An enjoyable stay; the requirements for using the wifi were unacceptable to those members of our party that wanted to use it. There were odd requirements for communication between the residential and catering elements. These last points were merely minor elements and not unduly critical to what was an enjoyable break.

Very modern & very clean rooms. Comfortable beds & breakfast in the Pub & Grill was very good. Warm & welcoming staff in both hotel & pub made the stay an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend staying here over any other hotel in Wootton Bassett.

Staff were super helpful. Nothing was too much trouble....asked to put some items in a fridge overnight no problem. V accomodating. Lovemy breakfast though i woukd say cleanliness and decor at pub needs improving.....compared to the hotel which was new fresh and felt new compated to old tired decor in pub. Toilets in pub had a sticky floor...never a good sign.

Used as base for the weekend to visit the Royal International Air Tattoo. Room was spacious and clean,toilet and shower was cleaned each day and spotless. I would recommend this hotel .

The Churchill comprises two buildings - the hotel accommodation in one ( as shown in the photo ) and a pub/restaurant a very short walk away . The latter offers a normal bar and reasonably priced meals . The hotel itself is well located a couple of miles from a junction on the M4. It is quiet ( the motorway can be seen in the far distance ) and the rooms are modern with a well equipped bathroom and a comfortable bed.

I had a fantastic stay at The Churchill in Swindon. The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable—especially the beds. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, with free parking and a great pub and grill next door. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable visit

Pleasantly surprised by the larger than usual rooms. Spotlessly clean, nice bathroom, quality bedding. Would have preferred a larger bed than a double but still enjoyed the stay and would come again. Only slight problem was that it took 30 minutes to be served breakfast but luckily we weren't in a hurry!

I've not stayed in a Greene King hotel before (I've plenty of experience of their pubs though!) but it was a nice place to spend a night. The hotel seems fairly newly built and is clean and comfortable. Pros: the bed had plugs and USB sockets right next to it (I hate hotels that make you plug your phone in on the other side of the room). The staff were friendly and welcoming, and gave us extra towels as soon as we asked. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet, which honestly is all you really need. Cons: about the only downside was that the shower head is one of those that is fixed to the wall (or actually the ceiling, it being one of those "rainforest" shower heads that are currently so popular). I personally much prefer a shower on the end of a hose so that you can properly wash all of yourself, not just your hair! We didn't try the adjacent pub for our evening meal but it looked like a decent place to eat. Overall this was a very pleasant place to spend a night during our travels.

We stayed last year and enjoyed it so much we stayed again. We had a lovely break, unfortunately the power went in our room on the following morning. But the receptionist moved us to an available room straight away.

Unfortunately cooked breakfast was unavailable in the adjoining restaurant due to lack of chef however hotel staff could not have been more abliging and we had the continental breakfast instead, which was superb. Will do definitely visit again, mainly because the hotel reception staff were so friendly and welcoming

The room was clean and big. it feels new and the pub next door was decent. it was a great location to explore Bath, the Cotswalds, Stratford, Stonehenge, and Wells/Glastonbury. There were some staffing shortages that led to some hiccups, but that was situational and shouldn't be a problem moving forward.

Only issue i had was the walk feom.the bis stop was difficult as not a footpath and grassy so not the moast ideal or safe if you dont drive but still a brilliant stay overall

Nice little hotel and a lot nicer than some of the larger corporates in town. Would have rated more highly restaurant was closed for breakfast (no lighting) - so despite paying for it we never had it. Was told they may open at 8am (when it was daylight) - maybe a few Sausage or bacon butties on the door would have been an idea??

What a lovely hotel. We were welcomed by a friendly man on reception who checked us in efficiently and with good humour. The corridor and the room we stayed in was immaculate and appeared to be new? The room was extremely clean, comfortable and the shower was great. Everything we needed was in the room, Inc hairdrier, iron and board! We used the restaurant next door on our first night and it was so good, that we went back the next night too! Service from the staff was really friendly and efficient. The food was amazing, hot and good value. Will definitely look at staying again when in the area.

Hotel is very clean spacious gives a kind of upscale premiere inn vibe Kettle instant coffee, tea, packs of milk We were very happy with this hotel and that is the girls on reception wreaked... literally wreaked of cigarettes. Churchill Restaurant pub however, although it looks fine inside, the food was much to be desired We were there for the boxing day dinner, and we were very disappointed Mainly, everything was over cooked and dried out I had the grilled prawn skewer starter three large prawns but they had been over cooked and the full shells were left on .. Who in their right mind, wants to put their hands all over their food to pull off shells… The dip it came with was pretty much Sriracha and mayonnaise not very tasty My husband had the cheesy mushrooms, they were pretty good, the amain dinner itself was again over cooked and dried - the Yorkshire pudding had obviously been cooked hours before & sitting around til needed. The roast parsnips were extremely tough & chewy, same with the roast potatoes. The meat (turkey or chicken) & the gravy was delicious though. Puds was fine. The servers were all very sweet & helpful.
