Marina Port & Beach-Apartment

This location is very nice to be across the street from the beach and yet only an very easy 20 minute metro ride into Barcelona. We got the T10 metro card and stayed three nights on the same card. The host is very responsive and accommodating. There were several nice bakeries and cafes within a 4 block walking distance. We were not able to use the terrace while we were there due to maintenance but the host did her best to make it up to us. The bedrooms have fans which is nice since the AC unit is in the main room. Leaving the bedroom doors open at night to allow the AC to filter in was very useful I can say that after spending time in Barcelona, I appreciated staying away from the city a bit. It's much more peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location near beach and train station. Excellent restaurants in harbor area a short walk from apartment. La Yaci became a favorite of ours. The train into Barcelona comes about every 15 minutes and the travel time is about 20 minutes. We wish the mattress and pillows were more comfortable and that the beach chairs were not so bulky. Like most places in Europe, the rooms are all small and the spaces are just big enough to hold you. The outdoor shot with the views is from a common area on the roof and you have to bring the chairs up there to enjoy it. From inside the apartment, there is a nice harbor view through the dining room window.

Excellent property, clean and well maintained. Good location for access to train station and local shops. Lift and good view of the harbour. Would recommend.

Apartment is sufficiently equipped. Location is excellent for getting into Barcelona. However, proximity of rail and 4-lane busy road coupled with mediocre noise insulation makes it recommendable to bring ear protection. Sofa lounger is well-used. Parking of own vehicles can be a challenge in the narrow streets nearby - unless one pays for day tickets around harbour site. Un-Loading is cumbersome with vehicle squeezed onto the pedestrian walkway. Host is extremly friendly, helpful and very efficient.

I love Barcelona. The host was exceptionally gracious. Her written and verbal instructions started us on the right foot and everything in the apartment was perfect. Thanks Kirsten for the lovely place. Our 16 year old had a once in a lifetime experience at the beaches, restaurants, and trains. We'll be back.
