We had a lovely stay. Room was very spacious and comfortable, staff were pleasant and attentive. The pool attendants were great, nice big towels and ice water and lots of loungers available. Loved the gym. All the food we had was decent, breakfast is good with lots of variety. The salon in the hotel did a great job with my hair and nails for very decent prices. Only disappointment is the kids club which is just a tiny room next to the Coral restaurant, it looked much bigger on the photos and my daughter didn't want to go there. Otherwise we enjoyed everything very much.

A very good stay at intercontinental doha beach & spa with a fantastic pool & beach area. Very good service in all aspects including some new innovative services as cleaning sun glasses at the beach. The hotel is well located in doha between the city and the pearl. Also a very good gym with plenty of new machinery. We can surely recommend a stay here to anyone!

Fab stay at the Intercontinental. I have been to Doha many times but this is the first time staying at a hotel as I usually stay with friends. Excellent choice at breakfast, housekeeping excellent - Sanjay did a fab job. Pool and beach lovely, my only wish is that the sun beds could be comfier and are not as nice as some of the other hotels in Doha.

Everything was good. Kitchen, Service was really nice. All waiters and other people from Service stuff were very helpfull and Polite. But one thing they should change. In the beach Area they have La Mar Club. Thet is loud music almost all day!!! If you expect that you rest…, forget it!!! It is something like disco club… something unbelivable.

Hotel Con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, in un’ottima posizione, pulito moderno elegante. Il personale clamorosamente gentile come del resto tutte le persone che ho incontrato e che fanno questi tipi di lavori a Doha. Ein 5* Hotel den ich leider nur 4* geben kann. Die Liegestühlen am Pool und am Strand waren unbequem und der service am Pool war mangelhaft. Keine Auflagen auf dem Liegestühlen nur Handtücher. Am Strand sehr laut durch die Musik vom beachclub neben an und durch jetski Motoren. Abend kein Bar geöffnet nur ein Sport Pub mit entsprechender Atmosphäre. Das ist nicht 5* würdig. Anlage sonst super und auch alles sauber.

I travel frequently and this is the first hotel review I have ever left. I feel compelled to share just how fantastic the staff were - nothing was too much in all areas. I was given a room upgrade on arrival, the breakfast host greeted me by name, the Club lounge team were incredibly accommodating, the pool and spa staff were always friendly and helpful, the list goes on. Nothing was too much and I was shown flexibility and courtesy at all times - the whole service felt really personal. The food was incredible - a vast buffet of very high quality, and the afternoon tea was wonderful too. The beach, though small, was well maintained and the free kayaking was a lovely addition. Thank you Intercontinental Doha Beach & Spa - I will be back!

The room was lovely and clean, the staff were all amazing, very helpful, attentive and all spoke excellent English which was really good as we only know a little Arabic. The facilities were great and we loved the beach & bar. Did get very busy at the weekends so we didn't manage to get a beach lounger but lots around the pool and surrounding areas. The Belgium Cafe was also packed out at the weekend and we hadnt booked a table so had to sit inside which wasn't quite the same. Ate at some of the restaurants which were all really good. Was disappointed with the seafood brunch as it was quite expensive and didn't include alcoholic drinks which most other brunches do for that price. We did ask if there were drinks packages available when we checked in but was told no they didn't offer them so drinks did cost extra. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the metro which is also great for getting around the town. All in all we would definitely go again as we really enjoyed it.

Really impressed with this property the place is on an separated area that has its own beach access. The actually place is very spacious and the multiple pools means it’s not too crowded. The food on offer is great, staff are very friendly and polite. The rooms are very clean and housekeeping is excellent. I am so impressed I’m booking my next stay with the same hotel.

Wir kamen um Mitternacht an, Zimmer war halbfertig vorbereitet, Steckdosen haben nicht funktioniert. Minibar war nicht aufgefüllt und wohl nicht kontrolliert beim vorherigen Check out, wurde am nächsten Morgen kontrolliert und aufgefüllt und beim beim Check out wollten sie das wir für die fehlenden Sachen 600 QR bezahlen. Wir waren das erste Mal im Okt 23 dort, es war perfekt deshalb entschieden wir uns für Okt 24 wieder hinzugehen. Das zweite Mal war katastrophal, wir haben ein total altes Zimmer bekommen, nicht wirklich sauber, zum Teil bis 16.00 Uhr nicht gemacht. Am Pool oder Strand an manchen Tagen keine freie Liegestühle. Nicht vergleichbar mit dem Service vom ersten Aufenthalt. Ich werde dieses Hotel nicht wieder buchen.

Honestly me and my wife are so sad to be leaving, the service, facilities and the views from the room/ Beach were just incredible. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay the was not a single request that could not be done. The Breakfast buffet is the best you can have anywhere and again the staff were always ready. The level of service and cleanliness is unmatched. A massive thank you to all the staff for making my honeymoon a memorable one. I will definitely be coming back, hope to see you all soon.

