Great location. Close to dining, shopping and other attractions. And to the port. Staff are awesome. Great breakfast. Clean. One issue is the first floor is without elevator. It is hard with luggage and for older people. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This property was perfect for me as a solo traveler on the go in Heraklion. The hotel is situated within a short walk from the ferry terminal, main bus/tax terminal, shopping, restaurants, and the Archaeological Museum. The rooms are very functional, spacious, clean with a bit of creative flair, has a balcony overlooking the harbor, elevator, breakfast buffet, in-room hot water kettle, iron & board. Highly recommend !

Very close to the beach. Parking is tight ( but that is true for most hotels there). A short walk and you can hit the town square- incredible choice of food and drink..excellent breakfast. Also you can walk to the ferry which is very helpful

Great location to all the restaurants and sites... easy access to the port... very comfortable place to stay with new amenities and great morning breakfast with 24/7 coffee and tea in the lobby... Staff was very friendly and one of the members waited for us until 1 am to make sure we got in the hotel and to out room... Would hightly recommend.... great value for the price and what you get...

The night manager was so friendly and gave amazing restaurant places to eat. He was also very kind. The day manager was not as nice as we rented a car and needed to load our bags. The parking situation is not great but we only needed a minute to gather our things and he was not as helpful in making this happen. The hotel itself was great.

This small hotel is very clean and modern. My wife and I had a room with 'partial sea view', in fact an excellent view of the old Venetian harbour fort and breakwater and the sea beyond. The room had a small balcony with two chairs and small table. The bed was very comfortable; if you are of a larger build, you might find the ensuite bathroom fairly snug. There was a good choice of options at the buffet-stye breakfast, and the hotel staff were all lovely and helpful. The hotel is in a small backstreet where parking nearby is almost impossible, but there are paid parking options within reasonable (10-minute) walking distance. The narrow system of one-way streets takes some getting used to if you do happen to be driving. It's a very good base for exploring central Heraklion: lots to see nearby! The hotel does not do evening meals, there would be no point given how many decent restaurants there are in the vicinity.

Good location and friendly service. So good we booked another 3 nights on our return trip to Iraklion. The only deficiency, as every other central hotel in Iraklion is parking. I booked my hire car to when we departed Iraklion and will return it the day we arrive back, that way we don;t have to finding parking. You can do without a car in Iraklion, buses and taxis are ideal.

The hotel looks nothing like the photos. They’re taken with flattering angles, lighting, and likely editing. In reality, it’s more like a budget guesthouse. Our room had a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. The shower was broken and had no holder. Although it was fixed after we complained, it should’ve been checked in advance. The bathroom trash was full when we arrived — clearly not cleaned properly. The location is shown as central, but it’s actually in a residential area just outside the true city center. Yes, everything is close here, but this place is not in the center as implied. Breakfast is repetitive — same every day. Omelets always included meat, so no vegetarian option. The so-called sea view is mostly blocked by neighboring houses. The balcony isn’t really usable unless you smoke. The hotel is old and in poor condition overall. Ich muss leider zum ersten Mal eine negative Bewertung abgeben. Das Badezimmer bzw. Dusche in der 1. Etage nicht in Ordnung. Sehr klein, Plastikduschvorhang und Schimmel in den Fugen. Ich bin am gleichen Abend wieder abgereist. Die Rezeption hat sich die Dusche angeschaut und mit den Achseln gezuckt.

Positive: Marina at the reception was very helpful when we faced a road block in booking one of our local tours. She was able to find an unlisted number for the tour company and connect us with a live person at 9 pm to book our tour for the following morning. She has great customer skills and represents the property very well. Thank you, Marina. I will return to this hotel just for the good service that she offered. Two negative observations - 1. while the room is quite spacious the shower area is very tiny - It’s a design issue. 2. The lady in the kitchen needs training on food safety and sanitation. I observed her sneezing in the palms of her hands and then going back to slicing tomatoes without changing her gloves. Also, it is not professional to be using cell phone for personal use in the kitchen open area with guests present.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Many options, healthy and tasty. The room was comfortable but the washroom was tiny. The hotel is near the old town, about 5 minutes walking. But the area around the hotel was a little dirty and dark at night. It was tough to get to the hotel from the port by walking. I had to climb a long steep slope with a wheeled suitcase. The sidewalk was narrow, so had to walk on the vehicle road. So when returning to the port from the hotel, I decided to call uber (just 5 minutes driving) but no drivers would accept the request.

