Acacia Ridge Hotel

Having to use exit stairs at back after 5pm and at checkout at 10am. Access from carpark to hotel reception. Too many stairs to manouvre which were breaking away at edges. Tiny room. No windows. Like a box. Poorly serviced room.

had space to park a 3 tonne truck, and a hotel room that was spacious, a shower that was powerful enough to get the deep road grime off, and an overall smooth check in / check out experience

Easy convenient parking

As a budget hotel it was an excellent example for an overnite stay . Numerous fast food outlets nearby walking dustance if not interested bistro fare . Parking free and plentiful.

Overall not really wheelchair accessible, the room had a step to get in and no accessible facilities. There was no blankets in the room and the AC didn’t heat even thou it had reverse cycle. Staff were friendly, property would only be recommendable for someone passing through who needs a place to stay for the night.

Location is very nice and the bar has excellent all day dining options - food was very nice 👍 Staff was friendly and let us do the late check out. Beds were comfortable and plenty of parking available. Lots of shops, restaurants, car wash within walking distance. Room had everything you could need like tea coffee facilities, microwave, fridge. Only the carpets are very old and needs changing.

The staff were kind & helpful. Nice meal selection in the bar/ dining area & meal was delicious. The room was of an older, simpler style but quite comfortable.

The carpet in the room was stained and filthy. The room stunk ( of what, we’d prefer not to guess). Would NOT recommend.

Very dirty, smell was terrible. We didn’t even up staying the night.

Well our water was unusable from the smell, it smelt like there was a rotting corpse in it, the cutlery was completely unusable because it was covered in old oil stains, the carpet is wet and it's making our feet black, I've seen about 50 cockroaches so far, the aircon spits ice at us while it's on, the aircon leaked constantly, we lost power on the last night of our stay so all the food in our fridge went off and we couldn’t charge anything for our long drive home the next day. To put this in the nicest way, staying in hell would be nicer than this place. All the money clearly goes into the pub and pokies without even a thought of the accommodation complaints.

Rooms were dirty, shower was mouldy, no blinds or curtains on windows, smoke coming through the ac which wasn’t working well. Bed were completely uncomfortable wiring/springs coming up through mattress and stained floors - overall discomfort. This place is not advertised correctly.

I was extremely disappointed as the photos shown on what if were not photos of the actual room. It was dingy smelly dirty no amenities absolutely atrocious.

Dirty cutlery, extremely loud noise from the pipes in the bathroom, found 2 cockroaches, no toaster or microwave, other guests smoking in front of the room, loud crowds at night.

Room was not very clean, pillows were lumpy and unusable, beds were old, lumpy and noisy. Bathroom was not very clean and had a metal cover under the basin that was falling off showing a large hole. Carpets were dirty and the room smelt strongly of deordoriser. There were a few small cockroaches in the room. The outside area is not very nice although it was relatively quiet. The air conditioner worked well, but the only window you could open was the bathroom.

This place was absolutely putrid. Where do i begin? The staff were nice enough but the positives stop there. The room smelt like musty carpet and bleach. The floors were so filthy we had to wear shoes inside. Within 5mins my children had black feet. There was mould in the shower. Thick layers of dust everywhere. Crockery and cutlery weren't cleaned well and nothing in the room for us to wash them. I had to ask for detergent. There was mouse poo in my bed and on my pillow. Me and my kids slept in poo!! The locks on the doors weren't great and i didn't feel safe with the drunken yahooing going on at the bar connected to the accommodation. There were rooms we saw with broken windows. There is a train track near by so loud all hours of the night. The pipes thump and groan when people in neighbouring rooms flush the toilet or use a tap keeping us up at night. Our pillows were so lumpy, flat and literally falling apart. We stayed for 4 nights and spent nearly $700. Absolute rip off and cannot believe they are allowed to operate with such poor, unhygienic conditions. The bistro had next to nothing available for us to order a meal. Will be making a complaint with the hotel directly and leaving a google review as well. And if i find a governing body to put in a formal complaint, i will do that too.

