I loved everything. I worked for Marriott for 12 years so I can appreciate small details. The owner has an amazing collection of unique antiques. I loved the decor. I’m guessing the owner knows good service because every staff member was so accommodating. I’m going to run out of space so I need to say Christina went above and beyond. She was so pleasant to talk to. My Spanish is rough and she told me how to navigate the city in English. She also went out of her way to get us tickets for the luchador march. The room was spotless the view from the roof was beautiful (you could see the volcano, the location was two blocks from all the tourist attractions, and the staff was top notch. The only thing I would comment on is the door locks. My wife and I laughed because it is an old school key to lock your door. We only stayed three nights and it took us to day two to figure out the lock. That said staff helped us without us seeking them. I don’t even know if the key was a bad thing we laughed everytime we tried. I loved this place we are heading to Mexico City and plan on returning here in a week. I never do reviews but thought I had to put my two cents in and especially give Christina the props she deserves.

Wow, Hotel Posada was a stunning and unique hotel! I had a wonderful stay here! The staff were so friendly and very helpful. I stayed in El Balcón which I loved! The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. There is no aircon because of the age of the building but that wasn't an issue as the room was cool enough. The hotel is in a great location, across from Puebla Arena and in walking distance of all the main sites, bars and restaurants. We didn't have breakfast but it is available in the restaurant and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel if you are visiting Puebla!

Hotel Posada XVII defines charm. The hotel is one of the most unique experiences I've had for lodging and I will definitely opt for Posada if I'm back in Puebla. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, quick to answer questions and respond to needs. The hotel room was quirky and unique and we loved the ambiance of the entire hotel. The historic building is 3 floors and we stayed at the top so be prepared for stairs, but there are beautiful terraces to sit on and relax while taking a break from the city. We had fresh towels and water and really loved the breakfast in the morning. They clearly take pride in this hotel and offer a lovely experience! I would recommend a bedside lamp for the top level suite room (with the blue door!) but otherwise, everything else was wonderful.
