let you check in till 3. Calls my phone at 259 to tell me the room was ready. Had already left for my meeting. Got back at 11pm and checked in and ask about a discount since was going to only be in the room for a matter of hours....she stated they didnt give discounts. Place was a real dump will never book again and if it was the last place to stay i would rather sleep in the car. If i hadnt already paid i would have.

Staff has poor communication when it comes to guest waiting in the lobby for hours when the room was available

Upon checking in.. Lady at front desk had a poor attitude. Not welcoming at all!!!!

We had a great experience. The staff was so friendly and accommodating for us to check in. We sat at the bar and had drinks and the waitress was so attentive and friendly. She was super busy and didn’t miss a beat. Nice gym area and pool area. Lots of shopping and dining within 10-20 min walking. We would stay again.

Staff was very nasty towards their guest. We had a room with mold and they would not change our room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location, great price, trendy and clean room, hands down friendliest staff I’ve dealt with in a long time. Front desk needs great praise.

1. Shuttle service comes faster if you call ahead to the office - though this was not noted anywhere on hotel website. The service is also offered to another hotel on the street so expect some delays. Shuttle driver was very kind and helpful. 2. Check in process took longer than expected. Although we were checking in after 5pm, the room was not ready and needed to be checked for cleanliness before we received access. Additionally, we were not initially the same greeting and summary as other patrons (who checked in at same time). I had to ask the guy who nearby restaurant info directly. 3. Room was much larger than expected, with separate sitting area which included a pull out coach and all the minimum amenities. No complaints over comfort in room, though floors were somewhat "sticky". 4. Nice sized pool area and quiet most of the time. 5. Small gym with limited equipment but more than adequate for a vacation workout. Would not recommend drinking the water from the cooler - it was empty the first day but then filled partially the next, and it was clear that it was not a new water refill. 6. Excellent service in the area's restaurant/lobby area. The lobby photos are what drew me to the property, but the service here (1 lady for all these customers!) was amazing. 7. Quite a walk (15-20 minutes) to any decent restaurant. I don't mind walking, but think you should be prepared. Nowhere near the beach - you'll have to rideshare or drive.

The staff were friendly and went above and beyond

The front desk was very busy and the staff remained very professional and courteous. We were very early for check in but they kept our bags for us and said they would call when the room was ready. They had our room ready by 11AM which was awesome and very much appreciated.

Close to shopping area

The location was good but only if you were driving or willing to cross busy streets.

Slow transportation from airport to hotel but friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was clean and modern. Loved the ability to walk to different restaurants and shopping from the hotel.

Excellent service at reception. We were given a great room on the 5th floor with a view of the lake. A short walk to lots of dining and shopping options.

Excellent stay. The room was clean, big, and comfy. The location was great too. We were close to shopping, the interstate, minutes from the airport, and plenty of food options. We would definitely recommend this location. Also, our experience with the hotel staff was positive 😊

Love this place : Location near airport, Areas a room clean, Free parking. Check in was fast. Room looked like new. I was not able to see the pool area. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Loved our evening meal we ordered 3 different things and all were very good. Our room was large and we were very pleased for the cost.

The only negative points is the breakfast. It is extremely expensive. 8$ usd for a yogourt ? Seriously ?

The dining room was open selected hours and did not have sufficient staff to service and clean up tables.

Comfortable beds in clean rooms. Breakfast area was understaffed, and food was very expensive for the quality of the meals.

The restaurant on site has really good food but they need to have one more person helping the lady out front. She’s not too friendly because she is overwhelmed. She’s doing the best she can by herself.
