The Pepin Mansion B&B was a wonderful experience! Our room and the amenities were beautiful and very comfortable, and our breakfasts were delicious and served at a beautifully elegant table. The innkeeper, Mimi, was extraordinary and went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. We will stay here again in a heartbeat if we return to the Louisville area.

Loved the Pepin Mansion. It's a home built during the Civil War, so very unique to the time. Clean; staff very friendly and welcoming, providing a great history of the Mansion. It includes breakfast, which was delicious 😋 Only concern would be older people with balance or disabilities since, depending on your room, there are stairs and/or a claw footed tub. We were fine, but be sure to check all the details.

I am a local who popped in for a hastily scheduled weekend to focus and catch up on some work and study (a self-imposed lockdown). I stayed in Room 1, the Victor Pepin suite. It was well-appointed, but there was no en suite bath (as mentioned in the description). Although a private bath is offered with this suite, it is not near the room; it is down a flight of stairs. This room is also connected (though shut off from) a common room, which is opened for wedding parties to dress and get ready. A wedding or event here would be beautiful, and the history of the home and area is full of fun details. Mimi, the innkeeper, is a gem. Pleasant and knowledgeable, a fantastic cook (don't miss breakfast - and arrive hungry!), and interesting/interested in everyone. This is a great place to spend a couple of days, whether you're in town to sightsee or needing a quiet respite to focus and recharge!

The 175 year old mansion is a cool stay. The good is great. The staff are kind. You must use stairs. The bathroom for room 1 is on the first floor. It is only for use by the guests in room 1, so it is only a minor inconvenience. I was there Saturday and Sunday. There were events on the first floor both days. The second floor is only for B&B guests, so you have your own space during the events. I look forward to going back.
