We liked this hotel. It was our first experience with self-check. This was due to the time of year we traveled (May) and doesn't apply to summer. Breakfast was good. Easily walkable around town though we arrived too late to enjoy the town. Property is updated and, overall, it was a very good stay. We would stay here again.

A pleasant 1 night stay in Snaefellsnes as we were driving around the ring road. Adam at the reception gave us a very warm welcome and was very friendly. We were also quite pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at the Mural restaurant at the hotel. Being vegetarians, we were not expecting to see anything satisfactory on the menu but we quite enjoyed the cream of mushroom soup and the avocado salad. There are no other restaurants to speak of in the rest of the town or within short driving distance, so we were very relieved that the food at the hotel was quite filling and tasty. The room itself is not very spacious and we found the bathroom to be small but it was adequate for our needs. We could not ask for too much more for a 1 night stay. There is ample free parking available at the property.

They upgraded us to two separate bedrooms with queen beds, which was very comfortable. However, the following night they moved us again into a room with three beds once it became available. We had a great night in the hotel. The room was clean and there was plenty of room with the three beds. The restaurant food was good for dinner and breakfast was tasty. The front desk had a map showing all the murals in town so we went for an evening walk checking them out. We highly recommend looking for the magnificent murals. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This was the most expensive accommodation during our trip. The expectations were high, according to the price. We were disappointed. The triple room was quite small for three people. The small shower could fit in their huge shower curtain and a tiny person inside. The breakfast was good, but other places had a lot more breakfast options. We would probably look for other options in the area.

We ended up here accidentally and are glad we did. From check in to check out Anna was amazing and went out of her way to make us comfortable and feel welcomed. With major winter storms and limited options she made sure we were taken care of.

The staff was incredible and accomodating. This hotel was nice and is a perfect place to stay if you are northern lights hunting. Karolina and Adam were very pleasant and provided excellent conversation!

The manager Paulo was excellent and very very helpful and friendly. My wife and I travelled to Iceland in March 2025 and we had travel difficulties due to the snow in the mountains on Rte 54. I called the hotel and Paulo was very helpful. He gave us another route to get to the hotel that was safer. The hotel is very close to the national park in Snaefellsness. The hotel was very and good and so were the amenities. The breakfast at the hotel was good and healthy as well. We had an excellent stay at the hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

The front desk had a map showing all the murals in town so we went for an evening walk checking them out. We highly recommend looking for the magnificent murals. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed in late Sept 2025 and the hotel was comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good but food ran out early.

A pleasant 1 night stay in Snaefellsnes as we were driving around the ring road. Adam at the reception gave us a very warm welcome and was very friendly. We were also quite pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at the Mural restaurant at the hotel. Being vegetarians, we were not expecting to see anything satisfactory on the menu but we quite enjoyed the cream of mushroom soup and the avocado salad. There are no other restaurants to speak of in the rest of the town or within short driving distance, so we were very relieved that the food at the hotel was quite filling and tasty. The room itself is not very spacious and we found the bathroom to be small but it was adequate for our needs. We could not ask for too much more for a 1 night stay. There is ample free parking available at the property.

This is such a lovely location. Short walk to the ocean and a view of the glacier from everywhere. The staff were kind and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent!

This hotel is perfectly fine as a launching point for the Park. The bathroom was small and it was hard to shower without getting water everywhere. The breakfast was just OK, but the dinner we ordered was surprisingly good. And of course with the Southern exposure, the room was pretty hot and the way the windows work don’t let much air in.