Overall it’s a nice resort but the rooms are dated. My room smelled and while on-the-surface it was clean but behind things are not clean. The food was reasonably good. The staff were very friendly. The landscape around the pool and beach can be much better. Good for the money.

Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Stadtblick gebucht. Leider war eine grosse Klimaanlage neben dem Hotel, welches Lärm (wie ein Flugzeug) verursachte. Wir haben das Zimmer gewechselt, da war eine Türe im Zimmer (sehr wahrscheinlich zum nächsten Zimmer), auch hatten wir nicht eine zufriedene Aussicht. Danach ging es zum dritten Zimmer, hier konnte man das Licht im Bad nicht ausschalten. Das wurde zwar repariert aber schade hat das Hotel in diesem Moment nichts weiteres unternommen.. auch sind diese etwas veraltet. Sehr unzufrieden.. Die Mitarbeiter am Strand waren sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war sehr gut.

A big property, nice facilities. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The air con was quiet and could be easily adjusted. The rooms are spacious, but maybe a little tired and need updating. The service was very good but not exceptional or personal. The restaurants were a bit overpriced. I wasn’t able to book one room to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children so had to spend extra booking two separate but adjoining rooms.

Given the reputation of your hotel, I expected a seamless and enjoyable experience, but unfortunately, several issues significantly impacted my stay. Doha is amazing - this hotel is not. 1. **Room Not Ready on Arrival** – Despite asking in advance that my room would be ready, I was made to wait upon arrival, which was both inconvenient and frustrating after a long journey. I understand we were early, but they could have told us it wouldn’t be available instead of saying yes first. 2. **Breakfast Not Included** – I was surprised to find that breakfast was not included, even though I had understood it would be when I booked. This was an unexpected inconvenience. 3. **Unacceptable Poolside Service** – The service by the pool was extremely slow, with over an hour’s wait just for a portion of fries. This level of delay is simply not acceptable for a hotel of your standard. 4. **Issues with Birds at Dining Areas** – Birds attacked our food, yet no staff intervened to address the issue or offer assistance. This made dining outside quite unpleasant. 5. **Taxi Booking Issue** – The taxi representative at your hotel arranged a cab for us to the wrong destination, and we were forced to pay extra to correct the mistake. This lack of attention to detail was both frustrating and costly.

The intercontinental was a nice property. Convenient and had all the facilities you need. The service at breakfast was good but the system for ordering hot drinks needs to be improved. Orders were getting mixed up and duplicated . The front desk staff need to be trained better. Lots of eating time and didn’t seem to go that extra mile for those staying with them. I often found that other customers would skip the queue and the front desk staff wouldn’t say anything and I’d have to wait even longer. The front door staff are wonderful and very helpful. I came at Christmas time to get away from the Christmas consumerism but found that the hotel pandered to this even more with the whole Christmas theme. That was a bit tedious. Beach is the best asset of this hotel.

What a wonderful hotel. Great location. Excellent food choices. The service from the staff was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Views from sea view room was fabulous. The hotel is very clean and spacious. Everyone was so helpful. The guy even cleaned our sunglasses for us. Very innovative service. Not had that before. Easy to get around Doha. Uber is very inexpensive and very convenient. One downside, not the hotels fault was that they had a lot of jellyfish in the ocean due to the winds. Sadly I did get stung and the lifeguards were there and helped me. So just beware if you see the purple flag flying. Patricia a manager at the hotel went above and beyond for us. We would truly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back.

We arrived at 2 pm, we were tld the room was not ready and that we could spend time on the pool and they will call us at 3, we were hold at the entrance of the pool area for 15 mins till they verified we are guests , no one called us at all till 5pm, when we went to the room our bags were not there, we were not told what time is breakfast which led to missing breakfast the day after, not a 5 start service.

Good location - walking distance to Katara (if it's not too hot), and a short taxi ride to the Souq Waqif. Byredo bathroom products which is a very nice touch.

It’s always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious, with a great variety at both breakfast and dinner. What I especially love is that you can spend the entire day relaxing on the beach.

Excellent hotel but limited in having nearby eating places, you will need to catch a taxi to a nearby mall to eat out. Dining in hotel is expensive.

Le dîner n’est plus à la hauteur d établissement et c’est bien dommage. Et même le matin vous n avez plus de jus d’orange pressé … quelques détails que vous aviez il y a encore un an.

The staff was excellent in most areas of the hotel, especially the gentleman at check-in. He was extremely helpful and welcoming. I wish I could remember his name. The doorman was also very friendly and we enjoyed talking to him as we waited for our transportation. The entire hotel was clean, beautiful, and appeared luxurious. I loved the fresh flowers everywhere. The breakfast buffet was so-so. The food was not especially great for the price so I feel we overpaid.

Hotel room pristine, modern and clean, but for the price the breakfast was not good enough - having to queue and then eat in what felt like a bustling market.

This is an outstanding hotel. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful any time, day or night. Food at the Coral restaurant was outstanding with a "to dream about" buffet every day following a different theme. The pool area and the private beach are outstanding. A gem of a hotel.
