Incredibly clean, budget friendly hotel in a perfect location- right in the heart of Madrid (Puerto del Sol) within walking distance of many attractions and minutes from Sol metro station. Rooms are very modern-minimal decor but incredibly clean and spacious for European standards. Loved the king bed, the 24 hour complimentary coffee, and the daily drop off of breakfast pastries and water. Hotel felt very safe and eco friendly. Only disappointment was that the rooftop bar/restaurant is not part of the hotel (as it is marketed as such in the pictures). We booked the hotel for this reason but the rooftop bar/restaurant was booked for private parties during our stay.

We were only here for one night but the room was clean, modern, well-appointed, and had everything we needed. Loved the croissant in a bag at our door in the morning! But by far the best part was the dinner and cocktails at the roof bar. Gorgeous views, good food including gluten-free options for my adult daughter with celiac, and great atmosphere.

Great location, right in the center and close to many attractions and bar/restaurants. They have an area downstairs with free coffee, water, juices and snacks. They also left a goody bag for breakfast on our door which was a nice surprise. Overall it was an awesome stay.

The staff of the hotel were very friendly and kind. However, the actual room was SO HOT the entire time- even when we were in the room with the key in the slot, the AC hardly seemed to make a difference. Much of the time, our room and the hallway leading to our room smelled like sewage. We did not complain though because I don't really know what they would have done to fix it. We were also on the floor below the rooftop restaurant, and it was LOUD.

Solo hay una cosa que no me gustó, y es el olor fétido que salía del resumidero de la regadera. La habitación sencilla, pero muy linda, limpia y cómoda, con un estilo moderno y con todo lo necesario. Pero ese detalle del mal olor lo arruina (creo que se podría solucionar con una “trampa”). Sólo me hospedé una noche, así que lo “medio” solucioné tapando la coladera. Si hubieran sido más días, hubiera pedido me cambiaran de habitación. El joven que nos atendió fue muy amable, y me permitió hacer el check in un poco antes… La ubicación es muy buena, área de mucho ambiente, y muy linda zona turística. Sólo hay que tomar en cuenta que si eres una persona que le cuesta conciliar el sueño, tal vez no sea opción para tí; ya que hay bullicio afuera. Otra cosa, por estar en un área peatonal, el transporte no llega hasta su puerta Hay que caminar un poco con maletas. Algo que me encantó fué que tiene un área de comedor, donde hay fruta, agua, galletas y café durante las 24 hrs gratis. Así como el delicioso pan que te dejan por la mañana en tu habitación. Eso definitivamente es un plus. Dicho todo lo anterior, SI LO RECIMIENDO, y me volvería a hospedar. .

Location couldn’t be better because you’re steps away from Plaza del Sol, and although it’s so close to this noisy landmark it’s quiet because the rooms are well insulated. The room was roomy, quiet and the amenities were great. Although they don’t have a cafeteria, there’s a lounge room with free coffee and snacks. They also leave a small snack at the door each morning to start your day with the free coffee in the lounge. We will definitely stay there again.

On a street that you can only get to by walking. Ubers and taxis can only drop you off 2-3 blocks away, so if you have rolling luggage it’s not easy. Bathrooms are weird. There is no delineation between shower and toilet, so when you shower the water goes everywhere and you have a wet floor the rest of the day. Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms.

Pros: central location near subway and walkable to all sites; clean, comfortable, nice room. Cons: challenging to find entrance; not told about longe/snacks/bathroom area upon arrival; rooftop bar space advertised as part of hotel but is not and requires reservations. Details: Our room was clean and comfortable, plenty of space and as expected. There is a great ‘lounge space’ in the basement - no windows but roomy with couches and table and stocked with coffee, cold water, juices, and snacks. This space also has a large, clean bathroom. After arriving by plane at 6 am, no sleep, dragging bags to find hotel, this would have been a welcome space!! Unfortunately, our check in person failed to tell us about this. They also ‘stored’ our bags for us behind the main desk where anyone could see or take them. The entrances are completely hidden and very hard to find- should give specific instructions! And the rooftop terrace and bar are separate from hotel and you cannot just go hang out. You need to be seated and need a reservation at times and it’s pricey. If I had known all of this in advance I would probably give a good review overall.

The location was superb. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a coffee place that you can get infused water, coffee, snacks and some fruits for free and in addition the leave u a small breakfast snacks bag at your door in the morning. I was taking a nap after check in and after my international flight, it was around 1pm when a housekeeping lady threw the door open and started to come in my room, it scared me and her! She did apologize. Not sure why she would be coming it to a room already cleaned and I was checked it.

The Deluxe Double room was very clean, and the thermometer in the room was working perfectly, especially since it was cold in November. The staff were amazing and assisted us without hesitation. From asking for an extra chair for the room to using an iron board, no problem for these guys. Loved the fact that if we didn't get the room cleaned, we got a nice breakfast bag in the morning. But have to mention the location was key to this place. 5 min walk to the entrance to Sol station on one side and a 10-15 min walk to Grand Via on the other. Starbucks and Dunkin' Doughnuts are a few minutes walk away as well. Two grocery stores nearby as well. Plenty of food variety depending on your choice. We found a few halal places as well to cater for our needs. I can happily stay at the B&B Madrid Centro Puerta del Sol again if I get the chance.

Found this to be an excellent hotel and room for the cost vs. other options in the immediate area. Clean, quiet, safe, friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again. Tip: front door may be a little hard to find if you don't know what you're looking for so familiarize yourself with the street and restaurants from pictures online before your go.

The hotel was a great location and we were able to walk directly from our hotel to many of the key sites in Madrid. The room was simple, yet spacious, and very clean. The hotel did not provide breakfast, however, there was a 24hr coffee bar available with hot beverages (coffees, teas, hot chocolate), juice, and a variety of cookies and fruit. Every morning we received a donut, or croissant, and water on our room door. This was a nice gesture.

Excellent location, between Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía. Restroom is big, with shower and bath tub. Breakfast is not offered, but have a very convenient self service area with fruit, tea, coffee, chocolate and pastries. There is not a sign to hang on your door to stop the cleaning crew from doing your room or waking you up.
