Casa O Sonho near Faro with private pool

We cannot recommend this property highly enough. The location is peaceful with beautiful views. It is situated with easy access to Sao Bras de Alportel and Loule, both of which offer a variety of cafes, restaurants and shops. Faro and the airport is also easily reached. The property was immaculate. It is beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. The area around the pool is equipped with a shaded area and sofas, loungers and a table snd chairs. The pool is a good size - enough to get those lengths done. Communication with the owner and manager was brilliant. We are intending to return soon.

We have used Vrbo / owners direct for years and never had a bad villa, but this is probably the best one we have stayed in. The bathrooms have all been updated to a high standard and the swimming pool is great. Being ultra critical, the kitchen could probably do with updating at some point, but let’s face it you don’t go on holiday to be stuck in the kitchen. The only down point was the confirmation from Belvilla gave us details on how to get the key but these were well out of date and despite contacting them they didn’t seem to grasp this. However Fatima, the property manager, contacted us two days before departure with all of the correct information plus recommending local restaurants and supermarkets.

We had a great week in this villa, the place has recently benefited from both inside and outside refurbishments. The kitchen was original but functional and once that is upgraded would make the villa perfect. Fatima was excellent with all communications and details regarding our stay. We hope to return soon..

Deze locatie was 200% top! Rustig gelegen, ver van de bewoonde wereld, midden in de natuur. Met twee slaapkamers én twee badkamers was er voor ieder volop ruimte. Ook fijn dat we gebruik konden maken van de wasmachine en droger. Daarnaast zorgde een keuken met letterlijk alles erop en eraan – inclusief een grote Amerikaanse koel-vriescombinatie met ingebouwde ijsblokjesmachine – ervoor dat je binnenshuis niets tekortkwam. Ook buitenshuis – met een enorm groot privézwembad – was het een weelde voor lichaam en geest. Complimenten ook voor onze gastheer Kevin; met een goede, snelle en heldere manier van communiceren zorgde hij voor een prettig contact. Kortom: we kunnen deze woning c.q. locatie iedereen van harte aanbevelen!

Wir fühlten uns geehrt, die ersten Gäste nach der Renovierung der Casa O Sonho zu sein und möchten uns bei den Eigentümern für diese wunderschöne, komfortable und hervorragend ausgestattete Villa bedanken. Die Villa liegt am Hang der Quinta das Raposeiras, etwas außerhalb von Bordeira. Bordeira selbst ist sehr ruhig, dennoch gibt es in der Nähe ein Restaurant und ein Café. Die größeren Städte São Brás de Alportel und Loulé mit einer größeren Auswahl an Geschäften, Supermärkten und Restaurants sind gut erreichbar, allerdings ist ein Auto erforderlich. Derzeit werden die Wasserleitungen am Hang erneuert, was gelegentlich zu einer etwas holprigen Fahrt führen kann. Wir hoffen jedoch, dass dies bald behoben sein wird. Die Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern und der Hausverwaltung ist ausgezeichnet. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unsere Rückkehr. Herzlichen Dank an alle Beteiligten!
