Second time here and love this place. No, it’s not 5 star luxury, but for a backpacking or city weekend break when you are on the go all day, it is perfect! Always spotless, beds are really comfy and the separate duvets are a genius idea! The shower is fantastic! Breakfast is just amazing and the 24/7 coffee machine is a blessing! Perfectly placed for city or countryside.

Wunderbares Grosses Zimmer mit Terrasse. Frühstück OK und gratis Parkplatz. In die Fussgängerzone der Stadt sind es aber gut 2 Km. Aber es gibt auch einen Bus oder man kann mit dem Mietwagen un die Innenstadt fahren und dort zu vernünftigen Preisen parken. Wir würden wieder dort buchen.

I loved this property, it was one of my favorites for our trip. I see many reviews noted the room as small, but compared to many other stays I actually felt the room here was quite comfortable. The check in/out process was wonderfully smooth, using a code to enter the facility as well as our room. Breakfast was basic but fresh and hot tea and coffee was available downstairs at any time. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel on our last night in Reykjavík. The hotel is in a multistory building. There is no reception or full time staff that we could see. We entered the building and our room using key pad codes emailed prior to check in time. It was smooth, no issues. The hotel is on a main road in a residential area. Plenty of parking in front and on the streets around the building. Nice BF in the morning. Good choice for a short stay in transit

Hotel was great. It was clean, cute, and sort of nestled in a residential area. Parking is on the street, but there was enough in the area. The breakfast was ample, free, and had a great variety. Just had an issue with unclear cancellation policy. Was told it was feasible before 7 days of arrival, but then later was told no changes were possible. That was very frustrating.

It was like a DIY motel with no one on duty most of the day. You had to have a code to enter. I called ahead about early check in and was told it would depend on availability. However when we got there, no one was there and we couldn't use our code at the entrance until exactly 3:00. The breakfast was great.

Only problem I had with hotel there was no real full time front desk. Only way to enter was with a code they sent via email. As in my case we got it while still in transit and did not write it down and then the email disappeared when I went to pull it up and could not enter lobby until someone exited the front door. Then we had to wait for hotel employee to complete check in

We were looking for a cheaper option in the city. The hotel was adequate, but with the limited rooms there was no staff to support. Door “keys” are punch codes, which were not responsive, it took many attempts with the codes to get into our room each time. Easy drive to downtown tourist area.

We stayed at this hotel on our last night in Reykjavík. The hotel is in a multistory building. There is no reception or full time staff that we could see. We entered the building and our room using key pad codes emailed prior to check in time. It was smooth, no issues. The hotel is on a main road in a residential area. We were looking for a cheaper option in the city. The hotel was adequate, but with the limited rooms there was no staff to support. Door “keys” are punch codes, which were not responsive, it took many attempts with the codes to get into our room each time. Easy drive to downtown tourist area.

Property is very clean and breakfast was good. It is easy to get to the downtown area or other destinations because it is near major roads. Downsides are the room was small and there were only a few parking places which meant if you got there late you had to hunt for street parking, which also was limited nearby.

Second time here and love this place. No, it’s not 5 star luxury, but for a backpacking or city weekend break when you are on the go all day, it is perfect! Always spotless, beds are really comfy and the separate duvets are a genius idea! The shower is fantastic! Breakfast is just amazing and the 24/7 coffee machine is a blessing! Perfectly placed for city or countryside.

It was like a DIY motel with no one on duty most of the day. You had to have a code to enter. I called ahead about early check in and was told it would depend on availability. However when we got there, no one was there and we couldn't use our code at the entrance until exactly 3:00. The breakfast was great.

I loved this property, it was one of my favorites for our trip. I see many reviews noted the room as small, but compared to many other stays I actually felt the room here was quite comfortable. The check in/out process was wonderfully smooth, using a code to enter the facility as well as our room. Breakfast was basic but fresh and hot tea and coffee was available downstairs at any time. I would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel was great. It was clean, cute, and sort of nestled in a residential area. Parking is on the street, but there was enough in the area. The breakfast was ample, free, and had a great variety. Just had an issue with unclear cancellation policy. Was told it was feasible before 7 days of arrival, but then later was told no changes were possible. That was very frustrating.

Even though the posting said that there would be someone at the front desk, they were reluctant to just check us in as normal. They had sent an email with codes to the front door and room door, which we thought was for after hours check-in. It was very snowy during our visit and they did not shovel or plow the front walkway, which was slippery to walk through and dangerous.
