Clean

The parking was adequately large to handle the number of cars, and it felt safe enough. The room I was in was very clean and spartan in all the right ways. The floor was even warm from pipes running underneath. There is a nice patio on the second floor landing, and some guests have left books there, and there is an automated coffee and tea machine there as well. I did not need to use the air conditioning, but the mini split looks new. Leaving a window open lets the sounds of the city in, and the night I was there people were singing as they worked. Otherwise, where I was, it was quiet. If you get the right room, you're also greeted by a classic partial Roman skyline including a couple of umbrella pines. The general neighborhood could be interpreted as "gritty," but the hotel was pleasant.

Great stop for overnight by the airport. Very clean, good AC, and helpful staff. Perhaps some morning coffee would be a nice addition. Great steak house next door. A word of caution....contact the hotel to arrange a shuttle to or from the airport. Don't rely on the local taxi....crazy expensive!
