Cozy, chill spot to watch spectacular sunsets in the pool. To get that view you’ve got to get up a very steep, short hill so plan accordingly. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Owner is great and happy to book local activities. Good value for the area.

Amazing view from all rooms from the top of the hill. The pool is refreshing with 2 sun shades. 5mins walk to town. All cooking equipment includes bbq and stovetop. I would definitely recommend

The apartment was great value. Could not believe it had only 3 stars as it suited us wonderfully. Room was marginally small but it had all the facilities. The place had a good barbecue and a lovely pool. Beautiful location on top of the hill overlooking the marina and Ocean. Would happily choose it again.

A perfect stop off in Airlie Beach before we joined a Whitsundays cruise. Rooms are simple but spotless and with a very comfortable bed. The small pool was perfect for a dip to cool off and the view out to the marina and landscape behind topped off a wonderfully easy stay. We didn't use the in-room catering facilities but seemed well equipped with enough to cook a simple meal (hob and microwave, no oven). The full size fridge was useful for a couple of beers though! And a jug of chilled water already in there was a thoughtful touch. Washer and drying facilities also available - again appeared well maintained and clean unlike some of the washers we've come across during our trip! Air drying racks were another thoughtful touch to make the most of the warm weather instead of paying for the tumble dryer. Peter was a welcoming and helpful host, thanks for a great little stay!

Sunlit Waters is extremely clean and well maintained. Management staff are very friendly and communicative. We were very happy with our stay. Like many apartments in Airlie the apartments are up a steep hill but only a $5-6 cab ride from the main shopping area. I would recommend them.

Excellent view over the harbour and the sea. Clean room with friendly staff. Close to all the bars and restaurants. At the top of a steep hill though so may be difficult if you have mobility issues

We loved our time at Sunlit. The suite was great and the views were fantastic! The only drawback was that dishes were not clean and thus I felt I had to wash them before I used them. Likely the people before us just didn’t wash them very well. Dean was attentive to our needs, and Peter even purchased a small magnifying mirror for me to use. This is an excellent location about a ten minute walk to the main town for restaurants and great shopping and adventures. I can highly recommend this spot for anyone on a budget.

Amazing property. Spotlessly clean, VERY comfortable beds and the views from the apartments and the pool were gorgeous. We only stayed one night following an unexpected travel delay but it was so nice, we would have been happy there for a week! Laundry facilities were great and the apartments were very well equipped. We had a sunset swim and enjoyed the gorgeous orange skies! Also, the lady who checked us in (Deb) was so lovely and very helpful! Great stay. Would highly recommend Sunlit Waters.

Although the studio was small, the view was incredible as was the owner Peter who was very kind and helped us arrange 2 trips. The location was great, with good walkability to all local amenities. Most of the time the neighbouring rooms were quiet and considerate. Would highly recommend for a few days in Airlie Beach.

We had a great stay here and only stayed because of the reviews. We usually stay in bigger spaces. The staff were amazing. Celena was fantastic. A few hiccups when we arrived like no gas in the BBQ and no pool towels in the room BUT unlike other places this was rectified straight away, so again customer service was above and beyond. Would love to see another shampoo AND conditioner when we stay next :) Thx for the views, fun and laughs...

Great accommodation within a five minute walk of the town. Spectacular views onto the bay and harbour. The apartments have everything you require and are presented to a lovely standard. Peter was very accommodating and helped us with any needs we had. I would recommend this to all. Thanks for a great stay.

Loved our stay at Sunlit Waters. Great location, easy (though hilly) walking distance to town and marinas. Spacious, clean, well-equipped unit, nice pool, helpful and friendly manager. Would definitely recommend!

Great spot! Owner was not super welcoming or warm when we arrived but we didn’t have any issues after checking in. Very steep hill to manage when walking to and from the shops, so it wouldn’t be for everyone. Clean, spacious. The most gorgeous views from the balcony! A beautiful spot to start and end the days. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing views over the marina. Convenient to town, lagoon, Coral Sea because the boardwalk connecting. Not a long walk, if you don’t mind walking up the hill. Friendly and very helpful managers. Clean and simple. Would stay again.

Excellent view over the harbour and the sea. Clean room with friendly staff. Close to all the bars and restaurants. At the top of a steep hill though so may be difficult if you have mobility issues

The check in was super easy, host was very friendly. The room was so clean, which is super important. The view is spectacular, which I could see from my bed, and the pool. A short walk to the town centre, with lots of restaurants, shops, the lagoon and a Woolies and close to the marina to catch the boat to the Great Barrier Reef tour. Check out was also super relaxed and easy.

Room is a nice size, owners are lovely and helpful (including with booking transport to the airport after our stay) and there are no complaints about the lodging itself. Only thing we didn't like is that it is far away from food options and there are very, very few restaurants anywhere in the area that deliver. The info book in the room also does not give any guidance about food delivery. We got dropped off at the property around 7p and without transportation we nearly had to go the night without dinner.

We had a lovely time at Sunlit apartments. Host was so accommodating. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It's close to town and has the most amazing view. Would definitely recommend and stay here when I come again.
