Great stay, very spacious rooms, very friendly staff. Lovely food and less than 10 minute walk to shopping mall with lots of food options. Immediately opposite beach area (you have to pay). Would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here when visiting Doha

My only thing was that the bathroom had some wear and tear in the shower area but that's about it. I arrived after midnight so I was exhausted but they made the check in process a breeze! They also gave me a complimentary upgrade from a city view to a sea view room which I really appreciated. The property also has a great location, the beach is right across the street and they mall was less than 10 minutes away.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable 4 night stay in May 2024. Our superior king room was very spacious, clean and well presented at a high spec. The hotel restaurant, where we had breakfast each morning was lovely and the buffet options were extensive, with the chefs and team happy to accommodate any request within their control. The staff overall throughout the hotel were both friendly and polite. If you're looking for a beach, the hotel location was perfect, as Doha Sands beach club was opposite - less than 100m away...overall a very nice stay and I would definitely return.

Checked in at 6pm, room was not ready. Restaurant staff are great but food is atrocious. No one ever picks the reception or concierge phone number. Room smelled like a damp carpet. Cheap fragrance throughout the hotel - smells like a low budget bathroom refresher. Water leaks through from the bathroom shower to the room. The night reception staff are very rude. This hotel is far from 5 star more like a 3 star.

Arrived at 2am and were given a warm welcome. Had a superior king room with city views on 13th floor. Room was lovely. Clean and comfortable and the best bed we’ve ever slept in so comfortable. The room amenities were excellent. TV with lots of English speaking channels, tea and coffee making facilities. Robes and slippers provided. Large bathroom with lovely oval bath and walk in shower area. We didn’t spend much time in hotel as we were visiting family in doha but we couldn’t fault anything. Lovely friendly staff. Immaculately clean and comfortable rooms and great location. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend

From the moment of arrival until i checked out for my next flight, the service was amazing. My room was large, bed comfortable, nice sea view and quiet. Everything I had hoped for. Weather was too hot ( 45c), but hotel was very cool with reliable air conditioning. I would return on my next visit to Doha.

The breakfast choices are great with good variety. Location is ideal, beach facing, near the large city centre mall. We walked to the mall which takes around 5-7 mins. We took ubers to some of the main sights such as Souq Waqif, Mina District and Katara Cultural Village which was extremely cheap. Some journeys costing as little as £3 each way. Overall an excellent choice of hotel.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. What an amazing hotel. From the staff from the minute we entered the hotel to the housekeeping and the to us leaving. We had a great experience and it’s all because of the staff we had and the service we received. I will definitely be back again and believe the staff should definitely be rewarded for their hard work and efforts they put in daily. I am soo pleased and will be one of the reason I will come back to visit Qatar again. Thank you to the staff of Wyndham grand hotel.
