This is a quirky hotel in a lovely village. Our room was in the house over the road which is part of the hotel. It was a very stylish spacious room with a big bed and beautiful large bathroom with full sized shower, twin sinks and a roll top bath. Plus extra large bath towels and dressing gowns. We arrived on an extremely hot day with the temperature outside in the low 30’s but someone at the hotel had bothered to close our blinds and leave a very welcome fan already cooling the room which was very considerate. We ate in the pub restaurant/bar, the food was good and the young bar and serving staff were helpful and friendly as was the housekeeping lady we met the next day. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short because of the extreme temperatures the following day but we will certainly return again another time to this hotel as we were extremely impressed.

The room was a good size although I would have liked a double room But the twin was the only one available for my stay. It was well maintained and kept. all you needed in the room. How ever I did tell the staff the fan in the room did not work about 10 minuets after I arrived but nothing was done about it. The only down side to this particular room is it is situated above the main entrance where the soft closer on the door did not work (if it had one) and every time the door was shut it banged and I could clearly hear this above in the room. A further point is the single bed was not to comfortable very ridged and did cause me to have a bit of a restless sleep. but all in all it was good. I would stay again but ask for another room if available. thanks

Lovely hotel/ pub. Staff were super friendly , room quality excellent. Would just note that it's an old building so ceilings very low.

Room was immaculate, the bathroom was a great size and well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was extra but well worth it. I will be staying here again when in the area.
