As long as you want comfort, good water pressure in the shower, a safe space to stay, its for you. You can get food at the pub down the road, or McDonalds next door. Rooms are good size, but you're looking out onto either carpark or portacabins. No noise though, despite proximity to M1. Bath could fo with updating (a bit water-stained). Beds firm and comfy. Extra pillows provided. Wall heater good and easy to just switch on and off. Kettle, with tea and coffee (just the basics), plus hair dryer on wall and tv. Parking in front of hotel.

the room did not have the wet room only bath which husband couldn't use. the bed was not joined underneath the mattress and kept moving

Hotel is fit for purpose if nothing special is expected. Beware, access to the hotel from the M1 Northbound is through the service gate at the back of the lorry car park. Ring the bell and they will open the gate allowing you to cross the motorway. Satnav won't know and as a result, you can also access via the A5, look for the Service Gate just alongside the bridge.

Reasonable budget hotel for breaking a journey North or South. Easy access in or out via service road if needed. Pleasant and friendly staff on front desk. Pet friendly but fee per dog at £15 was not advertised and much higher than expected. Noise from motorway evident but not excessive. Didnt try breakfast. Mattresses medium soft. Road chef and costa coffee close by.

Decor in need of a bit of an update. Stairwell really creaky underfoot. After going south to go north one day, I discovered that wasn’t necessary because of the exit behind the food court I discovered on a walk the next day. Wish I’d been told about it.

Room was just about big enough for my husband on his mobility scooter. Bathroom was not very good for him as he needs a shower/wet room, the accessible rooms at this location only have a low bath. Oversll it was very clean and seemed to be well maintained. Currently there is building work being carried out which means the parking is not as close. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

You know what to expect. Check in was quick and friendly. Free parking and wifi and places to eat. Worth the money.

Great stop over, lovely lady on reception who was most helpful and also we were able to take our dog along for the stay so very good stay. Thank you!

A cheap stay on a motorway! Did what it said on the tin! Bathroom needed repaint and faint smell of cigarette smoke but very quiet, receptionist and housekeeping were lively. Bed comfy and clean.

Hotel was dirty and smelly , will not be booking again

I travelled here for work purposes for past 4wks & found staff very friendly & helpfull. Rooms are always clean & fresh towels provided. Highly recommend

Lovely staff, plenty of wheelchair space in accessible room, only downs side was the mould in bathroom. We didn’t use any of the towels etc as we took our own but they looked clean enough, wasn’t as noisy as I was expecting being at a services. Would defiantly go back 9/10

Really dated building and rooms. Dirty looking floor and bathroom have that damp musty smell as extraction fans are not fit for purpose. Rooms are dark and depressing. Won't be booking again. Pay a little extra and get a room at a Holiday inn or Travelodge.

Room was extremely dated and decor tired is an understatement. Bathroom door didn’t close, bed sheets had dirty marks on. The whole place needs some serious money spent and closed for a complete refurbishment. It was cheap but it’s not worth almost £40 a night.

All the doors in this building slam shut, and with people arriving into the small hours, there were doors slamming loudly all night. It was almost impossible to get any kind of decent sleep. There was also a lot of staining in the shower which was really off-putting, so we chose not to use it. I wasn't expecting grand luxury given the price paid, but I did expect to be able to get some sleep!

Room was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable but we could hear a lot of noise from room above in the middle of the night which disturbed our sleep for quite awhile

Really friendly staff. We stay here a lot due to convenience. Always welcoming. Room 19 big and spacious. Ideal if you need to do some me work. Good WiFi and mobile reception unlike other hotels nearby.

My room was to the rear, facing away from the motorway so no noise. First impressions, I thought the place would be quite dated, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's clean and all you would expect from a good hotel room, with just two niggles which were so minor I couldn't be bothered to report them (the electric radiator can be turned off or on at the wall but the thermostat was set high and not adjustable. There was also no hot water for a shower before bed but there was in the morning). To be fair, I've had more to complain about in far more expensive and pretentious places than this. Ask for a room with a HIGH number, which puts you at the end of the corridor. I had room 2, adjacent to the entrance to the corridor and stairs, making for a noisy evening. Dining options include MacDonald's, Costa, a sandwich from WH Smith or some fast food franchise I've not seen before. Luckily, Just Eat can deliver to the hotel and the lovely receptionist was kind enough to lend me cutlery and a plate. In conclusion - very pleased, and would happily stay here again.

Definitely a tired hotel. Basic room. Has the standard facilities but bathroom was definitely tired with warn out bath.

Budget hotel but the best you could expect for the low price. Very good size room and good shower. Bit of a creaky floorboard above when people walked on it!

Walls between rooms thin and I could hear neighbours having conversations, also floor boards above were a. Bit creaky could hear people walking about on the first floor.

Old man at reception was a genuine, very kind person. I hope he continues to be in great health for a long time. He represented UK very well for a first time visitor from Canada at Days Inn.

The property is a hotel at a service station on the M1. It cost me £45 for a night, so I really can’t complain. It’s basic, but has everything you would need for a quick stop off to break up a drive. No frills but reception lady was lovely and friendly.

This is a great place to stop over, the reception staff are lovely and really helpful, I think the ladies name was Sarah. The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom was not as good, the fan didn’t work which has subsequently made the metal toilet roll holders and other metal items rusty and the bath was badly chipped which made it look dirty. We had 2 large double beds that were clean and comfortable with extra pillows I would stay there again.

The staff was amazing but the app showed it on the water canal and was misleading !! The staff Cristina made up for it ! She was extremely kind and gracious to me for being all alone in the UK going to the Crick boat and music festival!

Struggled to find the hotel not clearly marked. Phoned customer services… first person left me on hold for 12 minutes. Phoned back again a lady clearly took the piss out of me asking for all my details then when asked for the hotel number gave me a fake number. Third time time lady gave me the number I had just called on. After asking the police where to go I got the help. Lady at reception was amazing! Incredibly helpful and disgusted with the service given. Hotel was ok, but more detail on cleaning needed but still pleasant overall. Thankyou to the lady on reception!!!
