This is a very efficient way to stay. We took advantage of the free laundry, since it was half way through our trip. The woman in the office was very helpful. It was nice to visit with families in the common area.

This is one of the most well thought out places I've ever stayed. It has all the conveniences of a hotel and a hostel... centrally located in the highlands for those passing through and yet also geared for folks who are tromping through the hills. Loved it! Allan, the proprietor, is a terrific host. He's built in kitchens, a lounge, washers and drying rooms. I hope to come again to hike the hills!

Corran bunkhouse is outstanding in every way! We are 4 biker boys from Newcastle area and travelling on a short trip - a very wet trip. The service and facilities here are brilliant. Such hospitable hosts and immaculate rooms and lounge. Drying room for all our gear was greatly appreciated. We have stayed before and will definitely be trying to get back.

Excellent place if you are travelling through the Highlands. Easy access, near in car from Fort William, it has a shared kitchen and lobby, you can bring your own food and prepare something simple and easy.

The manager/owner was very friendly and walked us through the whole place and its facilities. Has ample space to cook food and relax and even do your laundry. Seems well suited for "backpacking through scotland" type trips and also longer stays. Also has a box of kids toys in the lounge which occupied my boy for a good while.

Staff was great (owners). We were given a loud room (could hear everyone upstairs and on the side kitchen). Moved to a room upstairs that was more quite (thank you). This would be a good option for those basing out of the area. Nice sized kitchen with individual room totes to place food in. Multiple kitchens. Again great to save money if you are looking for that. If you go through fort Williams stop to get groceries before going to bunkhouse. We decided to walk 10 minutes to a restaurant. We liked the community area. Got to met fellow travelers and exchange stories. Great part of our evening. We watched the owners sit with guests planning their trips. Beds are bunkhouse style and not particularly comfortable but do the job. Really liked the free washer/dryer and heat hanging room for wet clothes. The owners have really tried to make this space welcoming to travelers and it shows! Property is much nicer than Expedia photos look.

I could talk about this place for hours. This was such a great experience! First and foremost the staff/owners are the friendliest folks we had encountered during our trip to Scotland! Our reason for being in the area was to hike and explore and Alan and Halina helped us discover trails we were not aware based on our hiking abilities. The area is so beautiful and they keep the Bunkhouse so clean and beautiful. We were four in our party and we had four twin sized beds in our room. I could talk for ours on how special they made us feel during our stay and the great recommendations for breakfast and dinner choices that were spot on! If we go back to Scotland, we will definitely choose this place again and again.

The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. The drying room was a life-saver after we were drenched in a rainstorm while hiking. Room was perfectly clean and fresh, exactly what we needed! Thanks for a great stay!

Alan was very welcoming and provided useful information on local restaurants, travel tips in the area and around Scotland. My daughters and I felt safe staying at that location. The property was very clean. We had a mini fridge in our room, hair dryer. Bathroom was very modern. There are all amenities on site. Beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back.

This place is truly a gem. From the location to the services. There is a common lounge and dining area where you can relax, unwind and cook meals. They provide laundry facilities too. The rooms and bathroom are clean and spacious.

This is a great place to stay near fort Williams , 15 minute drive . The rooms are clean and quiet and there is 2 large kitchens and dinning areas for guests to cook their meals and eat , very nice lounge , heating is great , shower works great , WiFi working great . The staff is very friendly . Highly recommended place

Our stay at the bunkhouse was exactly as advertised. The rooms were small but just what we expected—perfect for a cozy night's sleep. This is such a cute property! Great value for the price and the location is very convenient. There is a ferry you can board for free right next to the bunkhouse to go across the loch and have dinner. Such a fun experience! The owner was also very friendly and welcoming.

One of my favorite features was the shared living room, which was wonderfully cozy and furnished with an abundance of comfortable couches. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. A special mention must be made of Alan's thoughtfulness. I accidentally left my EarPods behind, and Alan went out of his way to send them back to Germany without asking for any compensation. His kindness truly went above and beyond, reflecting his genuine care for his guests. If you go through fort Williams stop to get groceries before going to bunkhouse. We decided to walk 10 minutes to a restaurant. We liked the community area. Got to met fellow travelers and exchange stories. Great part of our evening. We watched the owners sit with guests planning their trips. Beds are bunkhouse style and not particularly comfortable but do the job. Really liked the free washer/dryer and heat hanging room for wet clothes. The owners have really tried to make this space welcoming to travelers and it shows! Property is much nicer than Expedia photos look.

Alan was very welcoming and provided useful information on local restaurants, travel tips in the area and around Scotland. My daughters and I felt safe staying at that location. The property was very clean. We had a mini fridge in our room, hair dryer. Bathroom was very modern. There are all amenities on site. Beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back.

This is a great place to stay near fort Williams , 15 minute drive . The rooms are clean and quiet and there is 2 large kitchens and dinning areas for guests to cook their meals and eat , very nice lounge , heating is great , shower works great , WiFi working great . This is one of the most well thought out places I've ever stayed. It has all the conveniences of a hotel and a hostel... centrally located in the highlands for those passing through and yet also geared for folks who are tromping through the hills. Loved it! Allan, the proprietor, is a terrific host. He's built in kitchens, a lounge, washers and drying rooms. I hope to come again to hike the hills!

Laundry available for free, a list of nearby restauraunts and their menus, shared areas with games. You may run into other guests, or share the breakfast area with them.
