We had our 16month old black labrador puppy with us so we asked for a quiet spot to eat. They gave us the snug all to ourselves. The staff couldnt have done more for us and bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. The service was excellent, the food was superb. I couldnt recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff are an absolute credit to the business. Thank you.

A wonderful break,perfect for visiting surrounding area. Very dog friendly. Food was fantastic and very well priced.would definitely visit again.only down side ,Couldn't see out of very high window, and quite dark,but for 2 nights didn't mind

Very pleasant stay for 4 nights over NewYear. This is a popular village pub come in and the locals were supper friendly. Food was excellent and the host Emma very accomodating, helpful and chatty.

A very pleasant local country pub with an excellent selection of ales. Excellent breakfast. Evening food was well cooked and good size portions. Menu a bit limited. Perhaps they should think about offering lighter desserts such as Creme Brulee or cheesecake. I can't recommend the Exton room/suite. It's right above the kitchen so you know when the chef has started cooking as the kitchen's extractor fan starts up and is a bit noisy. The sink in the bathroom was the smallest I have come across. On the plus side, a good shower and hot water always available. And for some unknown reason, the cleaner never left us any white sugar so we had to keep asking at the bar. Bar and restaurant staff very helpful and pleasant to talk to.

Lovely welcome and good food. Room wasn't for me with very low bed and no standing shower probably my fault for not reading if this is in room information. Also the TV was very old and I couldn't get basic channels like ITV or BBC1. Finished with a lovely breakfast, great cooking of the poached eggs.
