Room was not as clean as expected with areas clearly not vacuumed. Wet room had a bare plasterboarded ceiling and a piece of UPVC at the bottom of the door to stop water flooding the bedroom. Tea making facilities were good, but paper cups were not the best. I sent a message regarding the security of the bedroom door with the key code number used (123456), but no response received. Parking was ok but spaces not large. Grounds around were messy and full of weeds and brambles with other rubbish around. Overall not the best for the price paid.

I've never stayed in a more revolting room than cabin no. 40 - this room was an unsafe health hazard, completely inappropriate for any travelling guest. - there was no running hot water as the supply had been disconnected - the sink pedestal was broken and falling off the wall - the bathroom was infested with slugs, which were crawling over the toilet cistern, toilet paper and walls - the bathroom panelling was damaged and falling off - the bathroom door would not close as no latch had been fitted to the door - the room was covered in spiders, cobwebs and nests full of eggs - the bunk bed was assembled incorrectly, was unstable and dangerous, so couldn't be used, which forced us to share one of the single beds all night - the duvets were unclean - the entire room was damp and poorly maintained - the room had NO PRIVACY because the window blinds were too small to cover the window openings This room made my skin crawl and we did not get a moment of rest for the duration of our stay - which mercifully was only one night. I happen to be a private host myself so I know how difficult it is to please every guest, and I have never felt the need to complain to a host before, but I'm shocked and appalled at the state of this accommodation. An absolutely foul and disgusting room. I know this may come across as a vexatious review - it isn't. This was a real experience which our family deeply regrets - so stay at this property at your own risk.

Lovely guesthouse perfect for my short stay and good value for the price.I checked in after hours so no staff on duty but I was sent a clear message on how to access my room. It was a single room with an en-suite shower, clean and plenty of hot water. Room also had a tv and complementary tea and coffee. Plenty of parking outside and easy to access off the main road. Would use again

It's all self check in so you can arrive out of hours which was great for us. The room was clean and there are tea making facilities. Overall we had a good stay although the people upstairs were noisy from about 5am..
