It was a very nice property. Too bad it doesn't have an elevator. I know it's only 2 floors, but when handling a lot of luggage, it can be tiring. Also, the bed we had needs to be replaced. You could feel the support slats under it. My hip landed right on that board. Otherwise, the staff was amazing and accommodated us when we needed an extension cord. We also enjoyed Andy, our waiter the first night there.

Excellent value for money. Staff are old school, polite and know what they're doing. If you're physically challenged or have a lot or heavy luggage, make sure they know that when making the reservation. There's no elevator.

Breakfast was very well organised. , very friendly staff. Hotel needs a little updating. Only 2 single sockets in the room . 1 for Tv and the other kettle. Makes things difficult when 2 are staying. Trying to charge phones and wanting to dry your hair etc. be warned you maybe be staying when there’s a wedding. At the hotel. There was 2 wedding s over the weekend and it gets very noisy and limited areas for hotel guests.

The food in the restaurant is quite good however the hotel itself is dated and absolutely freezing. I understand you might not have any customers but you still need to turn on the heating! It isn’t possible to eat in the restaurant without a coat and gloves. The rooms are dated and also very cold. Will definitely not be staying here again.

I had a great few nights. Friendly staff and good food. I was especially impressed with the steak. I always ask for the steak to be blue and not many places do that. However, the chef at the Everglade did and it came exactly how I wanted it. If I had one qualm it would be that dogs are allowed in the hotel and bar area, not sure about the restaurant though.

Generally ok but the walls are very thin so hear TVs very easily, also the doors were very clunky when they were being shut. Would be good if the hotel had signs up reminding guests to be quiet when returning to their rooms. Breakfast was disappointing, the usual hot breakfast but no fried eggs and the continental part was very lacking! Bar was closed in the evening due to a wedding party which I'm sure would have disappointed some guests

Just stayed for one night,facilities were good in the room,very clean, restaurant was good & the lounge bar area was pleasant enough, plenty parking. I would stay again. Breakfast was excellent by the way.

I stayed at the hotel for one night on 16/12/2022,Reception were very polite and explained there was a Xmas party that night so moved me to a quiet room, I dropped my bags in the room and left to visit family, returning approx 22;30hrs. my room 219 on inspection was dirty, dust build up in areas The bathroom had black mould on the ceiling, around and in the grouting, The cold tap was loose from its fittings.it was disgusting i didnt use the bath there were areas the wallpaper was peeling away.in the bedroom. I did register my concerns with reception on check out and showed the lady photographs i had taken on my mobile. I was told the manager wasnt available, reception took my details and explained the manager will contact me. I will NOT use this hotel again and was not worth the room payment.

Stayed for a week, nobody changed the towels, the bins or the tea and coffee... rooms get incredibly hot and the patio doors open on to the car park so either be hot or have no privacy.

We chose the hotel as it was affordable accommodation in easy reach of Anfield Stadium! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and well equipped for our needs! The breakfast was excellent and we would not hesitate to stay again and we would certainly recommend the hotel to friends . The hotel was very good value for money 😀

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. A bit dated and tired room. Needs more cleaning as there was dirt in the corners and cobwebs. Ok,it was 'a dog friendly ' room but should have been cleaner. Breakfast was excellent.

What makes this hotel is the staff who are really very good especially in the restaurant where they are excellent, very professional, friendly and kind. The room was ok, I've had better but I've also had worse. Definitely could do with an update, the bathroom smelled a bit damp but it was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Quiet. Restaurant very dated. Needs a makeover. Food was average, breakfast better but very limited fresh fruit options. The room was warm and so was the restaurant despite reviews saying otherwise. I was disappointed to find when I got back to my room after the first nights stay it had not been serviced so no clean towels tea & coffee etc. On check out I mentioned this and was told they only service the room every 3 days unless its requested but the cost of the room is the same for both nights. Also I should have been told on check in. Overall satisfactory, brought up by the staff, I'd probably stay again

Upon arrival our room was messy and hadn’t been serviced, but the staff quickly dealt with this and provided us another room to stay in. The cleanliness of the bathroom wasn’t the best, but the rooms were nice and comfortable!

Average property. Good location for what we needed it for. In need of some refurbishment as rooms are looking very tired. Poor decor in rooms, mould in bathroom and to top it off, calls and voicemails from staff after checking out alleging that we had an outstanding breakfast bill of £24 when this was paid when we checked in!! Not sure if we will be back...

Nice hotel with plenty of parking. The room was large with the desirable mains sockets near the bed so you can charge your devices easily. The walls are very thin so you do hear a lot of people talking either side of you. Maintenance could be improved as the TV didn't work and the shaving mirror bulb was blown. I'm not a fan of connecting doors between rooms and this had one. Unfortunately the foreign chap in the next room must have thought it was a cupboard and tried to open it. Very disconcerting. But generally i liked this hotel and would happliy stay again.

Lovely hotel with nice surroundings. Did not use restaurant but menu looked nice. The mattres felt like all the springs had gone and unable to sleep on it as uncomfortable.

The bed was solid hard and think may have been broken as it was like sleeping with my feet higher than my head. TV remote was broken so had to get out of bed to change channels and turn off. When someone flushed the toilet in a neighbouring room it made a horrendous whinning noise. Looks lovely from outside but a bit dated inside and not a very good stay overall!! Definitely wouldn't stay here again!

70s decor ...bed that folded into the wall. This place was like travelling back in time. Unfortunately that meant that everything was worn out, old and not very clean. Walls were super thin and could hear absolutely noise and whisper from the room next door! Windows were not double glazed and the one wall heater was ancient. So it was freezing for the first few hours . I've stayed in worse but most are better...it was cheap I guess.

Expensive for what you get, decor very dated. I had a double room with one socket for the lamp, kettle, iron plus my devices…. One socket for the whole room! Bed was super comfy with nice sheets, breakaways good & staff couldn’t do enough for you but it needs a makeover to be charging those prices. It’s in the middle of no where but there is a bus stop right outside.

Currently on the road and booked this hotel for a good night sleep and a bath! It didn't disappoint, huge bed and huge TV to go with it. Will stay again when I get the chance. A pleasant surprise hidden in-between Widnes and Warrington The lady who checked us in was charming and professional making me chuckle on arrival! (not sure of her name - Thurs @1900)

The bed was slanted, uncomfortable and very creaky, paint chips, marks and stains all over the room. Restaurant food was ok, although the full English breakfast was the same as a small breakfast. Ie 1 item of each. A pint of lemonade was very expensive at £4.80. I would not stop again.