Buildings and room not like pictures. Access was by staircase at rear of property, it appeared unsafe, especially after dark. Room had no natural light, recycled air con only. Bathroom initially looked clean but shower had what looked like urine splashes around the lower walls. Building was unkempt and neglected. We returned our key and did not sleep there.

No one at the reception and telephone was not answered ..always goes to message ...toilet floor was dirty and no place to put a soap in the bathroom and the bathroom room handle was lose ...horrible smell from the bedsheets..

Check in was easy and and rooms were relatively quiet from the main road noise. Served our family needs although there were some leaking showers and taps in the bathroom.

Was great to rest in between travelling next time will check out the gaming an bar area also wifi worked great from my room 😀 nice hosts

The place looked abandoned initially. Large entrance & foyer is all locked up & in darkness, went next door to check in at public bar. Single thin interior doors divided rooms, we could hear our neighbours conversations. gardens & traffic islands in carpark are overgrown with weeds & littered with rubbish. Our room stank terribly of cigarette smoke. Very outdated room in general. Worst hotel experience ever, felt like we were renting a dodgy hotel room by the hour, very seedy place

Found it extremely noisy music from hotel played till 2 am making it difficult to sleep.

Very bad after canceling on arrival due to the room being completely unfit to stay in have had Expedia who I booked thru try calling the manager and they won’t answer there phone after saying they would get the accomodation manager to call me I have had no refund and highly recommend not staying at this hotel due to this.expedia has tried calling for three days no answer it’s like the hotel isn’t open?

i didnt know anything about a deposit required so i didnt stay also you need to wait at a bar to check in

Bad even by pub standards. Late arrival probably didn't help but the complete lack of interest from the staff started things badly and it went down hill from there. Room was hidden around the back and turned out to be down a locked hallway, nothing at all like the pictures on line. Obvious converted storeroom with no windows and a tiny tv with no means of operating it. the lack of windows was probably a blessing given the view outside was a rubbish storage area. The room itself was badly stained but reasonably clean bathroom. The outside really let the place down, filthy and damaged exterior overlooking a rubbish storage area. tried talking to staff but they were not interested in motel side of business at all. We had booked 4 nights but checked out after 1 seeking a refund for the remaining nights which was of course refused. It is possible the front rooms may have been to a better standard but we were not offered any choices. Staff attitude was basically "take it or leave it, we don't care".

Bathroom had previous tenants used shampoo on top of the shower screen. No toaster in room as per website. Carpet had lots of stains. Otherwise beds were comfortable. Bar staff on checkin were unhelpful.

Reception not helpful My money was not refunded when washing machine stop due to water stoppage in hotel

It was easy to get to and not too far from the airport, which was my main priority. Also, relatively cheap and you get what you pay for. It was adequate for my needs...the essential things were clean but it was old and a bit shabby. Not great for people with bad knees...lots of stairs. There was a loud domestic argument happening in one of the rooms nearby which went fairly late into the night. All in all I would probably stay again if I was flying out of Brisbane.

The reception was closed (had a closed sign up) and looked like an abandoned property. I could not find my room so I returned the keys and went up road and checked into Calamvale hotel. I walked around the outside of entire acacia ridge hotel where there were all manner of abandoned looking vehicles and dodgy looking characters. I have no hesitation in not recommending this accommodation - the building is only fit for demolition. Disgraceful

Our room was very different to all those on the photos. The outside of the hotel definitely is a little tired, noticed a few broken windows which made us question the safety of the area. That said, everything was quiet and no issues occurred.

Location was good. Aging building and style. Very dirty air-conditioning system and a downstairs party went on until 1:30am Sunday morning.

Great service. Comfortable enough for an overnight stay. Very basic but clean. There is late nignt noise from the pub but that is to be expected. A suitable price for what you get.

The place was full of drunks and druggos. The smell of weed filled the air as you walked to reception. Toilet didn’t flush properly, shower was terrible, door didn’t lock properly. Air con turned on but did nothing. Food was good from the bistro.

Room was excellent clean food in restaurant was also excellent staff were so helpful and fast there was not much to dislike my car was safe all it was very very good thank you
