A lovely little cottage, and exactly as described. Very warm, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. Amazing views, sunshine, daffodils in bloom and lambs skipping in the field at the back - perfect springtime on Exmoor! It was very centrally located for our outings and activities. We will be back.

Lovely old cottage with character. Well equipped kitchen. The whole cottage is beautifully accessorised and the log burner keeps it cosy. Great views and well positioned for walks.

A wonderful little cottage in a beautiful location, so peaceful but within walking distance of the village. Everything you could need is supplied (just bring your food) and the quality of the fixtures and fittings is excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay and was made all the more enjoyable by finding NETFLIX available and being able to binge watch “The Queen” after a long day’s walking. Just need to access someone with NETFLIX to finish the series!!

Lovely comfy base from which to explore Exmoor. Good hiking nearby and within easy walking distance of a pub serving food. First time we've ever been to a dog-friendly cottage where bowl, towel and poop bags have been provided for our four legged friend.

This is a small but wonderfully appointed cottage with original features and tastefully decorated! Everything you could possibly need and lovely cake on arrival wuth fresh flowers a nice touch! My Mum couldn't manage wooden staircase very well but chose to sleep downstairs on comfy sofa bed! Problem solved! Lack of phone signal a bit of a nuisance but Wifi available if you're good with all that stuff! Would definitely return however...quiet and charming and relaxing!

A really lovely property. Very nicely furnished and in a quiet location. Nice little courtyard out front, but a shame no back garden. We were able to park near the property each evening. Very comfortable beds, bathroom a little dated but every other room is lovely and would recommend.

A highly recommended place to stay! The cottage was very well equipped indeed. The quality of everything really stood out for us - a hotel style cottage :-) It's also full of character. Creaky old floors and low ceilings making for a cosy place to be. The location is lovely and quiet but easy to get to and to get out and about from as well.

Pretty and comfortable. Amazing views at the back. Friendly neighbours. Bedrooms very attractive. Bathroom a little cramped and very dated but adequate. Kitchen perfect. Well equipped and generous with crockery, tea, towels, cleaning materials etc. Stairs surprisingly challenging. Although disappointed by lack of outside space at first (possibly I hadn’t read the detail closely enough) we found the table and chairs plus bench next to the front door were a great sunny evening perch with a glass of sparkly. There is no back garden, which might surprise some but of course you have whole of Exmoor on your doorstep! Once home though, you’re indoors though the little table and chairs at the front does catch the evening sun. Easy access to Dunster, Porlock, Exford, Minehead; 3/4 hr drive to Combe Martin, so handily placed. Taller people - mind your head!

We loved out stay at the cottage. It is equipped with everything one would need for a break. Location was perfect to get to walks and the beach. Our host was very good at communicating and allowing an easy checkin/out. The cottage is very clean and the beds are comfy. Book it!

The cottage was exceptionally clean, and truly wonderful, we absolutely loved the cottage, it was full of charm and character with stunning views from the back windows, the bedding, soft furnishings and kitchen equipment were all very good quality, we would definitely recommend a stay here.

I really loved my stay at the cottage. Wish I could have stayed longer! I loved the whole place - from the vintage hob and oven to the diddy window in the pantry, the fabulous window seats and the views from the windows. I loved the wonky wooden floors and thought the décor was charming. Very comfy bed too. I adored the picture postcard pretty village and that it was so quiet and peaceful.

The cottage is located in an area of outstanding loveliness - moor, coast, woodland, very pretty villages and beautiful river valleys. There is an abundance of walks , Dunster Castle offers centuries of history, and there is a field of lambs behind the cottage for endless fascination and amusement. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable Thank you very much

This little gem is exactly what my lil family needed for a little break in the country side. They went above and beyond providing little extras for our stay. Even our doggy loved tbe chilled out area xx We loved where we were located and loved the log fire. When there little out space is more done it will be the perfect little spot to sit in. Good luck with the future and anyone else who stays there you will love it xxx

A very comfortable cottage that lacked for nothing and the log burner gave us cosy evenings throughout a week of constant rain. Wooded valleys on northern edge of Exmoor provided great walks sheltered from the worst of the weather and village in good location for getting around. Local pub warm, welcoming and dog friendly, Woods pub/ restaurant at Dulverton excellent - and also dog friendly.

Had a lovely stay in this cosy cottage. Everything we needed was provided. Very pretty area. Pub and small shop in walking distance but not maybe with young kids. Great for a couple of nights away and base for exploring Exmoor.

A highly recommended place to stay! The cottage was very well equipped indeed. The quality of everything really stood out for us - a hotel style cottage :-) It's also full of character. Creaky old floors and low ceilings making for a cosy place to be. The location is lovely and quiet but easy to get to and to get out and about from as well.

Lovely and warm, quiet, private. Pub nice (8min walk) shop very helpful and well stocked (11 min walk) open 7 days. Location great for coast resorts or inland walks/attractions. Views/landscape stunning. Loved it, we'll be back.

Had a lovely stay in this cosy cottage. Everything we needed was provided. Very pretty area. Pub and small shop in walking distance but not maybe with young kids. Great for a couple of nights away and base for exploring Exmoor.