The hotel is near the old town, about 5 minutes walking. But the area around the hotel was a little dirty and dark at night. It was tough to get to the hotel from the port by walking. So when returning to the port from the hotel, I decided to call uber (just 5 minutes driving) but no drivers would accept the request.

The hotel is very nice. Staff is very pleasant and attentive. The view from our room was lovely, and the room itself was so nice and had every convenience. It is walkable to the city center which was so convenient. The only issue we had was our plane was delayed and we did not arrive until after midnight. There is noone at the front the front desk after 10pm and the doors are locked. I made a terrible mistake and had booked missed booking the night of our late arrival and had only booked the following day. There was a phone number on the door to call for assistance. While the attendant was very kind he was unable to assist us. Luckily I was able to find a hotel online only two blocks away with a room available and a person on site at the front desk to assist us. I really enjoyed my time here , I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Heraklion. The rooms are comfortable,and the staff are wonderful, Maria at the front desk is so kind and helpful,but all the staff here have been great! Breakfast is great as well .

Very close to the beach. Parking is tight ( but that is true for most hotels there). A short walk and you can hit the town square- incredible choice of food and drink..excellent breakfast. Also you can walk to the ferry which is very helpful

We stayed for one night at Infinity city hotel to take our ferry the next morning. It was well located closed to the port and in the old town. The Hotel was all good, but our standard room was a bit small. Also the breakfast was OK, but not as good as what we have had in other hotels so why we gave 4 stars.

loved our room, the service staff, and the proximity to both the Heraklion museum and the waterfront. But Heraklion is NOT a beautiful town, even if it's safe and the streets are small, and the area around the hotel is cramped and unattractive. But for one or two nights for museum and Knossos, this is a very nice hotel

Superb location close to everything in the heart of town and just a short walk from the bus station. Very friendly and attentive staff that exceeded my expectations. The breakfast is excellent and has a great variety of good tasting food. The only real weakness is that the shower stall is rather small. Overall this is a great place to stay and I would definitely stay here again in the future

Positive: Marina at the reception was very helpful when we faced a road block in booking one of our local tours. She was able to find an unlisted number for the tour company and connect us with a live person at 9 pm to book our tour for the following morning. She has great customer skills and represents the property very well. Thank you, Marina. I will return to this hotel just for the good service that she offered. Two negative observations - 1. while the room is quite spacious the shower area is very tiny - It’s a design issue. 2. The lady in the kitchen needs training on food safety and sanitation. I observed her sneezing in the palms of her hands and then going back to slicing tomatoes without changing her gloves. Also, it is not professional to be using cell phone for personal use in the kitchen open area with guests present.

We started and ended our trip to Crete at this hotel, 3 + 1 night. It was a very good 3 star hotel. We enjoyed staying here and would absolutely recommend the hotel. The location was perfect in the city center, in a quiet small street. We walked everywhere, also close to the bus to Knossos. The first nights we had a bigger room, we enjoyed that, next time we had the smallest room and it was ok for one night. Both of the rooms had a balcony. The breakfast was excellent!! Very good value for money. All the stuff were friendly and helpful.

I would never book here again. I cancelled my booking immediately as it was a mistake but somehow it didn’t show up on there end. A notification came thru and I immediately messaged to see if he could swap a day even though I already paid for 2. Absolutely would not consider it even though the room never got booked for the day I could come. No mercy here- Artree Suites is AMAZING and love their guests. Beautiful inside and they treat their guests well. Plus it’s a better location.
