A convenient place to stay for a couple of days. Parking was an issue. When we arrived we were told parking was on the road outside. There was no parking available close and originally parked 200 mts up the road, l was able to move closer in the evening. During a busy time of year it could be a problem.

Staying at the motel was very nice as it was quiet and our room had a balcony where we sat looking at the bush beyond and listening to the birds. It us good to come here if you are looking for a break from busy Sydney life. The staff are lovely

Access for a man on 2 sticks into the building was unsafe up all those steps at the front. Parking should be noted as 'not on site'. We couldn't use the spa as no rail to get out. Microwave power depended on twigging the lead even without a second item turned on. Microwave was pinging and we didn't know where from until listened. Would recommend it as a stopover for those enjoying other activities in the area. Convenient location to eateries and Postman Cruise The layout of the room was great, the decor was impressive. little table in the front window. A most enjoyable stay.

Easy to locate and checkin was simple. The room was clean and although it had a spa I simply indulged in having a great deep bath. The access would not be ideal for someone using assisted movement, such as a walker or chair, but perfectly fine for able bodied. The pub is just across the road for food or beverage indulgence without experiencing any noise pollution issues. I enjoyed walking around, and up over, the headland and around the dock area. There was a small art gallery a short walk from the pub that I purchased souvenirs from. I was only there for a night, but could have kept myself entertained for several nights quite easily.

Stayed for one night as part of Riverpostman cruise. Our room was room 5 in motel 2. Extremely difficult to get to room with sleep slope and then 7 steep steps. Noisy outdoor pump on and off resulted in disturbed sleep. Balcony garden views uninviting. No insect screens o n sliding glass door.extremely small wardrobe about 30 cms wide. Two Jehova Witness booklets alongside other outdated reading but some good locaal material.Mould in jetted bathtub. Furnishings old and unusual not comfortable. Expensive $167. Convenient to cruise terminal. Parking not ample and had to park car quite a distance away. Apart from noisy pump, quiet and well equipped for overnight.

It was so close to the hotel for dinner and drinks. The air-conditioner and fridge were noisy but still ok. There was plenty of extra blankets and pillows ( we are cold frogs) The plunger coffee was fabulous! Bugs in bathroom during the night when putting light on to go to loo!

We loved our stay. The motel can best be described as “quirky” in the positive sense of the word. It felt very homely and particularly interesting. It was very, very clean and had everything that we needed. The Manager was very welcoming and could not do enough for us. We will certainly return.

Air-conditioning was a joke and with no opening windows (just glass blocks) in mid summer, hot and claustrophobic was an understatement.. The temperature in the room was substantially hotter than outside and as the night cooled down the room didn't. The motel didn't advise us about the air-con until I called on the day re check in and failed to mention there were NO opening windows.. other rooms had opening windows and balconies yet the prices were the same! I visually inspected the motel's air conditioners and they were very old and very rusty.

Wonderful to stay here, definitely appreciated the bath after a full day driving. Decor might be a little dated for some, but certainly not run down, and fits right in with the heritage listing of the frontage. Lovely and spacious unlike some other one bed places you can stay at too

Overrated old rundown building and room! Broken floor tiles, poor, wifi, terrible mattress, I ended up in Wyong hospital from gastro from the milk! Which was put in oj bottles, for 160 I was expecting better, Sam kindly carried my bag to station 💕Merriweather is much better for less 😄

They were very accommodating allowing us to check in early at 10:00am, instead of 2:00pm without hesitation or additional costs. Great value , comfortable, private and highly recommended to try if you are ever in town the area. Did I mention there is a great pub directly opposite with a fantastic menu , regular live music and friendly atmosphere.

Tom is a gracious host- honest, friendly, and thoughtful. Nice touches like fresh milk and cookies for coffee service. He also had extra toothbrushes for travelers. Room was spacious and clean. Great restaurant across the street. Safe and quiet fishing town with walking paths and beaches. Tom went above and beyond to return an item I left behind. Highly recommended this hotel if in the Sydney area.
